WELCOME TO THE NEW GAMESTOP TRADE-IN THREAD.

The new thread format will be a work in progress but this first post will be the promos that are active and useful information, but also wikified. The second post will currently be frequently asked questions but may move it into the first post. Post three will be historical trade-in values from before the list.

So gamestop certs can only be used on one item? I have a $50 cert and would like to use it on the b2g1 sale but im not sure if it will work.

So nothing really worthwhile. Blackbeard, the spreadsheet for BB/GS only compares BB -> GS. Do you think you could add a column for GS-> BB? I'm looking for some movers that direction and I'm sure others do too if they need to build towards elite or if they can't get eBay at their GS.

Shrike articulates what a lot of us are thinking a lot if the time. I was reading that guys post the numerous times he posted it. It was irking me and i wanted to respond. Then shrike saved me the effort. I also felt a sense of kinship to him for not being the only one enraged by stupid things. Once you get use to his responses it always hits home and leaves me with a sigh of internet relief.

Sorry I have to do the GS to BB and BB to GS comparisons manually right now in excel. I will implement it automatically in the future when the raw data is pulled.

Maybe so, but someone else stepped up to help without having resort to using insults. I think this is one of those cases where two wrongs don't make a right.

 
I got Overwatch, Pokken, and a controller.
I traded in the controller for $40.XX.

The store didn't have any ebay cards, so I ended up with some Chipotle gift cards. They should go nicely with that new promo that started today.

The first store had no problems with the B2G1 free promo. Second store pulled down all the signs. He even did a mock transaction to verify

Can't fix stupid, lazy or both, no matter how much you try. It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to figure out stuff on your own, though asking the same question repeatedly, shows you're not putting any effort into it.

Wow if you plan on dumping all 3 that you buy from B2G1, you can make $21.63 for flipping 3 samurai warriors 4 empires to BB. Not bad.

Tool the plunge traded in 2 ps4s and all my games. Kept my xbox one 1TB bought back my uncharted ps4 an Xbox one 500gb and a wii u 32gb. He had to manually override it but the Xbox one was free. So ended my day one less ps4 and games added an Xbox one and a wii u and 3 games. Kids are stoked the get wii u and xbox in their room and I retained my xbox one 1TB and uncharted ps4 in the living room :)
 
What is GameStop promo code "# 18436" ?

This is what they used to manually activate the b2g1 on a console. If I have to take one back or exchange it does that mean it effects my other two consoles or the value of my receipt?

I also have gift receipts for the people who are receiving them.

Best case scenario, poster was on mobile, had a poor connection while trying to post from the app, ended up with duplicates through no fault of their own.

Worst case scenario, this guy really is too lazy to look up what he needs, but not enough to stop from posting around here.

I feel that in either case, your response was fruitless. In one, poster got a rude reaction that didn't help their needs. In another, you just engaged a troll.

But that's just how I feel. That doesn't mean I'm actually right. I'm new around here, so maybe your post stood out to me for the wrong reason. Maybe that poster is a known troll, and I'm just here whiteknighting for no good reason. I dunno. In the end, you did what you felt right at the moment, and that's the best we can all hope to do. I mean I would try it but the whole point is that I have to buy the controllers first to then boomerang them. Don't wanna end up losing money. Just wondering if anyone could confirm either way

There's always some sort of risk. Worse case scenario you can wait for the 50% bump. DS4 controllers usually trade in for $44 then
