I just got my Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Limited Edition (PS2) and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, from a CAG, in the mail.

I had no idea the Marc Ecko's LE was so damn massive / heavy. Comes with some cool stuff, too.

Also, I'm doomed again this year: I can't Christmas shop 'til Friday. ( Won't have any spending cash 'til then. ) :cry:
 
I am basically doing the gift card thing as well. Going to go to dillards and get one for my mom, cash for both my sisters, and a home depot gift card for my dad.

Since everyone aside from my dad has their birthday around Christmas I am just combining birthday and christmas. I didn't get my dad anything for his birthday since he never said anything he needed, so I got him a quilted flannel shirt to make up for it.
 
Who is paying $500 for these Bose Wave Radios? Now I see they are hawking a 3 disc changer that works with it for $250.

These can't be worth that much money, right?

I haven't even started Christmas shopping. Good thing I need one children's toy and a bottle of vodka. Yeah thats right, those are the only two things on my Christmas list and they are about as close to complete opposite as it gets.

Search for 'creative zen nano plus 1gb' on buy.com's main page and it will show you the list.

Anything $70 there would get you the $30 price AR and GCO. Buy's search is pretty crappy but if you mouse over the item it pops up with the status.
 
My mom calls me today. Wants to know if I want to Drive/ride with her best friend to pick up her husband in Piedras Negra, Mexico. He is a legal resident of this country he is in Mexico visiting family for Xmas.

Anyway, I was like sure I would love to go see the country. When is she going after news years? "No in about 4 hours."

The fuck, 4 hours! I need a passport, money, clothes, a cell phone charger, shots, medicine, idoine, water purifying tablets etc. I just can't go to Mexico you have to prepare for that.

Xmas isn't the problem mom.

I've seen way to many road trip movies from the 80's to know that it won't be a straight drive and back. However I told her friend that if she were to go again. I would like to go I just need to know ahead of time.But I can't go this time.

Hmm. Everything I find gives me fifty AR. I'm assuming this Google Checkout of which you speak subtracts another twenty?

My mom is hella hard to get gifts for so I talked to her and told her to tell me what 2 things (her birthday is on the 23rd) she needed or wanted for me to get her. Hopefully she tells me by tonight so I can go tomorrow morning and get them.
 
So the orthopedic surgeon said that i have a herniated disk. apparently, i have to get an MRI so they can tell how bad it really is.

In-store order them now, so you'll have them waiting for you when you go there tomorrow.

Plus, you get double RZ points on DVD purchases right now, so bonus for in-store pickup.

dude, first off, you don't need a passport yet, just a drivers license, maybe birth certificate. they have ATM's in mexico. shots? only if you're in guerrero, oxaca or farther south. water purifying tablets? please. drink beer or tequila, it's safer. i *moved* to mexico with 8 days notice.

Mine too. However it worked out well for me this year- she went to buy a cookie press to make cookies this year couldn't find it all over told. She was pretty bummed out, but it gave me a great christmas gift to buy her.

That and one of those Ove Glove oven mitts- hers suck. She burns herself. :lol:

DUDE I FELL FOR THAT SHIT AT CIRCUIT CITY YESTERDAY.

Like three Wii boxes sitting there in the Wii section with a tag that said "$249.99" and I was like "OH SHIT WII'S HOW DID NO ONE KNOW!!!" and I went to pick up the box I almost fell over since it was just a display box and not heavy at all. I threw at all the empty Wii boxes and walked away.

The double-points thing ends on the 24th, though one thing is that the RZ card will get you is 12% off a single item coupons they have from time to time, instead of 10%. Worth a buck here or there.

Yea but back then you got a 5 dollar gift card for every 125 dollars spent. Now it is 250.
 
If anyone wants to play some gears of war tomorrow, hit me up if you see me on live. Don't care if it is for co-op or deathmatch.

Also got to say that the game seems to get easier as you get used to it. Insane seems a heck of a lot easier than hardcore did, but I think that is more due to playing so much Gears in the past few days.

In other news, I just did an hour of shoulders and I'm typoing at the Y. Now I gotta run to Acme and pick upp some snapple. Then hit the field on my way back for an hour of cardio.
