Component cables...

Is it worth getting component cables for my ps2? I just got one and was wondering if I should grab some component cables off ebay or something. Is anyone here selling some?

Yes. it's worth it, especially for games that support progressive scan (assuming your TV supports that too).

I noticed a nice improvement over svideo. Colors are much more vibrant and crisp.

I have a 26" LCD TV that does indeed support everything up to 1080i.

I got mine and it does indeed notice a difference....I used to use composite until the cables died and then I noticed my TV had component connection....

Cool I think the component cable will go nice with the fibre optic cable Im using for audio

Most PS2 games do not support progressive scan, however image clarity is greatly improved even at just 480i.

Well I bought some component cables off ebay for $10 should be here this week or next.

A heads up, there is a decent chance black bars will appear on the sides of the screen, so the image will not completely fill the screen. Maybe 1/4" wide, depending on the tv.

I'd pick up one for my PS2 last week from circuit city.

Some games looks great while others were kind of weak.

Still i found the picture quality to be better then when i was useing composite.

So i'll say thumbs up in my book.
