Alot of games nowadays seem to be very well soud oriented, but some are better suited than others. Which ones are really good enough for an excuse to get a nice sound system (ie. good bass, surround sound, high quality sound)?

so far from what I have played these seem to pop out at me:

ICO
REZ
We Love Katamari
Tekken 5
Project Justice
Shadow of the Colossus
Killzone
The Medal of Honor series

any others you think are good for this sort of thing?

I pride myself more on sound than visuals in games... I play my games on a tiny ass Comodore screen, but have a great sound system. I even have a Digital Optical cable hooked up to my PS2, and it makes a noticable difference.

yeah, even though I can't stand Halo/Halo2, the sound was mighty impressive. Are the Resident Evil games known to have good sound? For horror games I would think it would have to be manditory.
Far Cry
Doom 3
Halo 2
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Doom 3 is great. I have the sub sitting at my feet and it was thumping so much my whole body was vibratring.
It sure seems to me that alot of the WWII themed games seem to have some of the best sound... Probably becuase of saving private ryan.
