Well we did lose alot of points out of those player vs player matches but we kicked ass againts the CPU :lol:

Cobra55 no longer has this game. He failed to tell me that he only rented it. Sorry about the hastle. You can go ahead and boot him.
 
Oh and Ramo, the war ended. The next one is almost over. Tarakia is gone and we had about 3 pieces of land controlled. This one should be over if its not already. Since we need 1 more for the 3 in a nation achievement that some of the later squad members need. I say we just stick it out for one more war in Sal Kar.
 
I hate to be a party pooper guys-- but I actually traded it back in. I tried playing online but for some reason, squad or no squad-- I can't connect to any match/ be it part of the war or not-- since the MP was the reason I bought the game, and I can't participate in it, It is now no longer a part of my collection.

Bump me off the list. :(

Have you tried checking your connection settings in the dash? 99% of the time, the culprit is your router. When I first got my 360, even though I never had a single problem with my original Xbox, and even though the 360 dash said it was an open NAT, my router wouldn't connect to most people. I replaced it with a cheapo wireless router, problem solved. Your issue might be resolved with just opening up a few ports, however.

This game is insane, you'll wish you had it. I got up to Colonel a week or two ago, but most of my squad had to take the week off, I can't stand not playing.

I did the whole shebang, putting the 360 in the DMZ, opening up ports- enabling high priority to the MAC address I created for the 360-- nothing seemed to work. Open NAT, all of that. I even tried the straight cable modem into the 360, to no avail. Only game that doesn't seem to work-- Street Fighter and Texas Hold 'Em work fine enough.

It would say I was connecting to lobbies and areas with people in-- would hear the trademark mic "click" from the others in the lobby, then Chromehounds would say I'd lose my connection.

If you've got any other ideas, I'd appreciate it-- but for now I'll probably just finish up Dead Rising, and get into Saint's Row.
 
You've tried direct to the cable modem? Hmm... Who is your ISP? What kind of cable modem do you have?

Even if you don't pick up Chromehounds again, this is something you'll want to address or it'll happen again down the road.

Have you tried with a small room? Maybe 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2? 6 vs 6's often don't work, and rooms drop often if the guy hosting has a bad connection.

Awesome night guys. Finally played the Free-for-all battle royal and it was awesome. This definately added some more depth to the game that we hadn't yet experienced. I love this game more every day.
 
I had fun tonite also (man, it was PACKED today!)...sorry I had to drop out early, but I was getting frustrated with the "every other mission" network problems I was having.

Sounds like the free-for-all was a success. I'm looking forward to "stepping into the octagon" with you guys!
 
The Free-for-All was definitely an added bonus to this already great game. Mainly because I was the number-giving, balls-to-the wall, death-dealing, cold-hearted badass of the match....................until they all joined together to take me out.

Linkin: I booted GBMan & Cobra55 for now Andyseous will be going next when we need the room.

You totally whooped our chromed assess last night. I didnt think it could get worse than Ramo but damn! Awesome killing machine you got there.

LOL, I haven't checked my picks yet...knowing my luck, I'll probably end up winning some spacers. :)

Anyways, that was alot of fun last night. We should do some intra-squad team battles also...this is all good practice for everyone. What's funny is that my hound gets owned in regular missions by turrets and drones, since I don't have have any sidearm weapons. Also, I had to self-destruct a few times because I ran out of ammo (I wish I knew how the resupply worked). With that said, I'm sure you guy's will be ready for me next time!

I guess thats what might have happened with Ramo, he was the leader in the battles the night before.

Starkweather is someone to watch out for too, he sneaks and takes your kill right before you are about to take it yourself and then he kills you too :shock:

Yup then he'll say he beat you in free battle. I didnt hear him talking much last night after toper owned everyone.

That's funny you mention that...... I hadn't even read this unitl just now but I did clear some room out yesterday. I actualy added DrStarweather too right before sended him a pic of V.
 
Sorry I have not been playing but I just really got into the BFME2. Did we stay on the same nation for a 3rd term for some of us could get the achievement?

Not a big deal if we did not because Sal Kar nations always loses, but I was just curious.

Yes we did. When this war ends all who participated in the last 3 consecutive Sal Kar wars should get the achivement.

Anyway, I finally finished SP all with S rankings. That last bonus mission pissed me off but after an hour I beat it. Yay for me!
 
Jeez, the second time I win the battle royale to get extra picks and the second time I don't win anything. :(

Anyways, I'm looking forward to logging in some hours this weekend with this (and saints row).

The last level in single player is an insane difficulty jump. I don't think I can beat it with the hound they give me. I simply cannot keep enough distance between me and the second hound because I keep getting stuck on rocks or building fragments. It's thouroughly frustrating not being able to walk backwards and have accurate aim at the same time because of all the obstacles.

I just got done finishing that one 2 days ago, It was a pain in the ass. Here's what I did using the borrowed hound:

From the starting point, take out the 2 tanks around the area to the front of you, there's one on the right by a hill, and 2 or 3 on the hill on the left. After you kill the tanks and shoot a couple shots in the air towards where the black hounds are, keep inching closer until the first one comes at you. At this point you're going to keep backing up in zig-zag rotation while shooting it as fast as you can with the rifle, keep your distance and aim for the cockpit only. If you can, try the canons. After a few shots the other hound will come up from behind. As you're moving backwards, try to get to the far right-middle of the map. After you destroy the first one, do the same with the big guy but concentrate more on hitting him with rockets and cannons, use the rifles as well, they do do a lot of damange when you have direct hits.

Took me about 1hr to beat it. Beat it once and got S ranking. You dont have worry about the commander. By the time you're in the far right of the map, he wont be able to hit you.

I said fuck it and just walked right up to them with a mech full of heat seaking rockets, 2 hound missiles, and two short range multi-blast rockets. I tore the first guy up in two shots and then it was a battle down to the wire with the second guy. Unfortunately they only gave me an "A" rating so I'm going to have to do that battle all over again.

I updated the OP. You will be on starting tomorrow and every other day after that. Battle Royal is at 11:30pm CST, you can participate any day for that for the extra picks.

Lottery picks are found on the shop online under experimental and/or captured parts.
