Has anyone tried buying an eBay gift card using the mobile app way? Every now and then someone mentions it but I don't think anyone has tried that method just in case. Also, anyone from CT tried to see if buying a physical eBay card still works?

 
For anyone that buys on eBay, they just changed the terms.  There is a new limit of redeeming $2,000 in gift cards in a 60 day period.  This is retroactive.  I am over the limit and was able to buy a gift card Wednesday, but not today.

Yes I've been trying to get someone to test this in an area where eBay is blocked but no luck.

When I use the gsdigital.me, it shows up differently on my receipt. Maybe that isn't blocked.

That GTA V boomerang... You think all of that will really stack?!?

And is there a limit to how many single copies of a game you can buy? 6 copies per platform to trade back in via 2 accounts is a lot. I could split up the purchases with my second account but I like to bank all my points in one if possible.

I wouldn't go crazy buying a bunch of copies of a single game. Safe bet is to just do 1 for each platform and say it's for your brother/gf/etc

Nope that is why I did 10% (Knowing GS extra 20% = normal PUR 10% + extra 10%)

However if I'm wrong and it is an actual 20% boost then just use the 20% credit boost for No Man's Sky as a reference.

as usual amazing work, but I'm wondering did you take into account the 20% off retailme coupon?

 
Holy shit at my bad luck. Tomb raider was $27, Persona w 13.20 and MH4U was 16.40 Saturday through Monday, I traded Tuesday when values dropped and now they are back at that level for the weekend bonus.

fuck off gamestop. I know lol only got myself to blame but holy shit at this

Someone back mentioned that they changed wording to extra 10% + 10% PUR on an ad.

I remember the original Left 4 Dead being only $4-5 base a few weeks ago, why the sudden bump on it? It's $13 base now

Even Until Dawn went up to $12 base. I can flip that again since it always goes on sale at Best Buy

The flips are even better than blackbeard's sheet shows, if my math is correct. I added a column to include the pro day bonus, plus the 20% No man's Sky bonus, so a total multiplier of 1.4. Then subtract from that the cost of the game on pro day minus the 20% coupon, which I just used blackbeard's "Pro Day 10% Off" column. That makes GTA flip back for 17.51 over the price of 17.49, so double your money plus .02

No way all of that stacks though.
 
Anyone find any decent BB to GS movers with the bump? Already did four copies of L4D2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider (for both systems). Been looking but cant seem to find anything else.

If it held true, it would be an absolute tradepocalypse. If you could buy and trade 4 copies on each system of GTA V alone you would turn $140 into $280, not to mention all the other games that are $10+ boomerangs.

You would just have a bunch of copies of No Man's Sky to cancel before the 9th
 
The gs employees see your reserves on their register screen. So its a plausible excuse to question why you have the same game reserved at 3 or whatever different stores.

I am going to use more discretion myself by only trading 1 per platform since it is a one day deal and I could see this getting someone into trouble trading 4 of the same game/platform in the same day even if done at multiple stores. If you are one of those with multiple accounts or many stores and like taking the risk then go for it.

I know they can see recent trade and purchase history (which would technically include recent pre-orders) but I don't think they can otherwise see pre-orders made at another store that are several days/transactions old (e.g. I don't think Store B would be able to see the pre-order I made for Gears 4 at Store A two months ago)

Note: For those like myself that already have $5 down on a pre-order of No Mans Sky after last weekend, I believe you should be able to put additional money towards the pre-order (like another $5) to get the 20% bonus to trigger on the stuff you trade in this weekend.

Don't cancel them, just let that credit sit for awhile. I personally try to not rub salt in the wound.Plus it's better for the rep I believe if you come in later and transfer the preorder to a new one you actually might want. Just my two cents

That's what I did with the Doom bonus. Took the unopened game back a week or so later and applied it to Battlefield 1. I may do the same with No Man's Sky

 
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but if you use the retailmenot coupon and get uncharted 4 used today for $25, it'll trade in for $30 cash tomorrow for Pro day.  Good credit to cash move plus additional money to cover gas

 
All fair points. I myself can only trade one copy of each game anyways since I have to drive 30 mins to do it, but one copy of the first 18 games turns my 340 into 540. Thats within spitting distance of the total of the only 2 things I want this fall, the new halo bundle xbone and the psvr.
 
The employees see what you reserved and where you reserved. Its a fact. Ive had multiple employees read my reserves and their locations numerous times. But it was along the lines like i betrayed them because i didnt reserve the game at their store.
 
Hmmmm... Mirror's Edge Catalyst is the only one not in stock at my home store.  Would be more beneficial to grab a copy of GTA 5 for each platform.  Has anyone been looked at funny for returning one game on each platform in the same transaction?  I know technically it's allowed, but has anyone been denied?

edit:  And should I just put my games on hold now to make sure nobody buys them between now and tomorrow?  I know they'll go back on the shelf at the end of the night, but couldn't I just request them again at 2am?

Man, its pretty damn painful seeing the potential for lots of good single-day flips, especially when you live in a town with a single store....

Good thing I'll be heading back home within a month or so :D/
