Finished the campaign in Black Ops finally. It was alright. Then knocked out 3 daily challenges in Reach. Need another 13,000 CR or so to hit Lt. Col and get that achievement, then off to Goozex with that game.

Will start up Dragon Age Ultimate once I knock that out.

But yeah, pretty much. Most sheeple are a-holes taking up space and my precious internet bandwidth. If that shit ever happened and I survived, I hope that remaining 25% was all hot chicks so we could re-populate the planet together.

Took my recently laid-off buddy out to knock back some brews tonight, so I'm too tired to play anything. Will try to finish Alan Wake or one of my other backlogged items tomorrow.

Majin actually did pretty well considering how un-hyped it was. Cheapy said on the last CAGcast that it sold amazingly on and around BF and was in the top ten of what CAGs bought through the affiliate links.

Man, just popped in Killzone 2 and I fucking LOVE IT.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying Majin so far as well. It's 10x better than the demo.

I'd say the same thing about Enslaved, but I know Frosty won't hear it. :roll:

Dude, I've done my research on Enslaved past the demo -- after Maklershed started claliming it didn't get good until 30+ minutes in, I watched some gameplay walkthrough footage from the later chapters and I still stand by my initial impressions. Nothing I saw watching later sections of the game being played made me say "Oh shit, that looks like fun, maybe I was wrong, I need to go play it now and eat my crow." :cool:

Enslaved isn't the type of game you can just watch videos for and get a full picture from that. And one of it's main draws is the story, which you would have to play through to even begin to get into it. It does far more for video games as a narrative medium than Heavy Rain ever did. I also appreciate the fact that the game has a larger variety of gameplay types than most other games this gen, which is something that you notice more by actually playing the game. I would agree with the people who claimed it is the Beyond Good and Evil of this gen. Now I'm not saying you would like the full game (especially seeing as you've already made up your mind about it), but I am saying it is getting a little old for you to continually bash the game without having actually played it. If you don't want to play it, that's fine, but you seem to bring up how much you hate it every time someone mentions it.

I had an iPhone 2g prior to selling it when I changed phones/carriers. I couldn't bring myself to buy a iPhone 4 to get Jobbed in 12 months when they released the iPhone 4g. And I really didn't want another one of those instances where the iOS upgrades stopped supporting my phone when they added new features, like Apple's choice to deny iPhone 2g people native MMS. (And I believe regular 3g people can't use the multitasking that's available now either.)

Same thing with iPad too.

At least with some of the original iPods, this wasn't really a problem -- but now that Steve has found a way to make people buy newer models for a boatload of cash. :S

Bludgeoning (Beating) Angel Dokuro-Chan is sort of the same, but not exactly.

Also, I've been interested in Majin as well it looks really cute and sounds like the type of game I'd really enjoy, I haven't played a demo for it yet. Maybe I'll get it at some point.
 
Just got back from a return visit to GS! Manager wasn't around and I sweet-talked an employee into giving me Red Dead (360) for 10 dollars off the used price! Woooo! That's all I wanted to get yesterday and it made me super happy to finally get it today. To complete the cycle of B2G1 I also picked up Uncharted 1 (fiancee mistakenly picked up UC2 GOTY and I had her return it), and Lost Odyssey!

I'm glad I played DI way before GOW3. DI was basically a clone in my mind. It isn't terrible,but it isn't that great either.
 
Hey, I'm having problems with UC1, the game infinitely spins the gold coin when I try to start it up. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Disc looks flawless and it's not my PS3.

Try deleting patch data under the game data folder, maybe?

That's what I did just a little while ago and the coin's still spinning. I'm going to go get another copy from GS. Weird considering how perfect the game looks.

Edit: Headed back to GS and exchanged it for a GH copy and it works now!

Double edit: MAN! I love the beginning of this game so much more than Uncharted 2!

Some stuff I was seeing online said the problems cleared up when they freed up space on their HDD... so if you had a full HDD, clearing stuff off might've been a solution.

Thanks, next time I have a problem like that I'll try freeing up space. I have a ton of DL games on my HDD that I'm not playing right now.

And you're right, UC1 has a better story.
