Dont worry about it. I have everything, except the bones of aeo so i dont mind not being a part of the raid groups. I understand you guys have your own group, and i dont want to mess that up. Im here only if you need extra guardians.

ALSO TTK Crucible match! Second match is the one where you get supers really quick. The game sounds pretty cool, i like the sound of the Solar Titan activating his super. And Halo gravity lifts are in the game! lol

You know out of all the news coming about TTK and stuff being discussed here the one thing that impresses me the most is how the fuck you still don't have the bones of aeo?!? Seems like a case of the Monte Carlo. Now that I wrote this you'll get them.

 
Nah man, you're not messing anything up. I'm not even saying you shouldn't have been included in the decision or anything like that. I was just basing kt on aho has played with the group the most plus who needs the loot most.

Anyhow, anyone need to do Nightfalls still? Tukai cancelled on me last week and I didn't get to play any (although 7th and Langdon offered but I was unavailable then). Since he also cancelled on me this past Tuesday, I have 3 left to do, and I don't want to miss out again.

Best part of Halo and am glad they are bringing it to destiny. I also love the fact that killstreaks show up on the kill feed. I remember that being taken out of COD and it was mildly infuriating.
 
That new mode looks pretty cool. From what that video showed, either the people playing were really not that great, or the new supers aren't extremely overpowered and can be stopped if you play safe and keep your distance. If only they'd make bladedancer work the same way.

 
I just wanted to echo the same sentiments from others earlier about Destiny. It's been a fun year one, especially with having a forum like this to interact with everyone here outside of the game. Everyone here is pretty damn cool. It's definitely made the game more enjoyable to have the community aspect as I probably would've dropped this game completely and moved on to my ever-expanding PC/PS4 backlog back in February. 

I haven't done a lot raiding or much of anything else with most of you guys here, but I'm usually up for anything if I'm on and if any alternates are needed for stuff. The only things still out of reach for me are getting a crux and completing a lvl 35 PoE, but I won't hold my breath. There are a few VoG and Crota weapons I haven't received but due to the news about year one legendary weapons becoming relics makes me not care about them as much now. 

So at this point with all the fun I had in year one and the new hype (that at least sounds promising) I think I'm most likely picking up TTK before launch. I like what I've heard/read so far and really look forward to the new additions.  :beer:

I still want to get the Vault of Glass and Crota weapons I don't have for my collection. The Crux as well. But otherwise, all I really need to do is beg Jimmy and 7th to magic me through Skolas and I'll have everything I need before the expansion.

All of the new stuff sounds awesome except for old legendaries becoming obsolete. The volume of content makes the price easier to swallow. The changes may be jarring at first, but they sound positive. Hopefully everything runs smoothly and the new story is memorable.

I've already put more hours into this game than any game in years.

That reminds me, i got 3 found verdicts on the same character last night. Crazy! LOL.

Im always down to help those who havent beat skolas. Jimmy and I have been able to beat him on the first try the last two times when helping Ignatia and Langdon beat him for their first time. The only thing is you cant just let us beat him for you, it really requires 3 players to defeat him, good communication, and team work.

We determined last night that Jimmy is a Bungie employee and he flagged my account for yelling at him the 1st time we met. He's the reason I am not getting a Gjallahorn.

 
Oh, and if there are any "Dance Guardian Dance" members who don't have the "Strength of the Pack" (clan member strike) trophy, give me a shout. I still don't have that one.

You have to help!? if I'm gonna get carried I wanna be carried good! I can unload some Ghorn rockets from time to time and maybe pass up the disease but that's it!

  • Factions have bounties and rewards as you pledge allegiance
  • Classes have many specific items, including weapons
  • New footage being shown from first mission - this was on Phobos which will not be a playable area outside of the mission so no patrols there
  • The Dreadnaught is home to patrols, strikes, raid, bounties, Court of Oryx (player instigated public event) - no mention of taking more than three into patrol
  • Raid difficulty not revealed at this time
  • Playing the game increases your level - clarification - your level, the actual level number you are, is no longer tied to light. Your level will increase by playing the game, earning XP, completing bounties, ect. It's a more traditional leveling mechanic.
  • Your light is how powerful you are - for clarification, it sounds like light will now be tied to your attack and defense and not necessarily what level you are. Light will also come from armor, weapons, class items and ghosts
  • You will enter Taken King at the light level you have currently obtained
  • Every player gets a boost consumable to bring you up to Taken King level - will be available in the tower
  • Crucible gameplay being shown as well - fusion rifles were shown doing crit damage, auto rifles look powerful again
  • They want you to focus on the story and the game, not how to hit max level
  • End game crucible drop gave several rewards
  • Year one weapons will still be relevant...for old content and Crucible
  • Lots of talk about the new weapons and their customization options - customization seems to be a theme they want for weapons so we aren't all running around with the same handful of guns
  • Two Titan hammers destroys a bubble in gameplay
  • Their goal is to create weapons and gear that are better or more fun than our year one gear
  • "If there is any one item or weapon that you choose every time, they would like to provoke us to think more about our loadout" "Destiny should not be Gjallarhorn simulator"

I can help people with Skolas if needed as well. It's not too bad as long as everyone communicates. I also decided it's finally time to get flawless raider done and collect the ghosts for the platinum, so if anyone wants to go for a flawless run on Crota let me know

But...end game content will undoubtedly be level 41. So if we want to play it, we have to focus on hitting the max level.

Isn't that achievable in PoE as well? Either way, I'd be willing to run through a strike to help you get that.

Found Verdict is one Vault weapon I don't have. The others are Corrective Measure and Hezen Vengeance. Not sure on Crota weapons exactly, but there are at least 2 I don't have.

I'm willing to actually contribute and communicate for Skolas, of course. But I can't promise I won't still suck at it. I'm worried about Lightswitch this week but would still try it if you want. Not sure when you and Jimmy might be available and interested in trying.
 
No, PoE will give you raid trophies, but doesn't count as a strike. (I got the Raiding Party trophy from a PoE)

This makes me wonder if you can get the Flawless Raider trophy from PoE 32. And if that's easier than Crota. (Nobody gets it from VoG, right?)

Hopscotch and Black Hammer are 2 guns that I'm still willing to hunt down, even with the planned obsolescence.

Plus there's still a fuzzy detail floating out there about sacrificing a piece of gear to increase another (like sacrificing a legendary sniper to make another better, or something like that). So until that gets cleared up, I'll be holding onto all my fav legendaries

We went flawless on Poe 32 and we didnt get the trophy. It only works as beating a raid as a clan i think. We had to do crota to get flawless which wasnt that hard. The 2nd bridge was the most time consuming part due to us cheesing it.

 
Nope... you're not the only one without it.

I'm up to 40-50 strikes and have yet to get HP.  Seen some people say it took them over 150 before they got one.

It seriously took me 106 strikes before a Hopscotch finally dropped and then I immediately stopped doing them. Cold turkey. On the one bright side I have tons of weapon parts and I was able to use the HipHopScotch during IB which was a lot of fun. I even used an etheric light to max it out which I felt I kind of needed to after putting so much time into obtaining one. It's worth getting if you like the crucible and IB.

What did I tell you. Me pointing out your lack of x or y item triggers you getting that item said week (either that or jimmy finally felt sorry for you and added it to the this week's stock for Xur)

 
Bones were the last of the new exotics that I needed. Still can't get 4th Horsemen or Monte Carlo to drop for me. I've had the Ghorn drop 4 times, but I can't get either of those to pop for me. It took me a longtime to get Hawkmoon too. I used to just pretend I played on Xbox.

Ive gotten 2 monte carlo's now, both from crota boss fight. Might want to try there if you havent been.

I think the 4th Horseman is like the hardest exotic to get. I almost never see it drop.
