Look how much EB has it down for (for now)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/520782.asp

Lower it by at least $20 and I'll bite it.
There's no way they would release a bunch of old (though great) games for a full 50 dollar price. EB prolly just got news about a new game, and instantly put it in for 50 (I hope)

If those are the arcade versions of Bionic Commando, Forgotten Worlds and Ghouls and Ghosts, I'll shit myself..been waiting to play the arcade versions for a loooooong time.

Ah, good point. I was just thinking of the console versions.

Yup, they are the arcade versions, except for possibly Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts since that was made just for the SNES (the OP might have just meant Ghouls'n'Ghosts).

Wow a bunch of CPS1 games and a CPS1 emulator for PS2.. fantastic. I'll probably buy it cuz I suck...

Capcom: Listen to me assholes... Where is my Street Fighter Alpha collection? That better come out this year... and it better have Zero 2 Alpha, Alpha 2 Gold, Alpha 3 Upper (but with CPS2 quality graphics)... Oh yeah throw SF1 and SF: The Movie on there also so I can laugh at them...

SF:the Movie in the arcade was juggle heaven. you pretty much lost the match if your feet left the ground

Sega CD got the best home version of the original Final Fight, so I sure hope Capcom isn't thinking about porting the old SNES version. I want me some multi-player action old school style.

Nice that it includes Final Fight, although I have a pretty good version of that game on SEGA CD. I hope they eventually come out with an arcade compilation that has arcade games that never saw a home release like:
Willow
Aliens vs. Predator
Knights of the Round
Captain Commando
Varth
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
Punisher
Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom
Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara
Eco Fighters
Xmen Children of the Atom
Carrier Air Wing
Mega Twins

Also, where's the original Street Fighter? I would like to see this one on another system other than Turbo Grafx 16.
Other games I want arcade versions of are:
U.N. Squadron
Magic Sword
Xmen vs. Street Fighter

Actually, quite a few of those have seen home ports, still none of them were close to being arcade perfect.

I doubt you'll see the Xmen game since they dont have the licence anymore and AVP probably will share a similar fate.

I feel sad that it too this long for the arcade version os Bionic commando to reach a home system that isnt a computer. Basically been waiting for this since the original days of the first strider game... of course I didn't have to wait this long to play it again... :)

This is great... but all of these Capcom compilations are getting trite.

I want a new 2-d Street Fighter, dammit!

I like how they released the old street fighter II games in their own collection some time ago and now they are casually tossing them into this collection. Oh capcom...

If they threw some of these games on there, namely Magic Sword and Knights of the Round, I'd be sold. Though stuff like X-Men, D&D, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, and Punisher can't be used due to licensing issues.

Would be good to see Captain Commando too. I think three different Street Fighter's and three different Ghosts n' Goblins are pushing it a bit much, not to mention the 3 1942 / 1943 games.

Got a feeling Capcom is saving stuff like Magic Sword and Street Fighter Alpha for a second collection if this one sells good.

I'm having that. All I need now is for Konami to announce a similar collection, and I'll have no need to buy any more games, ever. :D
Where is SF IV? Sammy Vs. Capcom? SVC Chaos 2?
Eh? They can't put EVERY arcade game they've ever released on there. It's mostly 80s titles anyway. Besides, you could ask similar questions of the Midway Arcade Treasures sets. That's a fantastic collection, and if it does well, there'll probably be a Capcom Collection 2. Maybe that'll cater to your liking a bit better.

Actually, only 21. SFII CE and HF are almost the same games - they even use most of the same roms! HF was an upgrade for CE, which added a few new moves and tightened the balancing between fighters, as well as increasing the speed slightly. Even the SNES version included both versions on the cartridge!

Yeah, I know about the difference in SF: CE and Turbo. I've played SFII for so long that they (almost) seem like two different games.

Capcom must be really embarrased about SF 1 to not put that game in though. I don't think it's ever been in any kind of compilation outside of that double pack they released for the PC.
I'm more interested in the new Sonic collection that finally has Sonic CD.
Which one is this?

That was quite an amusing exchange.
No offense, but wouldn't it be kinda weird to put two Game Boy Color games on a disc full of arcade games?
Amost as wierd as putting 2 and 8 bit games that are mostly under 200k on a DVD-ROM for a current generation console.
