Huh? I had no problems using it and wasn't slow for me. I just selected DS and it shows every announced DS game. Order them by release date and check to see if any aren't on your list.
For fun, how about someone posting a list of all the PSP games to compare... :D

Dane.

(P.S. I don't care about the PSP enough to do it myself.)
Well, there were around 75 PSP games about a month ago or so, so given that it came out later than the DS, the number of titles is pretty comparible. It seems like the PSP will eventually pass up the DS in library size with the rate PSP games are coming out this spring.

Edit: Now that I look at the release lists again, the PSP looks like it will be surpassing the DS for number of titles pretty quickly here. There's 6 PSP games coming out next week alone compared to 3 for the DS. In March, the DS is only scheduled to have 5 games released while the PSP is slated for 20! The PSP library is going to dwarf the size of the DS library shortly.

But how many of those 20 PSP games are really worth playing?

(Not trying to be smart, I'm actually wondering)

It looks to be a lot of them (at least for me):

Here's the full lists to compare:

PSP:
World Poker Tour
Spongebob Yellow Avenger
Pursuit Force
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai
Samurai Warriors: State Of War
Worms
Mega Man Powered Up
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Neopets: Petpet Adventure
From Russia With Love
Brothers In Arms
Kao Challengers
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (This is pushed back)
Daxter
Astonishia Story
Me & My Katamari
NBA Ballers Rebound
Viewtiful Joe VFX Battle
Untold Legends 2
Metal Gear Acid 2

DS:
Pokemon Trozei
Ice Age 2
Metroid Prime Hunters
Tetris
Tao's Adventure

I think we are starting to see the same trend we see with all of the most recent Nintendo platforms (that have had competition): third party support is starting to lag behind.

Don't forget Top Gun DS!

Other than third party support, which is certainly there, the DS isn't powerful enough to handle (or make worthwhile) ports or sequels of console franchises like the PSP is, for the most part:

From Russia With Love
Brothers in Arms
Splinter Cell
Viewtiful Joe VFX
etc

Rather than extending existing games, developers are having to come up with new games to put on the DS. Not a problem that I can see... just won't be as many games.

I was just lifting the lists off of EB games, so Top Gun wasn't on there. Regardless, yeah, I don't see any problem for me as a gamer with the DS having fewer games. I just wanted to show that the misconception that the PSP doesn't have any games is wrong. It was a rough start (much like the DS), but developers (especially Capcom) are starting to figure out what kind of games people want on the PSP.

Oh, wow, that's a pretty awesome lineup of games for the PSP.

I have to say, I'm starting to want a PSP a little more.

of course, all release dates are subject to change, and most likely will. many games will get pushed back or canceled, and a few will likely get added as well. it's really just easiest to keep track of the games that are already out, rather than trying to predict the future.

Most of the PSP's games are crap though. Yeah, there's Tales of Eternia and the MGA games, and Capcom's putting some awesome stuff on the system, but the vast majority of the games are complete garbage.

The same could actually be said about the DS games as well though. There are a lot of crap DS games out there, practically a whole year's worth before they started getting good.
