Also there is no character in the movie named "Kajadjidjaji" or I would know since he would be the fat kid that always got beat up and made fun of at school.

Thank you I thought I was going crazy because I was the only one who remembered that. It's been awhile since I played but it's a pretty intergral character relationship story.
And even though the graphics were polygonic, she was definitely pale as a ghost in the game too.

Man, what a fun movie.
Pretty much the same sentiment as everyone else. It is not the greates movie ever.
BUt just think about it. Here is a movie that was based on a game that a ton ( I know not everyone) loved. And they put a lot of time and love into making this movie. I know that they are going to make money. But I just think that the whole idea and the movie was pretty awesome.

The graphics and animations are truly awesome. really great motion effects.
The story not my favorite but I still enjoyed the crap out of the movie. Thanks Sqaure Enix.

Dyne was also a rather cool character. Though I thought the idea of gunarms had gotten cold by then.

The Truks stole the show. They did more than the FF gang. The only ones that did anything were Tifa and Vincent. Cid, Barret, Red, Yuffie and Cait just jumped in to say hi.
What was the point of upgrading the Highwind to Sierra if it didnt even do anything?

Kinda stupid point. But it seemed weird to me that when he stepped on Rude's glasses, Rude seemed upset. But then the next scene he was wearing glasses again. He must keep extra pairs in his jacket.

I Know, That is what I was trying to get across in my above comment. He seemed so crushed to see his glasses broken. Then walah! No problem. (or is that whaLah)

When they showed midgar lighting up, man, that made me happy. My wife watched it with me. Which is pretty awesome. But she has not played FF7. So I had to explain a lot to her. It would have been fun to watch it with someone who knew the story. She was probably wodering why I was happy to see a city with green stuff coming out of it.

I also like how when Reno saw Bahamut he smacked Rude and then Rude was about to punch him until he saw Bahamut sitting up on the memorial thing...

they were the comic relief. It was a shame that Elena had a small role. I was never big on the Turks but I loved what they added to the movie. The game it was like "Oh fuck here's another battle"

All you see of Elena is her ID and then when she shoots the thing that catches Rufus and her standing at the end....thats sad.


And they worked well for the comic relief, I liked them the best....almost anyways.

Pretty good movie. Loved the ring tone, the Bahamut fight, and the second half of the credits. How does Cloud get his motorcycle back after the fight in the forest when Vincent helps him get away? Does he go back and get it somehow when he takes Marlene back?
 
i just finished the movie last night and i thought it was great! i had extremely low expectations b/c of ff:spirits within and also b/c i never finished ff7 (flame shield). the best part of the movie was the bahamut fight. i imagined that's what a turn-based battle would look like in real time. pretty neat hehe. :cool:

edit: since i didn't finish the game, i didn't know who half of the people were or what role they played in the game. whenever i saw vincent pop up, i kept thinking of him as moxio LMAO!!!!! :lol:
 
i thought of something, just now, for people who said they didnt like the CTHD stuff...

would you rather have 3 of them line up and take turns attacking eachother...i mean cmon they gotta be above level 60!
