Bah. I tried to solo the full Crota raid by myself just for the challenge. For whatever reason I couldn't time my sword strikes very well which was driving me mad. Then after the reset I came to the conclusion that my right trigger button on my original controller has been worn out from playing too much Destiny.  :joystick:

Time wasted with Destiny: 5 weeks 3 days 17 hours 58 minutes 46 seconds

Deleted characters only (1) - 17 minutes 3 seconds

 
Thanks for the Nightfall help, 7. Sorry I had to bolt so quick but the kids were begging for lunch.

(My son got his Pocket Infinity bounty done, compared it to his upgraded Light of the Abyss, and you could visibly see the disappointment on his face. Welcome to Destiny, my boy.)

Damn, forgot I needed PS+ to play MP in this game.  I don't game much on PS so never really looked for a PSN deal when mine expired a couple months ago.  Anyone seen any good deals on PS+ lately?

Deleted characters only 3 weeks 6 days 17 hours 18 minutes 25 seconds

Ive made a character in 2 days, ran nightfall, crota, then deleted them and made a new one. LOL those were the days. Made 3 in one week once. I really wish i kept my first warlock. I still have my first hunter, and my titan is my 2nd version. My warlock is like my 3rd version i think. The ones i made in between were just to run nightfalls and crota then delete.

Nightfalls i got a Suros Regime, Garbage ass sniper, Garbage ass scout rifle. Also leveled up FWC and Dead Orbit and got motes and strange coins.

Leveled up New Monarchy and got a second Nefertiti AK shader. Why couldnt it be the ship or the shader i needed.

Mine broke too. I think its common. You can get replacement triggers on amazon in a five pack for like 5 bucks.

scope: red dot-oes

first: Outlaw, feeding frenzy, or third eye

second: braced frame to max out stability

third: hidden hand, or rangefinder

Sweet, did maybe 10-15 rolls and got Red Dot Oes, Feeding Frenzy, Braced Frame, and Hidden Hand. :) Thanks Jimmy!

Very nice!

I just did a handful of strikes. I got another WASTE-lander V2V launcher and the 20/20 AMR7 sniper rifle. I just need the Hopscotch now for the love of RNGesus. Finished one NF ended up with 12 coins. This game.

I've done about 10 Dragon strikes over Sunday & Monday.  Got served up the same 3 strikes over and over: 5 Taniks, 3 Dust Palace and 2 Sepiks Prime.

But gotta grind if I'm gonna get the Hopscotch.

Also made a quick pass at trials last night and failed once again.  Best run was to 5 wins before the spiders stopped spitting out the interwebz.

The lighthouse is just something you guys made up as far as I'm concerned.

I'll do the usual NF/Heroic runs tonight, so if you see me on just join up.  And if there's time we can try some more Black Hammer runs. (I've decided I want it even with the incoming nerfs)

If you're on PS3 join Acid for Blood, we a few active peeps.

If you're on PS4, still join and we'll just 2-man the crota raid.

 
just got a praxic fire 162 disc from poe using my hunter, what?

Wow i forgot my praxic fire was in the post master, did a bunch of strikes and it was pushed out. It was +15 better than my old one too. :(

I got a lucky raspberry with 163 intellect good for trials I think...I'm just getting into it. I hate/love it. I want that autorifle...

Other drops were a worse obsidian mind and a vanguard scout rifle.

Hopefully I'll make it for VOG wednesday.

Still need new hunter boots, ram, and gjallyhoohoo...in 10 years I'm going to be the only guy on the forums without one.

Nightfall was fine 2 man just make sure you have some elemental primary (dont bother with void as nothing has void shields). Didnt even come close to a wipe at all. Everything melted like buttah. We snagged a scortch cannon just by luck passing through the skywatch. It did 40k on omnigul.

Never had Plan C drop before. So of course, after buying it from Xur recently, I had 2 more drop last night.

2 Nightfalls: Plan C, Peregrine Greaves

Crota Normal x2(kai): Black Hammer, Swordbreaker (first of each), Plan C, raid armor pieces
 
(can't find a dedicated thread so I'll ask here)

Just got a copy of Arkham Knight. Never played Asylum or the sequel (City?). Is it vital to have played the other 2 games before? Or is there ea recap or something at the beginning of Knight? 

Or should I just start the Witcher 3?

I dont think its vital, but there may be a few occurrences that come up that you dont get. I dont know if you have PS+ but both Asylum and City were free within the last year so if you do have those then there isnt any reason not to play those first. All the games play similar, just knight has a lot more batmobile obviously, maybe a little too much for my taste.

It would be better if you've played at least BA city because there are clear references all over the game, I strongly recommend you playing them both as they are some of the best games from last gen, but if you don't own a PS3 try watching one of those short version video to at least know what is going on.

Yeah I feel exactly the same, the fact that the game is so heavily oriented towards the use of the batmobile I don't like so much, specially in the riddler riddles parts. though the game is still one of the best games of this year!

I loved the first game...not too into city so far...I found all the clues in the first game and did everything except a few trophies without even trying to get trophies.

Witcher 3 is going to take you a loooong looong time, so I would say go Batman if you can, and also if you haven't played Witcher 1 & 2 look for a recap video on youtube

(have batman AA on PS3 and 360, have ACity on PS3, have witcher 1 on Mac, Witcher 2 on Mac and 360)

(I have serious backlog problems)

Asylum now, Witcher once the kids are back in school.

Good choice on Asylum.  Still my favorite Batman game.

City was to unfocused for me.  It was more about giving you a whole mess of crap to do as Batman, but not very entertaining.  And from what I've heard, Knight is more like City than Asylum... so I'm just gonna hold off 'til later on that game.

Destiny-wise, got my 3 NF's done

-2 exotic shards (Plan C & Dragons Breath) and some useless legendary

Nothing special from the Heroics or the PoE32's I ran.

Im ranked 145. Also it tells me i had 43 deleted characters. Didnt even think i made that many. O_O

IDK man this site is weird, yesterday i had a couple weeks on jimmy, now this site is saying he has more hours than i do. Unless it counts sitting in orbit and stuff.

BaltimoreDude has played just under 20 weeks of Destiny (almost 5 months worth). That game hasn't even been out a full year yet...

I only have 107 hours. I feel much better about my own life

I think i know why i made 43 deleted characters.... its from all those times i made a character, did the first mission, and didnt like what they looked like when i finally got to the tower. So i deleted them and changed their look up a bit. LOL

It looks like you joined the Acid For Blood "group", you just need to set it as your PSN clan now (can be done on the Bungie.net site as well).

Do that and you will be good to go.

FYI: Bungie did this so people could join multiple "groups" to keep in touch w/ other clans, but you can only select one PSN clan specifically (the one that will display a clan tag, in our case "ACID").

HEY!

Did you forget that Gjallarhorn is a requirement!?!? How else are we suppose to determine someone's skill in Destiny?
