The Scoop: Fable 3, why do you make it so hard for me to love you? I invest so many hours into you, completing every quest, collecting every legendary weapon, shooting every trash-talking gnome, and you thank me with bugs that consistently hamper my experience.

Now, previous Fable games were no strangers to bugs, but Fable 3 has pushed my tolerance level to the brink. For instance, the inclusion of John Cleese (of Monty Python fame) voicing your butler in the game has gained considerable hype because, well, it’s John Cleese. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enjoy Mr. Praline’s witty charm, as a game bug rendered his character mute throughout the duration of my playthrough. Then there’s the fast-travel glitch, which crippled the ability to jump from one region to the other, forcing my character to journey by foot across the rather large maps to get in-between regions, and completely restricting one region that was only accessible through fast-travel. How these bugs got passed testing is beyond me. This has devolved into a bit of a rant, so allow me to get to the actual reviewing of the game, where I will attempt to transfer my rage towards bugs in a more professional manner.
Hey, what is on that extra content card? I just popped this game in from Black Friday and its got me curious.
Thanks for the question - you may want to post the question directly on the review page so Victor can see it :)

Wow, you had no voice for Cleese the entire game? Unbelievable.

I encountered two bugs that really irritated me. The first was the side quest where you try to seduce a housewife in hopes she will leave her husband, so he can get out of the marriage without paying any penalties. I did everything she wanted, but when it came time to end the quest, the door slammed shut while all three of us were in their house, they stopped talking and I couldn't get out via any normal method. I was able to fast travel out of the house, thankfully, but I could never complete the quest, which always irritated me.

This led to my second glitch. After this fiasco, I could no longer access the Road to Rule from the Sanctuary. I almost quit on the game at that point in time, but decided to keep playing and see if I would be able to return via a story event. Thankfully, that did occur, and afterwards, I could access the Road to Rule from the Sanctuary again. Randomly afterwards, I wouldn't be able to access it again, but if I quit and reloaded, I would be able to.

Good review man.

Hi first post here :D

Fable 3 sounded good in my opinion before the release Moleynuex seems to talk a good game but once i got it i was a little disapointed with it, visuals were improved on from the 2nd voice acting was done good but the big let down was the story and a bit pointless. Its a decent game though
