Had noticed this game was in my Gold Box Quick Picks deals at $46.99 and it suddenly just dropped to $37.99, so I checked and Amazon's dropped the price to $39.99. Not sure if it's an MSRP drop or if Amazon made a mistake or if this is just a nice sale to drum up support after Excitebots had a dismal launch.

Pretty good so far. I don't think I like it as well as the original, but it's certainly better than any boxing game I've played since then.

One problem with the control is it doesn't support the classic controller (I tried), and the d-pad on that thing is too small. Makes me dodge or do the wrong move sometimes, so the control isn't as tight as it could be.
 
Haven't tried my copy yet, but I was blown away reading reviews saying the classic controller wasn't supported. Massive WTF moment, Nintendo.
 
Yeah, I don't get it since it seems like it should be trivial to support. I was expecting it to work when I plugged it in.

Also (less annoying) for some reason it forces you to use the infrared camera to do menu selections, versus just selecting them with the pad.

I'm going to start in again after I eat lunch. Hopefully I'm not already stuck :D They've remixed the order of some of the fights, which is kind of fun.
