Got an email a little bit ago from CompUSA. Basically, since they can't fufill my BC: Collector's Edition preorder, if I buy the regular, I get the strategy guide for free. Sweet! Count me in.


Here's the actual email!

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to fulfill your order for
the 342820 World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Collectors Edition that you
ordered. The manufacturer did not deliver the quantity promised and there
are no more available. Your order is being cancelled due to this shortage.

Warcraft: Burning Crusade Expansion for $39.99 and as our apology we will
send you 342786 World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Official Strategy
Guide by BradyGames at no additional charge (a $24.99 value). We will also
send these two items to you with free shipping. This offer is only
available to those customers who preordered the Collector’s Edition prior to
1/17/2007. (Please note that these will be sold together and any
cancellations/refunds on the 342356 World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
Expansion will also require the return of the Strategy Guide). The World of

On the other hand, CompUSA is probably one of the last places I'd do a pre-order on anyway...

i recently walked into 3 diff gamestops, 1st had 4 BC CE, 2nd had 0 and the 3rd had 10 all upfront, then 20 mins later my friends calls and tells me Fry's had 24 so just look a bit and u can prob find it before it probably sky rockets on ebay
