For what it's worth, that's likely to get lower. Amazon had it as a daily deal for $20 and the game is Steamworks so either by Steam or by retailers moving physical copies, you will likely find a better deal if you can wait. That said, I liked it.
 
Hmm...so Football Manager 2012 is 12% off. The 20% off coupon code stacks, but I GMG keeps refunding me after the purchase. Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, I missed the daily deal or I would have picked it up. $20 is my buying point for Fear 3 and I'm in no rush to play it.

It won't go anywhere. It's short as hell but great fun, in my opinion. I'm somehow the minority but the majority often seems to consist of people who labored under the delusion that somehow FEAR1 and 2 were scary games so I could be the lone sane man in loving FEAR3 along with FEAR1 and tolerating FEAR2

Looks like they are going to discounting the game further.

It's not a "Steam game", so it was never supposed to unlock on Steam, but during the beta the guys were trying to get all of the bought keys (Impulse, GMG etc) to double up as Steam keys, too, as a thank-you for purchasing before release.

I just thought that some people may have been misinformed that it's a permanent Steam game, so thought I'd mention that it doesn't unlock on Steam to avoid anyone's disappointment. ;)
 
I may have to bite on Witcher 2, I'm playing through The Witcher now (about 30% complete) and while I'm digging it, it seems that #2 improves a lot. Can someone who's played it tell me if there's less running around and if the combat system is a little more... interesting?

The Witcher 2 is better in every single way over 1. So if you are enjoying the first one you'll love the second. They continue to patch and improve it and all DLC is free for the PC version.
 
It may have to do with GMG now being able to distribute EA games. Could be a sweet deal for BF3 if there is a 15% off and 20% coupon code! Forums indicate they are were testing BF2 distribution through capsule.

Personally I'd prefer it be a Bethesda announcement, since the EA deal was known earlier this month (and confirmed by them several times). Last week there were hints that they worked out a deal with another huge publisher. I've already ordered Rage on D2D, but Skyrim on GMG would be fantastic and they've said they are doing everything they can to get those acquired.
 
So is the 20% off dead now? I just tried it on the new Game of Thrones game (which is Steamworks) but it say the code is expired.

Yeah, a Bethesda announcement would be awesome. I forgot about the D2D 15% off code until just now and it's long expired. Going to pre-order Rage from Amazon unless GMG comes up with something tomorrow.

EDIT: Just saw the 25GB hard drive requirement for Rage. Might just stick with Amazon unless GMG comes up with something crazy because that download is going to take forever.

RAGE is a Steamworks title, and will therefore naturally activate on Steam, so you can download it from Steam as well.

Raged pretty hard at this one, I did their referral thing and got a code that I hadn't used, but they took away the promo and my code as well. Their new support also blows, and they wouldn't give me a new code.

Yeah, once Gamefly took over D2D went back to shit. They were starting to get pretty good with a fair amount of deals and good preorder prices. It is like Gamefly hit the reset button on them, shame too.

Damn, I am glad I hopped on that deal right away this morning. Game of Thrones is back up to the regular price at $40 so no stacked double discount anymore. :cry:
 
Yeah it's pretty stupid that they put this code up there, claiming it's their biggest sale ever, and then take down all of the pre-order discounts, well most of them anyway. Would have picked up a couple of games had the stackable discounts still been available...

Yeah this sale seems like a massive bug-fest. =/ Pomo codes not working, pre-order discounts being removed, the front page displaying the same games, etc. It's a real let-down. :cry:
