they just posted a message on the RZ Gamer Club twitter account that the coupons will be put up today, but they gave no time frame of the exact time they will be posted

it also looks like they will be putting up a new Silent Hill coupon because of the whole issue with the last one

I'm lucky that I picked it up in trade for a complete MGS 4 I traded off a while ago. Saint's Row 2 is everything that GTA IV should've been with more side missions, base jumping and all sorts of other good stuff in it.

The graphics may not be 'zomg realistic' in it, but who cares...it's a fun game.:D

If my local BB had any of it for the PS3 in stock, I'd probably pick up one to give to my buddy for Christmas, though he played my copy all the way through.

If you have a HWV by you that did the $5 game sale last time, irishsoccermbw, you should check there on Thursday as the $5 sale is going on again and I believe SR 2 qualifies for it for both PS3 and 360.

Yup, same here. I already have the 360 version, but my brother just got a PS3 during Black Friday, so if I could score two PS3 copies for us it would be something that we could play online together. Here's hoping . . .

I was thinking the same thing. Although the PC version should have a valid coupon sometime today. I was thinking the lines have gotten crossed on which version, with what coupon and valid coupon dates.
 
How likely do you guys think it'll be that a GOTY version of SR2 will be released (which includes all the DL content released thus far) and sold for a GH price of $30?

They'll know you paid $0 for the PS3 SR2 assuming you did get it because that's how it'll come out on the receipt.

Oh, haha, you're right . . . it had been a few days since I had actually looked at the OP, so I just got caught up in the excitement. There are several things I'm hoping to grab in the 12/21 offers, but nothing in the immediate ones that I'm all that interested in. Oh well, need a little more time to burn through some of my backlog anyway . . .
 
Well the magazine was a no go at my local bby also but the CSR told me he knew of the deal for 10 dollars off GH: SH and I would have no problem coming back with the coupon to get the deal. I picked up a copy for GH: SH :ps3: and will return before it expires.
 
I bet it's just one guy who works at Best Buy corporate that is in charge of these coupons and he's probably called in sick or Minnesota had a huge snowfall and he couldn't get out of his driveway or something.

Nope, these deals are always system specific. In this particular case, the 360 version is not included in the deal.

To those of you wondering where the coupons are, I just got off the phone with the RZ silver desk, and they told me that they are having a pretty significant website problem, and that coupons should be up sometime in the next 24 hours.

Interesting how their significant website problem didn't prevent the removal of the existing Gamers Club special offers, just the posting of new offers.
 
Yeah , I was hoping the coupons would be posted, I'm shopping next to the BB and hoping it would go up in tie next few lol, otherwise I'll purchase and then I'll pick up dead space when I do the rehiy in the process

Assuming you're talking about the Saints Row 2 price, that coupon doesn't go live for 2 more weeks, and I'm pretty sure they know what their prices are.

I'm guessing BB knows they fucked up, and are letting people buy them up at regular price as much as possible. I'm guessing these coupons don't hit until thursday/friday.
 
I heard Best Buy is giving out coupons if you mail them a certified piece-mail before the coupon expires. But you have to wait 4-6 weeks for the coupon to process

Yeah, they've got it all figured out. That's why they're putting SKUs on sale AND offering a coupon on them (that supposedly doesn't apply to sale items) the same week... :roll:

...or are they? Sorry if I've missed it, but what's the evidence that these are the planned coupon deals? Is Estebon one of CAG's BB insiders? Speedy's protege?
 
At Bestbuy, they have books for video games that show that months upcoming deals. Thats where the info came from. This is not the first thread of it's kind. They have had these threads for november, october and so on.
