I just realized I dont have the IB ship...you have to get to rank 5 and keep playing to get it right?

Jem i think its rank 3 before you start getting IB rewards.

Knocked out all 3 NF runs. Got a couple exotics which were sharded.

Then hopped into IB and so far so good. Lag was fine for most matches and Hopscotch held it's own.

Actually, noticed more people using pulse rifles this time around, instead of thorns. Anyway hit 2 1/4 on my titan

Picked up MCC and couldn't believe how slow it all felt. Haven't been able to go back.

 
So far everyone who has gotten the ship that I've talked to claims it dropped after level 5. Anyone here remember getting it before they were rank 5?

That's what I thought too. Hard to beat my Armamentarium/Wings on my Titan, Praxic on the Lock (Ram once I get it) and most of the year one helmets from the Hunter.

I have $10 in certs from BB, but still want to hold off. Some friends were talking about the new COD and how awesome it is last night. It sounds like Activision combined Titan Fall & Destiny elements for the game
 
The stream was okay. Strike looked interesting and the boss battle looked better than just a bullet sponge. But looking at the new map area looked like the same old 4 story missions, 2 strikes, 1 raid. But this time they are selling it for twice the price. Subclasses did look cool. I was going to start with the warlock, but hunter does look pretty cool. Since im usually at the top of the list when i play normal pvp, i might be better off being a class that can help my team. But i think overall the titan looks like the coolest class, and i do love playing as a titan. Seeing that he has a solar shoulder charge, pair that up with fusion grenades, seems like a great way to play rumble. :D

And even Reach has that AWFUL cheap grainy motion "blur", which is just so fugly.

On-topic: IB was silky smooth....well...I mean we won every game by a large margin. That's what silky smooth is. Yes.

I wasn't sold on the BO3 beta... I don't know if it was just me but I felt it was really slow (I liked how frenetic movement AW was) the grenade trow distance was ridiculous and neither the weapons nor the specials were anything attractive... the mid sized maps where meh for me, I felt they didn't have any good shocking points leaving everyone just running around looking for like mad ants, it was like cod Ghost all over again!

I'll stick to Destiny and probably will jump to Halo 5 once it drops.

 
So I just thought of something...what happens to our current class items when TTK drops? Are they just going to be useless and cosmetic only since the way we gain faction rep is changing? I really like my Trials cloak and I'll be sad to see it go.

We can still wear the class item but pretty sure they're just cosmetic now. Though I'm guessing they'll still have special rules for IB class items

Honestly I can't play COD after playing Destiny and honestly the new one looks like Destiny with wall running.

Sliding (check)

Power move with L1 + R1 (check)

double jump / floaty jump (check)

In honesty I can't play any other shooter without feeling that I would rather be playing Destiny.

 
Planet Destiny uploaded their playthrough of the first mission in TTK, without cutscenes. It looks pretty good. I like the sound of Nolanbot, he's close enough to Dinklebot that it's not too jarring, but still puts his own twist on it.

 
Yeah, I wanted to like that Black Ops III beta so badly. But the gameplay just kinda sucked. The grenade throw distance was ridiculously short and the boost/wall running stuff seemed very clunky and poorly done when compared to Titanfall.

Works well, I think the DS4's sticks are more responsive than the DS3. That plus the game running generally smoother + higher resolution (ie: better target acquisition), makes crucible like taking MORE candy from an even babier....baby. Or something.

Hilarious to see Destiny showing "no voice due to NAT issues" while we we're all still chatting away unhindered within the PSN party chat. Confirms that Destiny was the issue before on PS3.

Is there an "official" CAG Destiny clan? I'm not planning on leaving mine anytime soon, but I figure there might be interest in "associating" the two groups, or w/e Bungie calls it.

Yeah the load screens are also better on the PS4 than PS3. You'll see the NAT issue creep here and there, but usually leaving and joining the part a couple times helps.

There is an "official" clan DGD ran by this guy named Gavin (aka 7th) who never wears the Hunter's dance machines off.

Can someone school me on why we are waiting to leave our factions to the next level until TTK? I know there must be a good reason but I feel like I've missed it.

The logic is that holding off on leveling up our faction until TTK will provide us with several new (ie TTK) legendaries at the start of The Taken King. In the past, any legendary engrams obtained prior to the launch of a new DLC would be time stamped and only provide old weapons/armor. Holding off would mean that the package was obtained after TTK's launch and would give a TTK weapon/armor.
 
That was FFLOVER he ran sword for us 3x cause he is MLG and got the crux twice in a row LOL.

He put up with us being idiots and did all the hard stuff so props to him. 

I got a 3rd plan C for my hunter from the gorgon chest cause destiny...and on my warlock shards pushed a radaghast fury out of the post office. Thanks destiny!

I had fun though so that's rad.

Yes its not a CAG raid if one of my random friends doesn't join the party.

WeKillOnsite was drunk and told a joke about the word of crota that I cant remember but it had something to do with jesus. I was just glad it was not another squeeker making me look like a pedoguardian.

Thats a little better jem. But that video... lol.

Im setting myself up for disaster. Leveled up my warlocks vanguard 4 points away from leveling up to rank 3, and i need to work on my crucible, so i cant wear a faction class item unless i want to waste rep from wins/losses. So i bet im going to accidentally level up vanguard in the near future.

On the last couple hits gives the sword to jimmy, backs out, changes character, comes back and spawns as a dead ghost. If anything went wrong at that point, he would go back out again get the hunter and start the whole thing again.

Then we start another run, tries to jump across the bridge with his Titan and dies multiple times xD

 
I'm trying to finish up Ground Zeroes on PS4. I got 100% on PS3 when it came out, but since I'm now getting MGS V on PS4, I need to do it again for whatever bonuses there might be.

I also have a few days off the week after MGS V and before TTK, so plenty of time to get through MGS.

I thought about taking TTK day off, but then I figured the content probably wouldn't unlock until 1PM EST like HoW. So really I'd just be sitting around in the morning twiddling my thumbs.

I am hoping that Bungie covers the timing in some detail before launch. I would like for it to unlock at midnight but I have a feeling it's going to be 1pm. Maybe since its "year 2" it being treated as a new game and will launch at 12 (would allow for store to do launch events, etc).
 
So what's everyone's plan for tackling the content? Do we need to find our threesomes before hand and plan times to start, or does everyone plan on doing everything solo first?

Oh, and I'm almost done with my Cipher, but Jr. got a Cipher last night and now his brother wants to do a 34 for a chance to get one....

What I'm saying is, if you want to do PoE, let me know.
