I just found my Sega Nomad... in perfect condition. Anyway, I don't remember EVER playing any Saturn games, and was wondering if someone could recommend some.

There's no such thing as a Sega Saturn Nomad...it's either the Sega Saturn or the Sega Nomad, and they're two entirely different beasts. The Saturn ran CD-ROMs, the Nomad was a handheld Genesis.

In the even you ARE talking about the Saturn, for me, Dragon Force and Guardian Heroes were the best of the best. The arcade games and racers were a lot of fun too: Virtua Cop, House of the Dead, Sega Rally, Sega Touring, and Manx TT Superbike. The Saturn was THE premier system for 2-D fighting games. X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, and Night Warriors on the domestic side, X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Street Fighter, and the Vampire series on the Japanese side. Just be aware - at this point anything worth playing will probably be easy to find outside of eBay, and it most likely will not come cheap.

Just meant the Nomad. My granny had the Saturn, so I was thinking about both at the same time. Editing my OP

Good Genesis games? Toejam and Earl is an excellent game if you have a buddy to play it with you.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors is also a great game to play with a friend.

for the RPG fan these are great. Phantasy Star 2-4, Shining in the Darkness. Might and Magic, A Faery Tale adventure. For more action oriented rpgs, get Crusader of Centy, Wonder boy. For the strategy rpg fans there is the shining force series, Warsong, and King's Bounty. For action fans however there's a huge delight as the genesis is known for action. Classics like Streets of rage, sonic, boogerman, beavis and butthead, Herzog Zwei, Castlevania, Contra, Gunstar Heroes, Gain Ground, Valis, El Viento and so many more.

My necessities are listed like this

Warsong
Phantasy Star 2-4
Shining Force 1-2
Contra
Castlevania
Gunstar Heroes
Mutant League Football
NHL 93

OMG! Paco, I love you!!

I had The Faery Tale Adventure on my Amiga Commodore 600 when I was a wee thing. My mother gave it to Goodwill when I was in HS (because she thought I didn't want it) and I thought I was doomed to never be able to play it again!

I am so happy now, though I miss my Amiga and the 100s of games I had for it, this is a great day! I sense a reason to set my Genesis up again XD Thank you!

One of the best things about collecting for the genesis is that unlike the nes or snes, it's one of the cheapest systems to collect for. Fleamarkets sell the genesis games far cheaper then nes or snes games for some odd reason. I got my Phantasy Star 4 for five dollars. Same with my Phantasy Star 2 and 3. I got Warsong for two dollars.

I also heard Skitchin was pretty good. Also Don't forget about Dune and Exile.
