GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Gsrce, just to make sure: it's the Matrix (digibook version) on Blu-Ray right? Just the first movie and not the triple pack. Please let me know :) Thanks!

Indeed.

You've already sent me my ultimate matrix blu set =)

hey goomba, I have a favour to ask...in that lowball sale thread, I have a (currently) winning bid on the Gears of War 2 Last Stand Edition guide...do you have a rough estimate of what it would be for you to ship that from me to you? According to Amazon.com, it weighs approximately 2.9lbs. Trying to see if it's worth my continuing bids heh. Thanks!

gsrce, yeah that's why I was asking. I have no idea what to tell you about the other Blu-Ray though :( If I find out anything from them I'll let you know.

game_fanatic, you're looking at roughly $14 USD to ship to Canada for that weight. Thanks!

jesusss, well here's hoping that someone else steps up and beats my bid, that's a far cry from the $2 stated in the thread (although its partly my fault for not fully understanding the rules)

Well game_fanatic, as I understand it you only have to pay $2.00 shipping as far as you are obliged on the auction. If it costs much more then the seller has the right to ask you to pay it, and if you don't want to then I think you can nullify the bid pretty much. I'm not an expert on it, but that's my understanding. So best of luck to you!

Can you guys (Goomba and game_fanatic) fill me in on the status of Canadian eligibility on that lowball sale. I would bid on quite a few things. Sucks that we're continuously getting the shaft on things like this.

Basically, could we have everything sent to your address (paying by ourselves for the initial transaction) and then paying once again for the second, all-at-once shipping + convenience fees.

Then again the whole thing sounds like it could be a lot of trouble for ya.

jeffx, it is my understanding that Canadian buyers are generally welcome. Some items may weigh more (guides, systems, etc.) but as far as I understand shipping is $2.00 USD regardless of US/Canadian/Japan living address. The only exceptions are again for items weighing more than say 6-8 oz. (typical game weight). I have 90+ items in the sale myself so I'm shipping to Canadians obviously and assume many others are as well. Best of luck!

I guess my problem is I have 0 feedback, despite having used your service a few times and made quite a few trades/purchases in the past 4 years that I've been registered here.

You actually have an iTrader feedback of "2" JeffX. I gave you feedback as did another CAG. You only need 25+ feedback to list items, not to bid on them :)

Speaking of iTrader feedback, I just remembered to give you positive feedback from when I purchased a 12-month gold subscription card a couple of months ago. Would I be able to get some positive iTrader feedback as well? I still have the receipt if it's needed for proof.
You actually have an iTrader feedback of "2" JeffX. I gave you feedback as did another CAG. You only need 25+ feedback to list items, not to bid on them :)
The details of the bidding say international bidders are required to have 10+ feedback.

Maybe this restriction does not apply to the items you sell though.

I hope you're right about that, goomba. I suppose I'll have to wait for official word from dv8mad on the shipping costs for Canadians; if I have to pay $14USD to get that GoW2 guide, I might have to retract my bid, since that's more than three times the amount of the item itself.

Hey Goomba,

Sorry for taking awhile to make a decision on Halo 3 ODST (Figure + Gift Card) I wanted to stop at my local Toys r us to make sure the GC would work here up north.
Do you want me to put in as a direct request seeing as it is an instore deal rather than a website. Do you know if the Preorder bonus (extra character) is available at your TRU? (Won’t effect my decision to buy the game)

Thanks again!

RavenousBear, I went ahead and left you feedback :) No receipt needed lol. Thanks again!

Azumangaman, I'm going to be doing my own super lowball sale with other CAGs pretty soon if you're interested. I'll be using my automated system which will be easier for folks to add in their own items. You're more than meeting my minimum requirements as a seller :)

Cashinstinct, oh I didn't realize there was a 10+ restriction on international buyers. My mistake sorry. I'd be more than happy to have you send items to me though if you were interested. If you bought enough you could definitely save a ton of money (some game prices are ridiculously low in this lowball sale). So if you'd be interested just let me know :)

game_fanatic, yeah I think dv8mad has said in the past it's really up to the sellers. But most of them know the rules when they list the items, so it shouldn't be much of a problem to work out something with them. Many of us sellers simply need to unload all of these games and items that we stockpile, so if they make a little bit or come out practically even some won't even complain. Of course some are flipping and hoping to make money, but that's risky anyhow.

dancrane212, Yes please put in a Direct Request so that I know to put it on my calendar of things to do. Just makes things a lot easier that way :) I don't know about the extra character or not, but I assume that if there is a pre-order bonus that they'll have it. They generally do anyhow.

telepathy, I did get your DR's :) I just have been busy at work (going to work again in twenty minutes again). I will send you invoices now ^_^ Thanks!

** Great deal on External 1TB Harddrive **

Hey guys, not sure if you are interested, but BestBuy has a 1TB External Harddrive (USB) for only $65 (+6% Tax) today. It's listed as a Mac product, but if you format it with NTFS it works perfectly with Windows of course. Let me know if you are interested. This is almost 50% off MSRP for this item. Thanks!
I hope you're right about that, goomba.
Shipping/Payment:
As this is a special event being held by multiple great CAGs, the shipping will be $2 per item to balance things out. In the event that you happen to win multiple items from one CAG and grossly overpay on shipping, they will certainly refund you some of your payment.
If you see the item number preceded by #, then please be aware that you will more than likely be asked to pay actual shipping costs.
* CAGs outside N.A. should have at least 10 iTrader and will be asked to pay actual shipping and possibly a very small packing fee for materials.
CAGs in Canada are considered international and will be asked to pay actual shipping, but will not be required to have 10 iTrader.
Looks like we do have to pay actual shipping costs.

Skwerl, thanks I got your DR and sent the invoice. Update: I see you paid already. Excellent! Item has been ordered.

Sinath, please send a DR for this item if you are interested. I believe it's available only for a very limited time.

Gombay, sorry to hear that. I must have missed that part. The good news is that actual shipping costs for GAMES is not much more though systems and guides will be pricey. Thanks guys!

Sorry for the delay goomba. I'll have to pass on the prestige edition for modern warfare 2. My friend ended up just pre-ordering the regular edition and I really should save $$ for my upcoming vacation so I'll have to pass on this order, sorry. Would of been sweet to get. :(

CrushEm, it's not a problem :) I have a few other people who are going to get the hardened version so no worries. Thanks for letting me know though, I'll go expunge that order :) Oh and hope you have a great vacation. Where you going?

Sinath, I'm going to go and send you an invoice now. Thanks!

goomba i sent u a direct request, if possible could you bid on the item during the last minute?

also, i would like to increase my max bid amount to $100

edit: 3hrs left... hope you log on CAG soon!

Well, what does that even mean? People on ebay ask from anywhere between 3-4$ to 12$ for ONE game. Anyway I bid on a bunch of games but the thing ends in a week, I'm sure to be overbid on most of them.

Well, on ebay it seems like some people just put whatever they want for shipping, but I think it's around $3, which isn't bad.

preelude, just so you know I always use sniping programs (that bid on the last second automatically) so whenever you tell me your max price that's what I put into my program. If we win, then you pay what you won the item for and if we lose I refund you in full (no risk there!). We were outbid anyway so my sniping program didn't kick in. Please remember to try and give 24 hours notice for eBay items to ensure enough time to invoice and all that fun stuff :)

telepathy, I was working late today but I will figure out how much you paid/credited towards your account and we can go from there. I will get back to you tomorrow. Thanks!

witenite, I am glad you contacted me :) I'm sorry it didn't work out for Band of Brothers Blu-Ray (about 8 months too late lol) but I hope to help you with other items in the near future.

jeffx, yes people charge whatever they want on eBay for each item. So you just look at what the person charges to ship to the USA. The best thing to do is buy from buyers who offer free shipping to the USA :) Also, if they charge more than $4.00 per game you can report them as it's against eBay policy these days.

Gombay, thanks for putting the extra info in there for me ^_^ Appreciate it.

dancrane212, thanks so much. I hope I can get all the pre-order bonuses for you! I will try as hard as I can to secure them!

Are you serious ebay has a policy for having it cost more than $4 per game? I've only ever seen one seller (who scammed me after years of business -- only shipped half of what I ordered hence why I'm glad your here to help us out (you are cheaper anyway)) ever charge that low on eBay.

Oh okay well shipping to Canada is different (duh!) I forgot about that for a second :) Shipping to the USA I meant is limited to $4.00 per game. There are ways around it of course (you can do calculated shipping for instance and say the game weighs 10 pounds if you want to, or you can add in a handling fee of as much as you want) but doing so I still believe is a reportable offense if the seller has no reason to charge so much (for instance the game doesn't come with a Wii Fit balance board, a multi-DVD bonus set or something that would make it heavier/more costly to ship).

But yeah, it's a US restriction mostly. I think sellers can charge whatever they want internationally. Sorry for the confusion on that one :)

Wow, you scared me there for a second Goomba. The cheapest I can ship a game out for is around $6 at the Canada Post, and I think that's freakin' robbery.

Btw, playing Mario Kart is hilarious when I bump into the Goombas.
preelude, thanks so much. I put in your bid on your item. Hope we win it ^_^ Thanks again for using GFC!
no, thank YOU for offering your services. :applause:

my fingers are crossed... but if we don't win then we'll have to try again until we do :bouncy:

yeah :) If we don't win, it's at no risk to you so might as well try ^_^ The last one wasn't far off from what you were offering, so it's worth a shot if you ask me!

** GFC Update **

Just so you know, this past Monday (yesterday) was Labor Day here in the US. It's a federal holiday which means banks, post offices and almost all stores were closed. So the mail is a bit behind by a couple days due to this holiday. Now that it's behind us, more of your packages should be pouring in the next few days. So if you don't see me posting much here on CAG, it probably means I'm receiving your items and repacking them :) I will do a new GYRO update probably tomorrow night. Thanks guys!

hey goomba, I'll be sending you the money for the blu-ray set soon! I just thought I'd let everyone else know about it, giving how it's an amazing deal!

Right now Amazon.com has the set "When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions" for $18.99USD, and through goomba's services, its $27USD total, making it a hair under $30 SHIPPED for this astounding BR documentary. Here's the Amazon link, and here's a couple reviews for those that are interested!

edit: I forgot to mention why this was such a great deal through goomba! This set is currently listed at over $55 on Amazon.ca and Best Buy, so you're saving about 50% after taxes and such! Cheers!

Thanks for the plug Game_fanatic. I'm actually quite tempted to pick up one of those myself (I'm a big space nut actually). I imagine they look quite beautiful in Full HD with Blu-Ray. Thanks again!

Well the set has a looot of archived footage, and it's presented in 1080i, not 1080p, so it's not breathtaking by any stretch, but it's no slouch, either! It's definitely a set you buy for the content as opposed to the sound/video quality.

Haha well I'm sure it's a lot better than VHS (which is what my past space documentaries were on lol). So ... yeah :) 1080i is still breathtaking in my book. I'm sure the content is more than enough to knock my socks off!

Goomba, just received everything but Origins today -- just in time for my heavy load of classes starting (introductory days over).

The case also has an extremely tight fit, but it fits (atleast it's snug). It's kind of funny considering I do need my extended battery to get that safety snug fit.

The only thing I'm weary of is I may scratch the corner of the battery (but the battery goes away anyway when it's dead) because of the rounded corners.

Anyway, everything was in great condition as always although, the popped air bag was an odd touch. I assume that was the xacto knife barrier?

Hey guys, as promised I will be updating the GYRO system tonight. Yesterday they kept me 4 hours at work longer than I expected and today I am at my university job, but when I get home around 7PM or so I will get back to GFC DR's and GYRO updates. Thanks!

RoganSarine, glad to hear the case fits (even if it's a bit tight). Best of luck with that. I just got your Origins in so I'll have that out to you very soon. And yeah, the air bag wasn't popped before so must be a good thing I included it there.

telepathy, I will update you tonight but I'm pretty sure all but your most recent orders are in. And yes, the Muramasa preorder gift came in as well (and looks great!). Thanks!
