Well, the money I woulda spent on that, I used to buy a pair of pants. Cause, really, who DOESN'T need pants?
E is for pants.

Nobody round these parts is a fan of pants.
E is for pants.

I'm not a big fan of shorts, I like a good pair of black denim jeans.
There were none here either, but hopefully my fatal frame 3 from TRU will sell soon. Roufuss gets a thumbs up for that one too. :)
Which one is yours? I didn't realize all the other cheap ones sold so mine should go soon... I've got it at $34.99 right now, cheapest one up there, I just want to be rid of it.

gawd this sucks. the car accident was on Nov 6 and the back pain is still so bad that it leaves me short of breath when it starts spasming. tomorrow i get to go see the orthopedist that specializes in back injuries. lionhart is affraid he's going to say my back pain can only be relieved by having a breast reduction.
$74.99 seems like alot of cash but I put a TON of effort and 10 or so K-Mart's to even find a second one.

I was gone from 1 pm - 11:30 pm looking for deals... believe me, I put in more work at this than I ever have a real job, and I'm getting burnt out.
I totally hear ya.

Thankfully I haven't put that much time into it (mostly because I've been so blasted busy with real Christmas shopping (ie, not for me) and all that. But I'd say over the past three or four days I've spent about six hours total driving simply going out of my way to scout Kmarts for games I can't not buy at their clearance prices, for games to trade into Rhino, and for driving way the heck out there to actually trade at the two Rhinos which are less than 100 miles from here.

Any career prospects, Roufuss?

mine's over on half. $39.99.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to get used to that for the rest of your life. My car accident was three years ago and there are still days when my back is just killing me... today is one of those days.

Any day when I have to sit in the car and drive for long hours at a time. It really sucks.

I never rode a rollercoaster in my life and now I never can.
You know what is good for back pain? Classic holiday poem parodies.
Interesting. My friend is an RN and an MSN. She works in the ER at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC and is the trauma nurse supervisor. I asked her if she knew any "alternative" remedies for back/neck pain. She said, "blow jobs."
Unfortunately, you're going to have to get used to that for the rest of your life.
This pain, i could not live with for the rest of my life. It's incapacitating, violent stabbing pain. It keeps me awake most nights, even with fairly decent doses of muscle relaxers and good pain killers.

I'm about to get a life ban from Rhino, I think... they are starting to realize I'm dumping the same two games over and over and over.

I need Tiger Woods 2007 like you wouldn't believe, so tommorrow morning when the employees are different, I'm dumping the same two games again.

Career prospects as in, a real career? I want to do criminal Psychology, but I have a long ways to go before getting a degree in anything. A friend of mine who is seeing a court appointed therapist now mentioned that his Dr. really needs people to work in his office, and that his Dr. really likes him and he'll put it in a really good word for me.

Right now, anything that is a stable M-F job, hopefullly an office of some sort, is good enough for me. I've been using Ebay to get by while I busted my ass in school these last few months, and I think it's finally paying off.

The problem is, EVERYONE is doing Ebay these days and it's starting to be a mental burden and more trouble than it's worth always having to be one step ahead of everyone. Of course, it's also good so I can help my friends get awesome deals on shit... one of my friends flipped out when I got her Fatal Frame 3 for $10 since she loves the series.

But career goals... I think I've got a long ways to go still before I can have a career. I'm just happy that, for once, I'm focused and seem to be on the right path.

I would not be a good test subject for this. I imagine I would only further infuriate all throats involved.

True. I'd imagine lobsters would irritate just about any throat.

i assumed that in general. i don't see how contorting your neck at inhuman angles for prolonged periods of time would be beneficial to healing a neck/back injury.

That could be seriously nice if it happens, Roufuss.

Even basic office work is light years better than dealing with retail or food service. I'm always grateful for the people working in stores, and I know it can be so horrible from customers, co workers and higher ups...

The good news is you're doing well in school right? That'll pay in the end. It just suxors right now, I'm sure.

Back pains really suck. I suffer from back spasms of and on. Normally it is something that is agrivated this time of year due to basketball. I went all year without problems then a few weeks ago on the basketball court all I did was go up for a rebound and when coming down my back just went out. Not a pain where I fell to the floor, just like a someone just punched me in the kidney ouch and I hunched over. Then standing up straight becomes a pain.

I didn't get much sleep that night.

It has something to do with the muscles and I don't think there is really much that can be done about it.

Gears of War was even better the second time. Hopefully insane isn't as difficult as people are making it out to be. Hardcore wasn't too bad except for a few spots, and RAAM was pretty pretty easy (took me 5 times, though one time we killed each other at the same time).

Oh, well, I'm pretty much done with school right now... I'm just one credit away from my AA which is an easy two weekend class in basic computer learning. Like learning how to surf the internet and stuff. Fun!

I really wish you'd get AIM =/

My gf is officially 24, now. Of course, she's already asleep, but I left her a message. Maybe you just need to work on your technique.

I have to agree with you there (although I'm still in my second playthrough).
I have to agree with you there (although I'm still in my second playthrough).
I need to finish my second play through as well.
I beat it on casual and started on insane (Beat Act I and Raam, wierd, I know), but its finals week now (for me, after everyone else has finished theirs), so it'll have to wait  .

I need to make a sad smilieface... but I don't think I could make it sad enough for how that picture makes me feel.
fix'd
Now that wasn't nice at all.

1/4 pages done in my essay in the last hour...I've been working on it all weekend.
Nothing like last minute panic as a motivator.

Thanks man, Washington got hit with a pretty bad storm. I'm hoping that I'll have power back on by tomorrow, until then I'll have to wait to get some gaming in.

Finished watching the first half of The Office season 2. Time for bed.

Just stay safe. Drive safe, and don't do stupid things like have a fire in an unvented house to stay warm. Not that you would, but there are some folks who don't realize the hazards.
What if I don't want to read post 46... what if I want to read... post 47? ;)
Then I will kill you for two reasons.

1) You miss out on a good post.

2) Because you are not obeying orders of the OTT captain.

So... how does one kill an immortal?

(And don't got into that Highlander theory of knocking my head off... won't work)

I don't think there's a blade long and sharp enough to get through that cabeza.

Reason 3: Post 46 directly concerns you.

Don't worry. I'll be found in perfect condition in 1,000 years or so. So I can thank you for sending me to the future very quickly. Flying cars my friend... I can finally experience FLYING CARS. :D
