GOG Deals Thread

Funny thing is, the first time I tried to run it the DRM wouldn't let me in.

Apparently, you have to be logged into the Galaxy launcher beta version it comes with for it run. Even then it's not soloable from what I can tell. You can make a private game but then it just sits and waits forever for you to give the game name to your friends and get their asses in the game too.
How are you guys getting this? I have Witcher 1 and 2 on GOG and I haven't gotten a key for this thing, nor anything for Galaxy.

When GOG announced The Witcher 3 and Galaxy a few months back, there was a beta sign-up for The Witcher Adventure Game/Galaxy. Unless our fellow CAGs worked some GOG-beta-magic, that is (as far as I know) the only way to have obtained beta keys.

Also, @Idiotekque, if you want a key for Galaxy/Witcher Adventure, PM me, as I have one I'm not going to use.

Anyway - finally beat Erica Reed - WOW. GREAT GREAT Game. Loved it. If you like thrillers, this is a great one to get.

Awesome!!!

Blade of Darkness for $1.79 looks like a really good hack-'n-slash. Many of the reviews compare it to Dark Souls. You can't beat the price. Sale ends today, might as well jump on it.

If anyone would like a key to the closed multiplayer beta of The Witcher: Adventure Game, I have an extra.

Gone.

Bought Blade of Darkness, admittedly due to all the Souls comparisons. Looking forward to playing it.

I see it's published by Codemasters so hopefully it doesn't end up on Steam later (or worse, in a bundle.)

Me too, so odds are good that it'll get bundled soon.

You're welcome, everyone.

Sweet, I used to play Hocus Pocus when it first came out. Been waiting it to be cheap so I can be disappointed at how much worse it actually is than I remember it.

There was something I found online where some site has kind of a emulator for old PC games. I tried Hocus Pocus on there. Was fun enough but extremely basic. I would recommend doing that unless you just want to wear the nostalgia glasses.

Even with that I'm buying it as I get all these games on GOG....i'm weak to old platformers I played as shareware!!!! I played Dangerous Dave the first one the other day. Man this was hard as heck. One hit kills though it was pretty fun and OK controls though jumping was not great.

Blackwell is pretty neat...  Ok, well...  at least the first one was.  It has some neat storytelling...  but you will be backtracking all over the place.  Story is not up to Erica Reed standards, but still pretty good mystery stuff.

I was surprised that Legacy had better graphics then Unbound.

$3.74 is a great price.

Kyrandia 1-3 for me. Lots of excellent games on sale for sure with decent discounts though not great.
