DS Sleep Mode When Playing GBA Games?

Is it possible? It's so nice to play the DS at work since I can close it up at any time, but is there anyway to do this while playing a GBA game?

As far as I know there is not a way. You can close it but it doesnt suspend it or anything

Many GBA games do have a sleep mode feature though. Usually by pressing the L&R buttons at the same time. Check individual game manuals.

For a couple Nintendo games I think it's Select+L+R.

Yeah... and I think some pop up the option to use sleep mode when you pause 'em too.

GBA games with sleep mode only turns off the screen so it'll drain the battery more than DS' sleep mode. Oh and some GBA games will freeze if you plug in the power adapter while game is running. It rarely happens but something to keep in mind of.

Man, I wish GBA games supported sleep mode, it would make my DS the choice for GBA games without question. Sleep mode is probably my favorite feature of the DS, it makes it so easy to just play for a few minutes and put it away as needed.

Wow... That's crappy. I've never heard of that happening.
