ChromeHounds - Gen. Discussion & Info

I like having one Hostile CAG thread for all the games we are playing.

My only concern is the 20 player limit on Chromehounds. We are already a bit tight on space for the clan. I for one still want to play Hounds from time to time but the majority of my online activity for the near future will be GOW. I don't want to tie up a spot in the clan if there are newer players that will be playing Chromehounds more often than I will. I am cool with dropping out and getting added back into the clan as needed, but that is more work for Ramo.

As far as GOW goes, I had a fucking blast last night. Too bad all the achievements are for ranked matches only.

Yeah thanks, but she really was my girlfriend. I havent talked to her in a month so I figured it was officially over.

I know you can host ranked matches. If we can just jump into the match with the entire crew that could work. We would just have to search for it under the host name and be quick.

The only problem is that after you finish a ranked match you get kicked back to the menu. At least that is what happened when I tried one out yesterday. We would have to test this out.
 
Yeah, ranked matches dont send you back to the lobby. Also, the host can't kick people in ranked matches. we can try though.
 
If it doesn't work, maybe a future update will do the trick:

Actually, I believe it's MS policy that ranked games MUST involve random players...which sux for this game, as far as trying to get achievements with a group of friends is concerned. Although I'm all for a workaround if anyone finds one.
 
Alright, due to Fry's recent release-day sales on GOW, TH8, and COD3, I'm now officially broke. :)

Feel free to shoot me an invite if anyone wants to try TH/COD online as well...Lord knows I'll be available, since I won't be able to afford to go out for awhile!

Same here I will be playing single player or co-op with a buddy until about 11pm cst then I would love to play some multiplayer.
 
I should be on tonight. I was on last night but I was too focused on the Co-op campaign to see what I was being invited into. I finally finished the game on hardcore but the game cheated me on an achievement. Unless I have to be Dom or soemthing. But anyway I'll be available tonight for some MP jst invite me.

Shit, I'm down. I didn't check this yesterday. But depending on what the dates and times are I should be up for it.
 
Lets see if we can get a game going tonight to practice, with a focus not just on individual stats, but teamwork as a whole. I think we have an advantage because we have been played over 50 hours together.

I'm available tonite. Looks like the gameplay mode is execution (which I hate). If this is the case, it's important to stick together so that we can revive downed allies easier. Also, the sniper rules in this mode (since you don't need to "execute" with it), so it's vital that our best sniper player grabs this (I suck at sniping, btw).
 
Also, I invite EVERYONE in the clan who's interested in the tourney to join us for tonite's practice...I don't minding sending the best players from our group to the tourney (even if it means me sitting out or being an alternate)...HOSTILE CAG/COG FTW!!!

Looks like the match is set for this Sat...no time given yet. If its not really late at night, I might not be able to make it since I tend to go out on the weekends. Big Mes said he wasn't sure he could make it, it all depends on time so there might be a spot or two open. Since we're a big enough clan, maybe you can round of Max and other 2 for a 2nd match.
 
Yeah, Saturday is hit-or-miss for me also. We're probably going to need some extra folks as alternates, just in case.
 
I still haven't even finished campaign, but I should be on tonight for target practice. If you can't find any worthy alternates, I should be good to go.

Anyone want to start up a second Hostile CAG team?
 
Sorry for not joining yesterday starkweather but RX wants to play through the campaign with me and he has not really had the time to play lately with his work schedule.

It also looks like they moved the 1st round to Monday night the 27th. I should be able to play then without problems. I also will be on vacation all next week so I should be available to practice with you guys in the evenings. Plus get caught up on some gaming too!

Damn you guys must have no life :lol: I had fun getting worked by you guys for the brief time I was online. Hostile CAG will be well represented in the tourney. Looks like you have the teamwork down pretty well considering this game has only been out a fucking week.

I hope to be on for target practice on Thursday if I can get the kid asleep at a decent hour.

Personal level of victory - I am ashamed to say I finally beat the game on casual and quickly ran through Act I on hardcore.

No I haven't finished it yet. I actually haven't played it since that day, aside from last nights MP matches. I don't know what time I'll be on but if you see me send me a message that you want to play and I'll start the co-op mission up.
 
Good games last nite, everyone...I had alot of fun, even though I was stinking up the place. You really have to have a different mentality when playing Execution compared to Warzone.

Anyways, I'll be on tonite if anyone wants to do it again.

You guys playing GoW as late as we did Chromehounds? Work has just been rediculous (black friday + retail job) lately, but I'll try and be on later tonight for a few hours at least.

Sorry about yesterday but I am still helping two friends finish the campaign. One on insane and the other on hardcore.

We are almost done with the hardcore campaign. We just got about half of Act 4 and then 5 left. Then we can start practicing. I just promised her I would help and I can't let my girl down.

No nothing happened, we just played games for fun. Hostile COG was representing, it was CheapyD, DrStarkweather, Toper331 and me. We had some communications issues, appearently some games get a glitch where if you join a match in progress or some thing like that, you can hear them but they can't hear you...It was still a blast though, CheapyD and Dr.Starkweather kicked ass. I sucked at first but the last game I got 6 kills :D
