You know, I keep meaning to try Dark Messiah. Anybody here ever play it?

I feel like I ask that question every day now.
Only on the 360... And not for very long. Frankly, I don't remember too much about it other than even with the few RPGs out at the time it wasn't one of the better options...

Now, its by means an unplayable mess and now doubt the PC verison is supieror... I know, I'm not much help.

The Dark Messiah PC versions levels are different, they're better and less linear than the 360 version. If I remember right the 360 version you're also stuck with picking a class, where-as the PC version you can mix and match whatever skills you want.

It is a fun game, especially kicking enemies off of and into things, and I would definitely recommend it. That said, the story isn't anything memorable.

Doesn't sound half bad to be honest... At least I got the part about me not being much help right.

Dark Messiah is a lot of fun. You can see where Arkane developed some of their ideas they would implement in Dishonored.

It was notoriously computer breaking on release though, so if you have an old or shitty PC, might have to deal with some headaches. Most normal PCs should power through the issues these days.

The 3 Borderlands 2 Headhunter DLC are $0.98 each if you buy the Mac versions of them on the UK site and have the 20% discount, otherwise they are $1.23 each. I just bought them and confirmed they activate with the PC version of BL2 on Steam.

Bloody Harvest

The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler

Mercenary Day
Nice find. I can confirm as well. I just picked up Mercenary Day for $1.26 after the conversion and it activated on Steam (PC) without an issue.

Finally was able to register with Gamersgate and get The Pit Gold Edition.

Man, this game is fun.

Do I need to learn recipes by trial and error, or do you discover recipes?

It's been awhile, but you find recipes. You keep recipes over playthroughs. I think you can get it by trial and error as well.

Not that I'm buying - it ain't cheap enough.

Not sure - but, does the Flashback reboot include the original Flashback?
I have the original on my Genesis - loved that game, back in the day.
From what I've read, the original game is included and is launchable from inside the game. Sources: Wikipedia article and IGN review (neither state PC specifically).

Thanks for the info.

Other worthless info - I have Fade To Black PC (Flashback sequel) on my retail-gaming shelf. :D

According to a friend that bought it for the 360, the original Flashback is poorly emulated, has all music and most audio missing, and looks like crap because they make you play it from what looks to be a dirty monitor.

Also, this daily is the same price as Steam (but this STILL REQUIRES UPLAY.) That's the price during the entire sale:

Why didn't they just include the original game on DOSBox? That's where I played -my copy-!

Edit: According to the Steam forums (grain of salt), there's no music because they couldn't get the rights to it. Freakin' figures...

ahhh okay. thought out of anybody that you might, seem to have a lot of older games "from retail"

Legend of Kyrandia (I think) are some of the most underrated adventure games ever made.
I kinda hate to say this - but until you just mentioned them today, I never even heard of Legend of Kyrandia.
