Holy crap, that's ALOT for $15, and even buying Cryo separate puts it at $3.25 (he states all the games are 75% individually). Thanks, I'll definitely wait. especially for the Steam keys.
So I missed a Sims 3 sale? ... Did it show on the 1st post? Just to feel bad, what was the price of Sims 3 and/or Sims 3 Deluxe?
Everything was 75% off. So Sims 3 Reg was $7.49 I think and deluxe was $12.49. Most expansions were $4.99 and $9.99 for the Showtime one.

I could've bought Sims 3 :( Oh well. Thanks.

Amazon is having a Sims 3 starter bundle on sale around labor day for a similar price point.

Showtime Regular Ed was $7.49.
Showtime Katy Perry Ed was $10.

Ooh nice
Trine 2 $3.75
Stronghold Collection $5

Less certain:
TrackMania United Forever $9 -- this is the 2006/7 version, not the 2011 Trackmania Canyons (which is $20 not on sale)
Lego Harry Potter 1-4 $6.78

...updating wiki now
I bought Trine 2, can some one tell me how to activate it on steam?
- Login to your GamersGate account and click All Games under My Shelf on the left-hand side menu in the My Library section

- Locate the game you want to activate on Steam in your games list and click on its icon/title

- On the right-hand side you will see the details of the game including a "Redeem Code" (if there isn't one, contact GamersGate support)

- Start the Steam client and login to your Steam account

- Select menu option Games -> Activate a Product on Steam and follow the prompts.

- Enter the Redeem Code when prompted - the game should then be added to your Steam game list

Hope this helps. Pretty simple but maybe should be added to the FAQ in the OP.

Not sure if anyone is a Front Mission fan, but Front Mission Evolved is on sale for $5.20 before IGN discount.

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-FME/front-mission-evolved

The cheapest it's been on Steam is $7.50 from what I can see, and the game is Steamworks, so it seems like a solid deal.

The game gets some mixed reviews, especially since it's an action game (more like the Armored Core series), rather than a turn based strategy RPG like the rest of the Front Mission series. That said, the combat is supposed to be pretty solid, the graphics look pretty impressive, and the explosions are supposed to be gorgeous. The biggest complaints I've heard about it have been that the on-foot missions are boring, and that the voice acting is sub-par.

Just thought I'd bring it up since it's a game that rarely goes on a good sale. Amazon just had it for $9.99 a month or two ago. $5.20 is the best I've ever seen on it by far.

op updated for 8/24/12 deals & Stardock deals. Nothing special. None of the Stardock games go more than 20% off, and all of them have had much better sales on Steam in the past few months. As for the dailies, meh.

But Trainz 2012 is on sale for $10! The lowest steam has been is $25. How can you not be excited? Okay okay the ByteShield DRM looks hokey..

So we got Amnesia, Stalker COP, Offspring Fling, and Faery for today. Nothing for me :(

When is the last day of the sale? Tomorrow? Monday?

Stalker isn't a bad deal if you missed it during the Steam sale... Tages DRM though. I'd imagine the Steam version has it too, so buying it through GG would actually be minus one layer DRM.

Any opinions on Faery? It's not on Steam, and it looks interesting... Has some pretty good reviews too.

I'm very interested in a CAG-review for Faery too. I'd prolly have insta-bought it, but I worry about the "other DRM" and the 1 review that says Nvidia users have issues getting it to work.

Well, I almost bought Faery from GMG when they had it on sale and I'm tempted again now. I've read that it's a turn-based RPG and I haven't played one of those in ages.

I perused the reviews on Faery again. They still seem weak.

The Demo might be your best resource on deciding.

There is also a demo on OnLive.

Gameplay is reported to be 5-10 hours, probably on the shorter side of that. Sloppy gameplay and poor translation (from French, presumably) are a running theme in the reviews. $5 is probably a fair price. I get the impression that Two Worlds Epic Edition $5 on the Steam Daily may be a better bet.

It's on GOG for $10 without the 3 limit DRM, you could wait for a sale for the DRM Free version.

Yay, just picked up Drakensang Complete (new, physical) for $10 shipped on FleaBay. It was $10.80 w/o IGN on week 1, with probable DRM (physical is DRM-free).

Dailies for Sat 8/26

Rig & Roll -75% $4.99
Krater -50% $7.50 ($10 for Collector's Edition)
Shoot Many Robots -50% $4.99 ($3.18 per copy w/IGN discount on the 4-pack)
Lego Batman 1 -66% $6.78

That's not bad for Krater. Last I checked the CE was worth it for the unique healer. Maybe that's changed, as I know the've been pushing a lot of updates.

Not a bad price on Krater. In line with the Steam sale plus 15% off if you have IGN.

I like that game a lot. Its another example of how terrible Metacritic is.
Wiki updated. Added Seraphym's 4-pack & CE notes. Awaiting moderation.
yay, I helped :applause: I was going to update the OP, but after clicking edit I realized the best help I could give was hitting the back button and not screwing anything up, lol.

Weirdly, it wouldn't let me officially approve the edit, even though it said it was still awaiting moderation. yet, it showed up as already being approved. meh, glitch I guess.

Hmmm, went to buy Xenus 2 and Precursors the last day of the sale and they are not on sale anymore along with most titles. So I guess that last week ended last night? Oh well, money I didn't need to spend.

Yeah.. I did the same thing. Pretty annoyed about it, I was waiting until the last day to see if anything I wanted to buy would end up as a daily.. and they're all off sale now, nothing I can do about it now though.

They ran out of keys for The Precursors, BTW.
Still waiting on one of those keys, since it now uses StarForce Internet DRM (with Version 1.1)...

About Xenus 2: White Gold, I've been playing it.
Yes, it's pretty good - and feels more polished than Boiling Point (Xenus 1).

For both Xenus 2 and The Precursors - back-up your original English sound-pack files that are in the game folder elsewhere OR just rename those files to something else (i,e. main_eng.fat and gf_sounds_eng.grp), just in case.
Make sure you install the Russian Sound Files into the right location (main game directory).
If you don't do this, you will get lots of sound bugs, glitches, and other sound issues b/c the English version got them ripped-out and some of the English sound files are bugged!
Speaking from experience here w/ Xenus 2.
The Vital Engine 3.0 (powering Xenus 2 and The Precursors) does expect sound-files there!
Also, put in Wesp's Unofficial Patches to fix bugs, issues, and improve the game's English-written translation.

Can you provide more details about what you like about the game? I was going to get it but then the metacritic rating really scared me off.

I'd love to hear more details from you about Krater! :)

How's everybody's HAUL from the Gamersgate Summer Sale looking?

Mine looks like this, so far...

Sacred 2: Gold Edition (via Gamersgate UK) = $8.16 USD (after 5.08 GBP to USD conversion)
Two Worlds II: GOTY Edition = $9.99

Syndicate (2012 FPS) = $6
Xenus 2: White Gold = $7.98
The Precursors = $7.98

TOTAL = $50.30

$6.78 Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI
$1.50 The Guild Complete Collection (Doorbuster/price glitch)
$3.99 Alice: Madness Returns
$3.38 Shogun Total War Gold
$3.58 Crusader Kings Complete

Total Damage (w/o IGN): $69.60
Total Wallet Damage (w/IGN) $61.58
Discounts exceeded the $7 for 1 month of IGN
There is another $9.97 that should be considered in here for ($10.80 GG sale) Drakensang Complete (retail, FleaBay) since I delayed getting it until my IGN discount worked, but picked it up yesterday.

Under consideration:
$7.99 NFS:The Run (Beat it, but I'd like my own copy -racing junkie-)

I snagged Syndicate and Warp, and Origin is slowly worming it's way into my life. I was kinda broke for the majority of the sale but thankfully a lot of the best sales were on games I already had. Only regret not getting Precursors or Drakensang.

I picked up:
Sacred 2 Gold
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI
The Guild Complete

I was going to get Hamilton's DLC today and I would have bought Shogun1 Gold had I seen it. I passed on Faery :/

Drakensang Complete, Syndicate, Assassin's Creed: Revelations (Gold) and Alice: Madness Returns. Have Syndicate and Alice installed and am playing through them now.
I wish I had known about Sacred 2 Gold....
It may be in the next Indie Gala bundle, so it may be a good thing that you missed it.

That bundle speculation is Sacred Gold not Sacred 2. Sacred 2: Ice & Blood expansion is not available is the states due to issues with the US publisher, thus it is exceedingly unlikely that the Sacred 2 Gold would appear in any US oriented bundle. Note that Sacred 2 Gold only shows up on the gamersgate.co.uk site.

Oh right, my bad. I was thinking of the first one.

Or perhaps hell will freeze over and it will be Sacred 2 Gold. :D

Just a heads up, I found out a little trick on GamersGate.

If you see a price you like during the sale, but can't decide on it yet, you can "lock in the price" by starting the payment process, but not paying. The order info will be sent to your email BEFORE you pay, and the link in that email will have the order page that you can go back to later and pay.

For example, I went to buy Front Mission Evolved, but wasn't sure, so I didn't pay yet. Now it's off sale, and I went back to the order confirmation email and clicked the link to finish the order, and I was still able to buy it for the sale.

Not sure if that helps anyone, but I thought it was interesting.
