I know this isnt technically a deal per se but I thought this Limited Edition pre-order looked cool and it comes with lots of little trinkets:

Sweetness. My game shipped from Kentucky today so there should be no reason why I dont have this in my hands tomorrow or Wednesday at the very latest. Cant wait!

Checked mine and I have a shipping number as well as information updated on UPS. Nice to hear that 2K is going to be very good about replacing any broken Big Daddies (even initially saying they will be covering shipping etc) and the Art Book should be cool as well.

Got my call from "Aerus" about an hour and a half ago.

If you're worried they won't have them for instock sale tomorrow - the games Street Dated not availabilty/shipping dated, they got stock in last week.

PHEW! What an adventure.... Every EB/Gamespot is sold out on the eastside of Washington state. After calling each store I was able to snag the last copy of the PC version in Bellevue...

Crazy day, reminds me of ocarina of time collector's edition.
 
I'm glad mine shipped. I had actually forgotten I pre-ordered it until I saw this thread.

The only bad news is they use UPS and those bastards like to take their good ol' time getting things delivered.
 
i Ordered my Le On thursday last week and had no problem at all. They had to input it manually. I paid for the rest of it tonight. I would break the arm off on purpose so i could get a replacement and the art book :).
 
Sweet, my LE shipped too, and I have my tracking number.

I kind of hope my BigDaddy is broken too. I can wait a little bit for a replacement while I enjoy a nifty art book! :)

I just got my call from the automated caller a few hours ago that told me it'll be available in the morning tomorrow. I'll pick it up and swing by BB to get House S3. Tomorrow should be a pretty good day.

Kendro, after seeing that replacement link, I almost hope that my figure is broken, due to the discount by Gamestop in addition to the free artbook 2K will send as well as a replacement figure.
 
is there any way to check availability of LE Bioshocks at Gamestop since they conveniently removed the item from online, or is it safe to say they are all called for? I appreciate any enlightening tips and I dont feel like calling every gamestop within 30 miles of where I live.

I think that you're covered as long as you preordered at least a week in advance to release. If you get a call from them, I think it's safe to say you'll have a copy.
 
I'll join the crowd: I'm kinda hoping mine is broken when I get to GS tomorrow. I might even volunteer for one, since I'm a nice guy and all.

(Of course, the discount and art book don't have anything to do with it ;)...)
 
It's not looking like I'll be able to get a copy of the PC LE. :( Would any of you be willing to pick up a copy of the PC LE if you find one? I'd pay for shipping of course.

Just to give everyone a heads up on the LE of Bioshock if it hasn't been mentioned yet. Some of the figurines that are included in the LE packs may have been damaged in shipping because of the way that they were packaged. Take Two is going to be doing a replacement program for them, so don't worry. All shipping is going to be taken care of by them as well. I don't have the website offhand, but if there is a problem with the figure, ask your local GS/EB for the website and they will be able to provide that. It came in an email today from corporate.

Edit: Just to make it clear too, since lots of people like to bash GS/EB, it wasn't a shipping error on their part, it was the fact that the box for the figure was too small and the drill on the figure was rubbing up against the plastic box it came in.
 
:whistle2:( I just got my LE version.. Alot cheaper than I was expecting.... It makes me appreicate my gears of war le. There is no metal case. The figure is cheap. The package is pretty ugly. Anyway for $10 extra not too big of deal. A whole 3 songs. Gee that is swell.

That really pisses me off more than anything. They even said it would have the "music of BIOSHOCK plus period remixes" and there's friggin' 3 SONGS on it? Pathetic!

I was told GS/EB is only required to hold games for 48 hours, which means if someone doesn't pick up their pre-order within 48 hours they can sell it to anyone.

Three moby songs? Geez. The figurine is worth it though, it can stand next to my giant yao ming, that somehow improves my OTA HD signal :):)

Ok well mine is missing the Finger next to the thumb altogether......There is no sign of the thumb inside the plastic case either. I'm gonna put it up on Ebay as a RAREz 3 finger Big Daddy!
