Make sure you ask for a cash refund, otherwise they'll refund you in blue coins, unless you bought it in blue coins in which case it doesn't matter.

Seems CAG gets a rep for X amount of time from a company (i.e. Amazon, GMG, Gamersgate)...

...and then the company eventually decides that their reps spent enough time on CAG or ain't made enough $ - it stops.

And/or said company think they've got CAG'ers hooked and that we are going to be loyal to keep buying from said company blindly - and since CAG's are loyal to the best deal, then they should know better...

The original don't even have cloud saving... or at least a dedicated folder OUTSIDE the main one, like (almost) all games since year 2000 do! Hope the new one implements cloud saving, so I have the perfect excuse to play it all over again (lost my saved games after uninstalling the game)

Couldn't they just patch the game for those of us who already own the original?

So it'll be yet another Deus Ex DC situation. Separate app. Eff that.

Edit: If all 24 DLCs will be included from the start then does that means the cheat stuff that gives you money will also be included?

Edit 2: The game has 26 DLCs. The high resolution texture DLC won't be included... so what else is missing?

I wish Square Eidos had a way to upgrade from Thief Regular to Master Edition.

They don't sell the Digital Art Book or Soundtrack separate as DLC's. :(

That's my gripe with Tomb Raider. They sell the Survival Edition, but buying it and the DLC pack is way more expensive than buying the GOTY release.

Just why.

Resident Evil Revelations - 91% off - $4.49 Steam in Putin's Imperium Lands.

Doesn't seem to be region locked, but I cannot guarantee it.

Street Fighter AE is also on sale at 90% off - $3.00.
It says GFWL as DRM but it redeems on Steam perfectly fine.

Rememeber you can save an additional 20% with the lastest coupon from GG.
Still valid till 12th October if I recall correctly.
 
Impulse buy be damned... got a copy of Super Street Fighter IV since my friends were arranging a mini tournament on Steam, but then I checked the product page and the DRM listed is Games for Windows Live...  :wall:

If anybody has made the same error in the past, can he confirm that I'll never get a Steam key from them or is there a glimmer of hope?

EDIT: The activation code they gave me redeemed succesfully on Steam... phew!

There's really isn't anything in the Capcom sale that I could use my 20% coupon on. I either own it already, or it's got a discount percentage or base price which makes the after coupon price the same as standard steam sale prices (or worse).

Why would I buy from Gamersgate for the same price that I can get on steam? At least on steam I could use card money.

Thanks guys, I'll try to download it later at home, as the code registered on Steam (and gave me an already purchased alert when inputed a second time) but the game isn't showing in my library... maybe it needs a first install to be registered correctly? Or do I have to fetch the code every time from GG if I want to install, play a little, uninstall and then re-install it later?

Check your Steam "Account details" page for the license. As long as it's there you should be fine. FYI, in your library, it'll show up as Ultra Street Fighter IV (which I can see in your library, cause I'm totally not a stalker or something else creepy like that).
