Just noticed this, and since Superman Returns is going to be a hot movie and these are hot new (unreleased) DVD's, I thought I'd give a heads up to some people:

Justice League Season 2
Superman The Animated Series Volume 3
Lois and Clark Season 3
Superman: Brainiac Attacks (New Superman animated movie which apparently sucks)

I got this from DVDtalk, can't find the thread for it now though.

All these movies hit June 20th... as it stands now, I'm going to get two free movie tickets just for getting JL Season 2 and The Animated Series Volume 3.

I wonder if they are going to give tickets away with Superboy,

I know its unlikely as its held up in court right now, the rights to Superboy (Connor Kent) persona. Is it even going to be released on dvd now?

And on topic, I will probably get 3 free tickets, as I may give the Brainiac movie a try, depending on how terrible it gets reviewed from people I trust. But JL and Animated are definites.

I found out about this awhile ago when I was looking up prices on for JLU Season 2 on Amazon.com, and saw this: This DVD includes a Movie Money pass valued up to $10.50 for admission to see Superman Returns, opening in theaters June 30, 2006. Coupon valid in select theaters in the United States from June 30, 2006, to July 31, 2006.

I seem to remember getting burned with one of these coupons before. I think it was one of the LOTRs, something about not being able to use it on opening night or something.

In any case, I'm definitely getting Justice League. In fact, I was just about to watch some more of Season 1 tonight.

Justice League is the only one I been planning on buying. The coupon usually can't be used the first opening 2 weeks or something like that...

I think that depends on the movie theaters, as I've used tons of free passes from DVD on opening weekend.

As have I. These things arent like free passes. They're cash for the theatres, who get reimbursed the ticket price, so its not like they have any reason not to accept you.

Definitely will be in for Justice League Season 2 and possible STAS Vol. 3 depending on the prices for that week. It really depends on the theatres but the last few years I think theatres and the companies creating these free movie cash promo's have gotten it worked out fairly well as for where and when they are valid. I really like these deals because I probably wouldn't see most of the films I've watched the last few years without the incentive of picking up a DVD I wanted that offered the free movie ticket. There is also some Pirates of the Caribean 2 movie cash I noticed when I was in Best Buy the other day set up in a display featuring National Treasure, Con-Air, Enemy of the State and others that I can't remember right now.

FYI the earlier seasons are on sale at BB this week. I believe there is a thread with the prices up already. STAS Vol 1/2 $14.99 JLA Vol 1 $29.99

I got burned on the free DaVinci Code tickets... Bought a movie advertised as having a free ticket, and got home to discover no ticket inside.

That happened to me when i bought X-men1.5 for the X2 movie ticket. There was a sticker on the pack that said free movie ticket inside and there wasnt one. I went back to Best Buy and had them exchange it. I had them open the copy in front of me to make sure there was a ticket in it. The first copy they opened also didnt have a ticket either, the second one did.

Any chance this could be used for the Imax version of the film?

I'm guessing not, but on the off chance they'd accept it, that would entirely justify the cost of the Justice League set for me. :)

Anyone who is getting JL season 2 and have a copy of the Justice League: Star Crossed Movie they wanna get rid of (since it's on JL Season 2), Gamestop gives $4 for it, not bad seeing as how it usually retails well under $10. plus for some reason I got a bonus applied and it came out to $7 and some change.

Just a warning about this (not to mention the warning that apparently Superman Animated 3 does not come with the ticket, see the other thread). I believe that the Star Crossed Movie is anamorphic, while the transfer on the JL Season 2 is not. I know, not a big deal to some, but still a key difference.

Picked up Superboy Season 1 yesterday, and packaging said it has a free ticket(didn't open it yet)
