Note: Be sure to check DRM prior to purchase. It will typically be listed to the right of the description, just above the System Requirements. There are several instances where games may vary in DRM type even within the same bundle. You have been warned.

I'm sure Neuro appreciates your daily posts outlining the uselessness of him updating this thread.
I think it's ALWAYS better to post "deals" than to not post 'em.

That way, we can get an idea of what's being thrown around for deals at a certain place.

This just keeps letting us know that GG can't and won't compete w/ the rest of the digital distribution club.

Last deal I really liked from GG was probably the $5 deal for D+D Anthology Collection.

IsThereAnyDeal is telling me this been cheaper at $10 a bunch of places.

Is GG even trying anymore w/ their deals?
{walks into thread expecting disappointment}

{is disappointed}

{leaves disappointed}
{Walks into thread hoping for decent GG sales}

Ugh, I should've known better...

:(
Wo0t!

More GG disappointment!
Remind me why I check out this GG thread...

It ain't for the deals, right? ;)
I miss when Gamersgate had worthwhile and great deals.

Wait - that wasn't too often, was it? ;)

there's a theme in there somewhere...one day we'll wake up to a great gamersgate deal. and then...

You didn't have to, y'know.
Even though they are the same exact price on Steam there is that one person who actually gives a shit about getting DRM free copies along with Steam keys.

Of course he's probably not going to buy these at just 50% off either.

OMG is GamersGate ever going to have a decent sale? I take the time to check this thread every day and for what? This garbage?

They'd better shape up and give us something good tomorrow or I'm leaving! You hear that GG, I'll really leave and you'll never see me again!

Ever!

For real this time!

I mean it!

(until the next glitch)

Nothing against Idiot, but a realization just dawned on me. Why doesn't MysterD run the GOG thread and/or seem to be a disciple of GOG? (Not to be confused with gag.)

Because a MysterD thread would consist of 40 posts to the effect of 'I wish this was $5. ;) '?

Actually, once upon a time Idiot was more in the DRM free camp until he became assimilated into the Steam hoarder collective.

Do we really want MysterD in charge of anything?

No, I was in the "I don't care where I have it, so if I have DRM free version of it, I'll just sell the Steam key"... camp.

B/c I really don't have the time, patience, or anything of that sort to just post deals + keep a thread of my own updated ALL the time.

EDIT:

Do we really want MysterD in charge of anything?
Even MysterD doesn't wanna be in charge of anything.

EDIT #2:

Because a MysterD thread would consist of 40 posts to the effect of 'I wish this was $5. ;) '?
True.

I guess that's not terrible for WotR Kingmaker if you get in on a 4-pack. I'm somewhat tempted by the Brian Blessed DLC... but no, no.

In any case, WotR is hands down the best medieval combat simulator around. It's not that fast-paced arcadey CoD style crap like Chivalry is. Not to totally bash Chivalry, or CoD for that matter, since they both can be fun, but they're too twitchy and unbalanced. WotR is a really well done, constantly updated game with a ridiculous amount of depth.

It's brutal when you're starting out, so I'd suggest something big and easy to hit with like a two-handed sword. Realize you can't just button mash and do the first hit, first kill thing. You have to aim your strikes to vital areas, block, hit with the blade of the weapon if you're using a halberd or such, etc. It's a challenging game, but also really satisfying as you get better.

50% off How To Survive (Steam) - $7.50 (Ends 3/24)
67% off PAYDAY 2 - Armored Transport (Steam) - $2.31 (Ends 3/24)
50% off Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death (Steam) - $7.50 (Ends 3/24)
50% off Tiny Brains (Steam) - $5.00 (Ends 3/24)
Nice - GG is two cents cheaper on that Payday 2 DLC.

Not that I'm buying Payday 2 anytime soon or anything.

I'd probably wait for a Complete Pack or something.

I still barely play the original Payday.

Definitely will check out Payday 2 during the Free Weekend on Steam.

Yet no sale on Legendary Heroes. :(

I'll probably buy this anyways because I've been craving another Eador-esque SRPG. Could anyone who's played both FE and FE:LH tell me if they're both worth playing? Different stories and whatnot? I've heard that LH is hands down the better game, but it still sounds like they're different games, so is it worth playing both?

From what I understand LH is basically the same game but better

Hmm... having a hard time finding a straight answer, but the game's site itself does say: "Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes begins right where Fallen Enchantress left off. Your fame has spread far and wide bringing forth champions who will aid your cause in restoring civilization to the land."

So it does sound like they're different games, as far as story goes at least. Hmm...

Well apparently that snippet is pretty much lying. There may be a new campaign, but the old one is included in LH too I guess.

It's just taking way too long for it to get cheap. I can imagine FE showing up in a Gala eventually, but it's gonna be ages before LH gets in.

IIRC LH is a patch that was sold separately in order fleece FE buyers.
People complain and call it a patch, but it adds loads of new content and a new campaign, from what I'm reading. Most patches don't give new content...

I guess you could liken it to XCOM: Enemy Within. It's the same game, but it just adds stuff and makes everything better.

For those that got Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit from the Sega Humble Weekly Bundle, the two dlcs for Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit are showing 81% to 82% off but they are actually 75% off if you look at steam store price.

Hell Yeah! Pimp My Rabbit Pack - Gamersgate $0.75 (81% off) Steam *$0.75 (75% off was lowest on steam)

Hell Yeah! Virtual Rabbit Missions - Gamersgate $1.37 (82% off) Steam *$1.37 (75% off was lowest on steam)

Wait, are you insinuating that GG is incorrect in their MSRP listing?

{shocked}

I think they like to play around with numbers to mislead the off-guard consumers but tinkering too much with numbers tend to backfire on themselves every once in a while. :lol:
