Yeah... When D2 first came out I played it until the disc wouldn't read anymore. I bought a second copy because it couldnt' read anymore. Then I bought a 3rd copy when they announced D3.

I've easily put more time into diablo 2 than any other game.

You can register the keys on the Blizzard store and download from there. Not the same, but not bad.

I have a starcraft key upstairs somewhere, but I also know I have quake and quake 2 keys up there too. I'd love to be able to put them in steam... it's not like quake isn't up there and activision has games there too... :(

You're talking to the dude who ended up buying a $3 copy of BioShock on Steam just to have it with the rest of his stuff because the $1 copy he got on GFWL is usually forgotten. :rofl: (And I've still got my PS3 version too...)

GTA for the crass masses strikes again. SR2 was pretty terrible, at least in single player... not sure why THQ thought a third installment was necessary.
I'll watch your video, if solely to laugh. At least it's got to be better than DmC.
Edit: Boring. I'll get it when it's $7 dollars at best buy again and potentially try the coop, if that.
 
FUUUUUUUUU Frost! The jet sequence was awesome.

But TBH, yeah, I woiuldn't have played it single player, and won't for this one.
Spent 60+ hours in SR2 but every minute was co-op with a friend.
This looks like a huge upgrade.

The barrel roll was nice -- I was impressed by the way the world swirled and the blue sky.
I just don't go for the super over the top bs though.
And if I'm going to coop, 95% of the time, I'd rather do it in something like gears or something... :\

I don't think I actually saw anything that I'd give a best of show to. If the question was, "What are you most looking forward to?" though, ME3 and Batman would be tied.

Best overall for me would be the Vita announcement.

If limited to games, I couldn't say anything stood as a "best overall", but like you, I can say I saw some awesome stuff. Like Uncharted 3, SFxT, SF3SO, Skyrim, ICO/SotC, GoW:Origins, Dragon's Crown, MGS HD Collection, SH HD Collection, ZOE HD Collection, etc.

I don't list Arkham City because I'm trying to stay "media blackout" on that and hope I'm as floored by it as I was by the first, which I'd written off as a stupid cash in game until I played it. I'm still looking forward to ME3, but I'm so burned out on ME at the moment that I can't even bring myself to finish my last playthrough of ME2... and the MS demo with kinect didn't really do it for me.
 
I don't really have a best of E3 but with that said I will say the games I am most excited about, and will be preordering.

Zelda: Skyward Sword
Saints Row The Third
Sonic Generations (I will probably be forced to buy both the PS3 and 3DS version because I love sonic).

I am excited for Mass Effect 3 but I am worried about bioware just fucking it up. Nintendo 3DS games I am excited for but it's Nintendo, they will be good.

I think the games I liked most (and will most definitely buying) from e3 were ones I was already excited about:
Skyrim (the dual-wielding spells shit looks awesome. The whole game just looks so polished)
Gears of War 3 (Horde mode looks like so much fucking fun. they've added tower defense elements)
Bioshock Infinite
Mass Effect 3
Halo 10th Anniversary fuck Edition
Dead Island (saw a gameplay video. Looks like Left4Dead meets Dead Rising 2 with better melee combat than either)

and I'm actually interested in the vita (which is still a fucking stupid name) and the Wii U (an equally stupid fucking name)

The Vita is a dumb name. But it's infinitely better than Wii OR WiiU.
