that's my all time list, i think it's not really dropped off much, the thing i noticed is offers go away really fast (idol white didn't last long) or the offer provider changes the conditons (this happened with keen and seattle coffee direct)

best thing to do is check this thread every day, if a reputable poster says a trial worked for him or he tried a trial and is sure it's cheap, then do the offer ASAP or it'll change, disappear
 
Has anyone done the Stopzilla or Spyzooka software offers? If so, are they easy to cancel? Cheap?

If anyone else has some current offers they've done that are good, please let me know! I need some games and want to do the best offers.

I've done a lot but lately they've seemed like the restrictions on some have gotten very stringent.

Just checked on those prices and Stopzilla is 39.95 with supposedly a $30 mail-in rebate. So cost ends up being 9.95 but you can supposedly get your total money back within 30 or 60 days.

Spyzooka costs 29.95 for one computer but it also comes with a 60 day money guarantee. The only thing with these guarantees is that I've not come across a cust serv. no. or email to receive that money back. FYI.

Did StopZILLA, filed a MCR this past Tuesday....still no credit! Im getting a little tired of having to MCR for "almost" every credit recently!

Comparing my old accounts to the one I have now...I agree with you. I really don't have a *good* offer left, which stinks, because I need one for DJ Hero. (And I hate referrals.) And the lack of good trials coming our way has been mighty disappointing.

Really, I think my usage of the site will drop off considerably once I can get one more offer in. I'll keep updating the OP (if necessary), but my posts in here will probably be limited.

Wow, even I can't believe I've done that many. Obviously, when you're brand new to the site, there's going to be more offers for you to do, but just the fact that there were 13 worthwhile offers to do within my first month of membership really says something. A lot of those offers ranged from free to $4.95 as well.

I think a big reason there aren't as many good offers anymore is due to the state the economy has been in for the past year or so. Almost every business across the board has suffered, and I've really been impressed that Trainn has even been able to keep this going. I doubt many of these companies are willing to pay as much for referrals anymore, and that's why the cheap "learn how to use ebay" offers aren't as prevalent. Hopefully as things improve, we'll start to see some better offers again.
 
I'd have to agree. I've only done about 12 offers, getting credit for 8 of them, since 2008 but I had four offers credit in my first two months of joining. Recently though it's been a real struggle to find any decent offers.

My last credit was DealMax in October and now I'm sitting on 3 credits because Keen didn't ever credit despite two support tickets. :roll:

Hopefully in the first half of 2010 things will pickup and offers will start flowing again.
 
Has anyone tried Dietrine?? It looks like the typical diet pill offers where you pay S/H and get a big charge ($120)if you don't cancel before the end of the 14 day trial.

The Terms and Service links to a page that you can supposedly use to cancel your membership. I did not see anything about shipping items back, but I also did not see how much the initial S/H is either.
 
looks like no release date delivery for Assassins 2 or Left 4 Dead 2. Kind of sucks since trainn has been very good with new releases. still waiting 4 update

Hmm, I guess I'll wait to see if they do add DJ Hero. Nothing else i see on there right now screams as a 'must have'. I am a bit worried that, like n8 said, Monday might not mean this coming monday...
 
Dammit, I need to find an offer then. I may end up giving in and doing a more expensive offer...one with a money-back guarantee or something.

I know what's out there...I've done most of those that don't involve shipping something back. And I do check this thread constantly..and the drop in activity shows me things are changing. I joined over a year ago, and there were a ton of good, $1 or less offers. Those have fallen to the wayside. Those ones where you have to ship something back I've stayed away from, but my disposition might need to change.

Heh, all the people agreeing with my shows I'm not crazy. Credits are becoming harder to come by.

I was checking that out too. It says to remain a member for 31 days. So would we get billed on the 31st day for a 2nd month? Or would it still be under 1 month?

I just signed up for it a couple days ago. $7.95 for first month and includes 1 audiobook. I can confirm that it credits same day, at least it did for me. I'll be cancelling before I'm billed for a second month, so hopefully I won't have a problem.

I guess I'm gonna try this one, hope it credits today, order DJ Hero tomorrow (assuming they deliver on what they said) and hope it ships soon.

I did the Emusic offer a month ago, I still have not recieved a credit. I sent them a MCR, they should I need more info. Then I gave them the info they needed, and now they say another 2 full weeks. This is stupid, the offer is suppose to credit in 2 days. Any suggestions, to get this thing to credit?
 
Just checked this AM and there are 19 new offers up.

From what I've clicked on though, most seem sold by the exact same company. And most require a full purchase of their product, not just a "trial", which stinks.

A lot of the requirements say "Returned orders will result in credit reversal."

And checking the terms they say that you can only return unopened bottles for a refund within a certain number of days and that they charge a $10 restocking fee(?). So you end up paying for the shipping both ways and $10.
Not sure if it's worth all that trouble. If you all try these, let us know how well they go or not. Thanks.

Still no credit on Audible for me either. Gonna look at their new offers, but it doesn't sound good. :l

EDIT: Yeah....so, the new offers suck. All mention that returning products will have your credit reversed. Blah. I didn't really read into them, so I dunno if there are any "Free + $XXX shipping for your first bottle" offers. Doesn't look promising though.

My suggestions...wait two weeks.

The two weeks is the time that they estimate that TRAINN will have to wait for emusic to get back to them. It's not TRAINN delaying on you.
 
I did keen, deposited $1 and left it at that and got my MCR shot down. Can I log back into keen and make the call, then resubmit the MCR? Will I get another email after the call?

Here's what happened to me:

Started Keen, deposited $1. Did nothing with the calls. Canceled my account with them a few days later. They returned the $1 to my credit card.

Started MCR with Trainn after one week. Was eventually told I didn't use the $1, so no credit (and they closed MCR).

Since I couldn't go in and use the $1 (because I canceled my account), I used Trainn's link to go back to the site. Used another email address to create an account with Keen, deposited the $1, and used it this time. Reopened the MCR with Trainn and told them what I did. Five days later, I got credit.

So, I don't see any problem with you using the $1, if you can still get to it. Then, reopen your MCR and let them know.

Once they respond to you, on the MCR page, they close the MCR. Should say "Closed" next to the priority. I just clicked on it to bring it back up, and posted a new comment in it. It then moves back to "Open".

I'd take a screencap, but I'm at work.
 
Well, as I figured, so much for DJ Hero being added on "Monday". My hunch is that they're stalling waiting for a price drop. If they'd act fast, they could take advantage of a big sale. The Official GuitarHero Store is selling it for $89 shipped (using code DJHERO takes $30 off). I made sure to let Trainn know that on their Twitter, so maybe we'll see it up tomorrow.
 
so i checked couple out.... most of them you have to buy 4 months worth of said product. . . i checked out one of them was +$100 for 4 months worth. . . they need some cheap offers asap!!!

In my most recent support ticket (letting them know they had a broken link to an offer), they mentioned just releasing "21 new offers". Those are the ones that just recently went up. They also said "...with another 50 soon to come".

I sure hope they aren't as crappy as the recent ones!
 
hey for those who did netflix did you get credit after 22 days. I stayed over the trial still have around 5 days until its 22 days or did you file a MCR. I resigned up for the 8.99 package. Do I just send the original email I got the one that says Welcome to Netflix should that work for MCR. please let me know what I do to get credit if it doesnt credit by the 22 days

I didn't get credit in the 22 days. My MCR did credit. And yes, you just need to send them your welcome email. Just start the MCR process now.

Yea, as much as I like this site, they don't exactly come through on their word in regards to when they will add new games. I have pretty much decided that anytime I hear an "update is coming" all it means is that they might update the site in the next 2-3 weeks. They were pretty consistent for a while adding updates on the 1st weekend of each month, but it is all over the board now.
