Prestiging isn't for everyone, I just don't enjoy the game as much when I have nothing to really work for. My first account has all golden weapons and all but like 5 challenges done, my 2nd account has 3 out of 5 golden weapons with around 30 more headshots on the uzi for #4 as well as having all but like 5 to 8 challenges done.

I think i'll try to land myself one of those free token though.
 
Same. I'll try to land a free token, not for myself (I already have them), but for a friend of mine who thinks $10 for a Map Pack that was released like a year ago is still $10. Here's to hoping I grab COD4 from a CAG Seller by February 24th!
 
I played 2 Games today. A warmup Team Deathmatch and Sabotage. I haven't played in about a month and on my 2nd game I went 60 K and 13 D. My aiming kinda sucked since I haven't played lately but pretty decent game I had.
 
Sweet, double XP! I just picked this game up to play with friends after owning it on PC. This'll help be get up to the 30-40's, 50's depending on if I choose to sleep or not.
 
Well...it looks like i'm going back to COD4, I've been thinking about quitting Waw for a while, but now its gonna happen

also, I've been hoping for hardcore hq forever... hopefully it will cut down on some random nades

Pretty sure they cost the same at B&M stores unless one goes on clearance (they usually have different sku #'s). The map pack shouldn't have been taken away, but the new maps are pretty lousy anyways IMO. I paid $10 for them and just deleted them due to dislike.

No "noobs" only room, the closest thing to that is mercenary team deathmatch. I would highly suggest doing a private match first and going through each map and getting a little used to them before playing though.

@KingBroly, I am pretty sure they just stopped giving out the map packs with the GOTY edition a while ago. There is no way to get a "free" map pack anymore as far as I know. The maps will be around $5 when they go to 50% off though.
 
I actually have an unused map pack code from the game of the year edition if anyone wants it. I could never get it to work because the code redemption site was always down.

I am close to rebuying COD4 and I am going to get the GOTY edition and I already bought the DLC the first time so if I do the code is yours. :)

The GOTY doesn't come with codes now anyway so I don't think it matters.

I have COD4 for the PS3, but I just picked it up for the 360 so I can play with some CAG's! Nice that the map pack is in sale too!

Chinatown and Shipment are worth it alone. Chinatown is super fun (because I love the shotgun) and shipment is absolutely insane. Picture headquarters with 3x frags and lmgs going off everywhere ...in a small cardbord box. :D

And on a side note, I have just gotten back into COD 4 and I cannot wait until Modern Warfare 2. This is one of the best games on the 360.

Uh shipment is not part of the map pack.
 
Maybe he actually meant Killhouse? That is the only one that is even close to Shipment and it is part of the map pack, though it doesn't show up in much.

Edit: Also, if you don't like camping/campers, I would suggest staying away from the map pack. Broadcast is the best of all of them and that one is okay at best.

Killhouse only shows up in cage and free for all. So essentially, if you never play those game types, you're getting 3 maps. I like the maps, so I'd buy em anyway.
 
I don't think the maps are worth it.

Creek is really shitty, Killhouse never shows up unless you play the above listed game types, and Chinatown is meh. The only good one is Broadcast.

I love Creek. I just run through killing all the snipers with extreme conditioning and my silenced golden uzi

Err..yea I definitely meant shipment, don't know why I thought that was part of the map pack. But thanks for coverin for me SlimJim!

Hope everyone is enjoying the double xp, I've played quite a bit and I'm noticing a lot of connection problems and random lobby closing.

You can, start a second (or third in my case) account. It is still basically the only MP game I really play much of and I get bored without having challenges/prestiges to work through (just finished getting golden weapons for the 2nd time).

No thanks. I like my stats and don't feel the need to start new accounts when I've paid for one as it is.
 
Very cool, I just won a free 1600 XBL point card from Super-Pretendo, so I will probably pick it up.
