Gamecube Platinum Controllers, $6 @ BB (YMMV)

Don't think it's been posted, but I was at my local best buy yesterday and they had Nintendo brand platinum gamecube controllers on clearance for only $6! Probably ymmv, but a good opportunity if you can find it and have been looking for them (I'm stocking up for SSBB).

nintendo only sells the wired one still

they discontinued the Wireless one for some odd reason that I bet had to be because of being rumble-less.

I have to go check my BB tomorrow morning, but I hope this is in the bay area.

Thats so not fair. The BB near me was just built, it doesn't have extra stuff to put on clearence. It also has the smalllest VG section ever.

I bet it has to do with the fact people would rather spend money on a Wavebird than a classic controller that isn't 100% wireless.
