Has anyone seen the Full Spectrum warrior G4 video on xbox's website. Check it out and tell me you are not amazed.

A whoping two people online...Sorry this will not be getting my 50 dollars as I once thought...there is a team of four...why cant I have four people???????....Oh yeah...I have to use crappy comands to tell them what to do...

Yeah...this game was made for military simulation...I thought it would be more realistic and "human" orientated and not bossing stupid AI around

I actually just got back from Gamestop and I bought Full Spectrum Warrior. For the last hour or so I've been playing through the tutorials. It's a pretty fun game but personally I don't think that it's for me. I should have gotten The Chronicles or Riddick instead. This is like a real-time strategy game.
I am amazed at how crappy the explosions appear. Theres no flames, just smoke, it looks lame. Where's the sense of realism.
That is realistic, chief.

id pay full price for riddick without a doubt....i heard very good things about this game...other than that, i wont even think about buying another full priced game for a while (with the exception of psi-ops)

Ever actually thrown a grenade? Real-life explosive ordnance doesn't always look as pretty as expected, especially for those of us raised on videogames and Bruce Willis movies. Usually liquid accelerants tend to make for very big flashes, but grenades don't have the "flash" that you might hope for.

NEWSFLASH........from Slashdot:
"Thanks to EvilAvatar for pointing to a gallery of screenshots from the hidden 'Army Mode' of newly-released Xbox strategy game Full Spectrum Warrior. Originally discovered using a modified Xbox, GameFAQs lists a universally-usable code to "unlock the original [U.S. Army-funded] training version [of FSW], with more enemies, civilians, open areas, levels, and [greater] difficulty", as previously mentioned on Slashdot Games. "

The code, by the way, is:

Entered under the options menu.

Cheers

Man, if you could go online, have a team of four REAL people (no AI) and play the Army version of the game, that would be sweet as hell. It would really force communication and cooperation, which SHOULD be the staple point for team-based online games. (Like playing Enowapi in SOCOM 2 as a SEAL when your team has fewer numbers then the terrorists... a lot more communication makes it more fun)

I must say that it is a truly awesome game. I felt as if i was playing the original command and conquer only at a smaller level. And probably the most graphicly impressive games on the xbox. Several flaws, including hard movement through the narrow passages and rather short single player campaign. However; i havent begun to play the army version. I do know there is a lot of stuff to tweak inside this version. It is also the only game that has tried to emulate actual dialog and not messed up once. Everything they said was amazingly accurate. The commands tend to repeat but when in battle... the more intense the fighting the more intense the voices became. I think that is what I am so amazed with. That is the actual presentation of the game. I would have like to been able to manually shoot but oh well, that is not what this game is about. Hope you give it a chance.
