Because I like replaying the first game for plot reasons, not gameplay reasons nor because i'm looking for a challenge. Did 3 "start from scratch" playthroughs, and I no longer can be assed to grind up all those levels when I want to try a different class or alignment/set of choices. Would much rather simply drop someone else's level 50 Shep into a new game. ME1 has reached a point for me where it is no longer fun to spend hours walking around the Citadel or blip hunting in the Mako, yet I feel compelled to continually return to it.I guess I can understand that... Don't get me wrong, it sucks that they are doing that too everyone.... but I'm a bit confused why you would want to play with someone else's save? (I think that's what you're doing.)
This pretty much sums up ME1 for me as well. If only they allowed you to switch classes in a new game. I love the game to death, but between Mako-ing desolate planets and excessive elevator rides, it's become a borderline chore to get through parts of the game. I may even go back to playing on Hardcore or Veteran in ME1 as well. Insanity on ME1 has to be the most prolific use of bullet sponges in any game I have ever played.Because I like replaying the first game for plot reasons, not gameplay reasons nor because i'm looking for a challenge. I think it's because, IIRC, there was a ton of Mako driving/combat, which I hate.Because I waited a few months short of 2 years for that trash to come out... Utter failure. (I also question your taste on how you could possibility have liked it better than Bringing Down the Sky.
Mako combat is optional if your badass enough to do it on foot.I think it's because, IIRC, there was a ton of Mako driving/combat, which I hate.
If there is one thing I can fault BioWare for, it's vehicular combat. The M44 wasn't really an improvement on the Mako. More maneuverable, maybe, but built out of what must be metallic tissue paper.I think it's because, IIRC, there was a ton of Mako driving/combat, which I hate.
Kinda agree but my fuzzy memories of ME 1 were that the Mako really sucked to try to maneuver around on a planetary surface. If there is one thing I can fault BioWare for, it's vehicular combat. Yeah, that's what I meant. The M44 Hammerhead was more maneuverable than the Mako, but would get shot up in no time flat. (On insanity at least.)Kinda agree but my fuzzy memories of ME 1 were that the Mako really sucked to try to maneuver around on a planetary surface.
shouldnt legacy of kain colelction be there too?Just stop. You're going to make people think it's not on sale when it actually is.

Totally down with that. Myself, I simply use Gibbed's Save Editor to add resources (so I can skip all the planet scanning side missions) and can focus on the main storyline where I can make all the plot decisions as I envision that character making. Beyond that, I don't mind earning the character levels as I progress.Because I like replaying the first game for plot reasons, not gameplay reasons nor because i'm looking for a challenge. Never been a fan of the newgame+ style of games where you have to redo everything just to max out a character. Yes, I know i'm playing the game multiple times and am redoing everything anyway, but I would just prefer each playthrough to be somewhat unique from a supermagicspacepowers standpoint.
I was completely okay with that. Besides, the Hammerhead you barely used. You were in the Mako all the F*#&ing time to get anywhere, and it was one of the worst vehicles all time in video games in terms of maneuverability. I hated that thing so much.If there is one thing I can fault BioWare for, it's vehicular combat. The M44 wasn't really an improvement on the Mako. I have enough level 60 ME1 saves that ME2 planet scanning is really a non-issue for me. And don't tell anyone, but I sorta kinda like planet scanning. It's a weird hoarding thing. I usually have @250,000 units of everything except Eezo before I hit Horizon. And I still purchase the planet scanner and probe bay even afterwards when I don't even need them. I'd still like a ME1 Save editor though.Totally down with that. This is true. I'm glad the M44 didn't overstay it's welcome. Though I did get a hang of the M35, there were still like two planets, I absolutely dread. You know the ones. Where you have to basically navigate near vertical rock walls. One was bad, but the other sucked Shepard's nuts. Hate them. And the last base in BDtS was kinda annoying. Constant strafing in a tank...I was completely okay with that. Besides, the Hammerhead you barely used. You were in the Mako all the F*#&ing time to get anywhere, and it was one of the worst vehicles all time in video games in terms of maneuverability. I hated that thing so much.
I doubt anyone is buying from these fools but Grid 2 has a new edition out with all the DLC...
Yeah, I see that... Also I counted the DLC packs in that link I posted versus the All DLC Pack (link) and its missing one... The McLaren pack. Why? I'm not sure... I have no answer. They don't even have all the Grid 2 content. I don't see the Spa or Bathurst Track Packs on there. Those are the ones I'm most interested in, besides the IndyCar Pack.
Wow that is even worse then that the Steam pack doesn't have all the content. I don't understand it either.Yeah, I see that... Also I counted the DLC packs in that link I posted versus the All DLC Pack (link) and its missing one... The McLaren pack. Why? I'm not sure... I have no answer.

I own it and it's sitting on an old laptop I can't say more. From what I read people really liked it, and I still runs in WIn7-64. (IIRC TW Medieval 1 has issues.)Anyone have any thoughts on Total War Shogun 1 for $1.24? I'm not loving the whole no Steam and Securom thing but it is cheap. *shrug*
I couldn't really get into it when I tried it. Of course, that was in 2002 or so. And $1.25 is a whole lot less than what I paid.Anyone have any thoughts on Total War Shogun 1 for $1.24? I'm not loving the whole no Steam and Securom thing but it is cheap. *shrug*

Castle of Illusion [starring Mickey Mouse] -> req. Steam = 66% off @ $5.10
(Original list price on GG = $14.99)
Medieval has some crashing issues on 64 bit Win 7 (or at least on my Win 7) but I've managed to enjoyably play games by just quick saving very regularly and accepting the crashes as they roll. It would crash anywhere from once an hour to once a night. Pretty sure I played in XP compatibility mode.(IIRC TW Medieval 1 has issues.)
I think I bought it while it was $3.75 on Amazon last month. It's a pretty sweet game, mostly played it with my girlfriend and she loved the fact that it's Disney and had awesome looking set-pieces (kind of like Trine), platforming is not too difficult or easy, although if I was just playing it by myself I probably wouldn't pay $5 for it.This is close to the cheapest it has been. Too bad we don't have the Oops! discount anymore.
I bought it for $4. I have an acquaintance that gets me games for 80% of the price because he has loads of blue coins and I just give him back the money in PayPal.I think I bought it while it was $3.75 on Amazon last month. I'd be tempted to buy that if I still had my 20% off discount..The daily is The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 1 Complete Pack - $6.80 (66% off), matching Steam's lowest price (but with 5% BC)
Same... but I don't so... well... Patience is a virtue.I'd be tempted to buy that if I still had my 20% off discount..
Jake can get it for like 5 or 5.50 when it s on sale at steam. The daily is The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 1 Complete Pack - $6.80 (66% off), matching Steam's lowest price (but with 5% BC)
My $0.35 + a few percent CC-paypal fees diminish such savings. Then there's my mental fees for having to deal with people...Jake can get it for like 5 or 5.50 when it s on sale at steam.
Played the demo and was underwhelmed. Just another generic Diablo clone.I'd be tempted to buy that if I still had my 20% off discount..
