But wouldn't that kill more dolphins?
More dead commies is always a good thing.
Don't worry. I'll be found in perfect condition in 1,000 years or so. So I can thank you for sending me to the future very quickly. Flying cars my friend... I can finally experience FLYING CARS. :D
I'll be ruler of the world, universe, your mom, and even Vermont by then. And I will make you a spectacle for all to see.

I'll hand it to you Strell. You got a good imagination. Hopefully one day you'll put that to good use and make some money. :D

Post 46 is proof of this. You will not be disappointed.

Only if you promise not to make a spectacle of me in the future then I just *might* read post 46.

Agreed. The Noblonian race can find something else to entertain themselves with. Like Jupiter. We'll have colonized it by then with nothing but drunk children who totally have no sense of right or wrong.

Told ya. Glad you enjoyed it 'a course.

It actually inspired me for what I'm doing for the VGCats.com comic contest. Originally I had a completely different joke, then I wrote that post, so now I'm doing a Grinch parody for it as well.
28:1 shot at being able to order a wii from amazon tomorrow...
Those odds aren't so bad. I got my fingers crossed that I'll be able to order one as well.
Man, I had a dream that I owed Circuit City $60K from some sort of credit scam they were pulling. How random
Did you buy the extended warrinty?

Last week of work for me. Damn good thing too man. It's a fun job but I've been getting fucked up recently. Between me messing around and just the wear and tear of working there, it's going to be a rough week to say the least. Gotta pick classes too, fast. I am dreading going back to school but have decided I'd rather do that than work.

HAHA!

You know how when you get hit with a computer when you call a company but you can get quick service by swearing? Well I was swearing quite loudly to the crappy music that Barnes & Nobel was playing for a good 10 minutes and I got nothing but I said queef (sp?) and was imediatly connected to a REAL person and they were in America. Odd morning for me.

... No?
... No?
Yeah, just start swearing to get connected quicker. There was a site/database that ran down all the words they look for on certain customer rep numbers.

Final grades came in... I must have rocked a 100 on that Astronomy test I think... I will never know!

Statistics - B
Abnormal Psychology - B
Social Problems - B
Astronomy - B (how the hell did I pull this off, I went into the class with a 75 average?!?)
Astronomy Lab - C (yay I passed, that's with skipping two labs and getting 0's)

USF is pretty much a lock at this point, my cumulative GPA is 2.6 (need a 2.5 to get in) but it's only so low because of classes 4 years ago I took when I didn't care which fucked up my GPA. The last two years I've gotten nothing but A's, B's, and I guess now one C (that is only worth one credit anyways).

I'm borderline but I'm confident I'll end up with the 2.9 needed to declare business.
Note to self.

Never go to the post office on the Monday before Xmas. :wall::wall: :wall:
Hooray for Paypal labels and an awesome post office delivery guy who will take my two packages for me ;)

No such luck for me.

The PO guy at my work hates picking up anything but letters, so that's a no-go.

Most of the stuff I ship is too big to fit in my mailbox, and I'd rather not leave it on my front door.

So, it's off to the PO I go, which thankfully is on the way to work. And two of the items I had to ship were too big for flat-rate boxes, and were too big/heavy for my postal scale, so I had to deal with it there.

Fun, it wasn't. Though, I think that's it for me until post-Xmas.
fuck, I have to today :(
I went to a UPS Store, and for only about $2 more than it would've cost me at the post office, I had no line, no obnoxious gov't employees and speedier delivery.

My PO guy is getting a christmas card with some $$$ from me for doing an awesome job.
My PO guy is getting a christmas card with some $$$ from me for doing an awesome job.
instead of giving cash, i'm doing what my aunt does. She buys each of the nieces/nephews ~$20 worth of lotto tickets, in assorted varieties. I mean the $20 is always nice, but one year a niece (unfortunately, not me) won like $500. It provides both short term entertainment and the potential of winning a couple bucks. I'll be giving that type of gift to the mail man, the dunkin donuts girl who always makes my coffee right and has it ready when she sees me walking in the door, and the security guards at my office (they never ticketed /towed my car me even though i chronically forgot my parking permit for a while.

I hate playing Gears of War by myself. There's some real assholes on there.

I'd play with you but when I went to go get a Live subscription at best buy today NHL 2k7 on sale for 40 bucks caught my eye so I'm without Live for the time being. Plus I'm an asshole anyway.

Er, well, fuck.

That was supposed to be "something" not "someone". :wall:

Xmas presents.
how do i go about calling a number with an extension? Do I just dial all the numbers?
Dial the main number and you should be presented with either automated instructions to punch in the extension or a person. If you get a person just say "Extension 555 please." If you get a machine, but no instructions to transfer to an extension, try hitting # or 0 or just hitting the extension.

If that doesn't work then I guess you could try all of the numbers but I don't think that's how it works.

You get something for your postal carrier and trash guy? Is that the social norm or are you just going out of your way to be nice?
You get something for your postal carrier and trash guy? Is that the social norm or are you just going out of your way to be nice?
well, it's not abnormal. if you're good to your trash guys, chances are they'll be good to you back. they'll take that massive pile of old furniture that they're not supposed to take, or they'll take that extra can of garbage without having the office hit you up with a surcharge.

as roofie said above, your mail man can make your like easy or diifficult. treat him well, and he might just save you a trip to the post office on the Monday before Christmas. worth it? i think so.

Since I moved, I've had an obscene amount of trash for pickup a few times as I've been pitching stuff post-move, and they've always picked it up without a complaint. For the postal carrier, same thing with a few bits of mail here and there.

Social norm? Depends on who you ask.
