Yeah I have it on Steam and on iPad...i picked it up over the holidays when it was 99 cents on the appstore. I think its terrible...hated the touch controls and switching them to the other type controls didnt help too much. Id much rather play it on PC or consoles but if you can get it on sale for 0.99 then there isnt too much harm done if you dont like it.

If so LoA installs in the same folders as DS... (or maybe I just installed it in the same folder, if it installs separately by default change this) It just has a different executable... So I just moved the normal DS excutable out of the folder and renamed the LoA excutable to DungeonSiege.exe and started the game via steam. I can create/save games in both DS and LoA and I can host a game in MP... Again I had no one to attempt to join but I'm not expecting any issues...

So truth be told. DS 1 is very easy to do this with.

If DS1+2 Steam-versions were sold both together VERY cheap (Especially if they were in a $1 tier in a HB), I could have good reason to want to eventually plaster my Complete Retail Versions over Steam-versions. Even more so true, if this plastering worked in such a way that I could avoid any sort of disc-checks, disc-DRM here (can't recall if these games from Retail had Disc-DRM) - and could just stick find a way to let it only use Steam-DRM.

I cannot recall if it had Disc-DRM either... I know it doesn't now. (Its weird looking back that there was a time when a game didn't have CD Keys but these are actually key less.

Other notes: I'm running Windows 8.1 and none of the DS games have actually been installed on this machine... They where all just copied over from my Steam folder on my last PC. (Which was Win 7, both 64 bit)

on the front page the deal for Tomb Raider says 75% $30 for $7.50. but when you click on the offer the msrp is $50 making it $12.50. oh well.

 
Now have 9.48 from the Playfire credit stuff. Hopefully they keep adding this for a while--I'd love to get BL2 GOTY for free or close to it next time it goes on sale via GMG.

I got an email again also. This time I have earned $4 in rewards.  I have no idea what I did but my GMG account is showing that credit now. Yay!

Edit: I earned $2 more overnight.  I'm beginning to like this rewards thing.  I tried a few things from their blog to see if it will earn me some more credit now.

Well, that explains my earlier confusion... I swore I had bought all of the Hitman games on GMG the other day/week... and I guess I had. At least at the time.

I don't know if I can buy it now... I should likely wait for a sale being on CAG. *Or I guess its always possible that Mooby will be right on the next humble bundle being a SE... :roll: (Love ya Mooby! :D/)

But, yeah - very cool to see RE4 HD come to Steam soon for PC. :D

Let me know if I can activate my retail Hitman: Contracts PC onto Steam. ;)

 
I just hope they don't fuck up this new "HD" port of RE4. The Steam screenshots have really bad lighting, which AFAIK was a big problem with the old PC port.

In that old RE4 PC (retail) release:

They fixed the lighting in UK release afterwards w/ a patch (it was released there first).

And in USA version, it was fixed out-the-box (that version came w/ the lighting patch).

Hopefully, they didn't screw-up and not implement the lighting for RE4 HD PC.

Hopefully, they fix the horrid KB/mouse controls, too.

And give it modern controller support, too.

Is it just me, or can anyone else not log in to GMG? Every time I try, it puts me back at the homepage (without logging in or giving an error).

EDIT: Nevermind, reset my password and it worked.

typically, the 25% off codes have been for pre-orders or full priced deals. The 25% off everything deal is very rare. I would imagine they'll go back to the general 20% vouchers for sale items.

It is still a better deal at GMG with the $0.10 credit now but come steam summer sale, the game will probably hit 75% off like most of the square enix old titles.

I was comparing the deals between GMG and GameFly since both of them have 25% off for that game.
