So I figured out why my credit disappeared. I somehow had two accounts, and I guess I logged into the wrong account which had a different store credit balance. My credit didn't disappear, it was just stored on another account. I had an account with an uppercase spelling of my email, and an account with lowercase spelling. I don't know who/what/when/where/why, but that's what happened. I had credit on both accounts. I contacted customer support and they're the ones that told me I had two accounts.

Account 1 had store credit.

Account 2 had store credit.

They told me I'm violating TOS by having two accounts, like I was doing it purposely, and asked me which account I wanted them to shut down. I asked them if they could transfer the credit from Account 1 into Account 2, they said no...

...and then they immediately shut down Account 1 without any further notice. My store credit is gone.

I am pretty pissed off.

I get that I can't have two accounts. But a simple "No, we can't transfer accounts" would have worked just fine, so that I could spend the credit on it first, THEN have them shut it down. I didn't even give them an answer yet.

 
I don't understand what I would possibly gain by having two accounts in the first place. They suspect me of... what? If nothing else, I'm at a LOSS by having two accounts, since I can't use my split credit on a single unified purchase.

You need a separate steam for each. I guess playfire exploits could be considered a hardcore cag pirate thing, and therefore wouldn't be common knowledge.

That would be tough... Easy enough for some random bundle repeats, but honestly how many games with rewards are you going to have on your alt? I know Drabe claims to have multiple Steam/Playfire alts so it makes him look like he doesn't care about getting banned, but I can't imagine anyone is really doing that effectively.

I wasn't aware of that. Can only imagine that they're way more paranoid, now, thanks to all the playfire business, and less willing to listen to support tickets that may be less than trustworthy.

 
I didn't think about Playfire honestly. I have an account but honestly I don't even know if it's linked to my Steam account. The rewards always seemed pretty meh to me and not worth the time (or they're always for games I've already beaten and earned achievements for anyway). All my credit should be from GMG purchases I made last winter. I still don't know how I never noticed an inconsistency between credit balances till now, I guess because the sales have sucked to the point where I haven't needed to log in for anything for awhile now.

I never had many, but GMG had a habbit of giving rewards for bundle fodder. Never to the degree of that last Rush Bros. fit, but there's often at least .95 cents worth every week or so.

Have you ever asked Bruticis who reported him? Because Bruticis said he knows who reported him (they told him they reported him, apparently) and that it wasn't me. I know it's fun to say I reported everyone, but I'm curious who actually did.

Does the code work with every game on the store?

I am interested in buying borderlands goty and borderlands 2 GOTY. The thing is I never see a bundle with both. It is always borderlands GOTY + borderlands 2 or borderlands 1 + borderlands 2 GOTY. I never know why. So I am shopping around for the best deal for both.

Tbh, it's only a matter of time before both get bundled together. 2K is just trying to milk the sales on the vanilla version while they can.

I did. And I got keys for the XCOM Classic Collection (1 key for 5 games), The Bureau, XCOM Enemy Unknown, both Enemy Unknown DLCs, and XCOM Enemy Within. Should be 6 keys total, 5 in the Collection and 1 for The Bureau is separate.

ENCORE-IFDSAL-E15OFF doesn't work with everything, but if you add an item it does work with, it'll knock off the amount from everything in the cart.

Haha I did I just didn't redeem to codes in that bundle yet...yeah you can tell I buy too many bundles...saved me some money. I almost bought Confrontation too but got that from another bundle!

That was a major motivating reason to dig through and redeem all my bundlefodder... so I could easily tell if I already own it.

 
Well, that's two days without getting new rewards counted. Sigh.

Ah well, the only thing I want is Mortal Kombat 9, and I don't want a second copy of MK Kollection, so I'll just keep the credit around and wait for a new sale.

If I don't get banned in the meantime.

I acquired: Dark Souls 2, Trials Fusion, Devil May Cry 4, AoE2HD, State of Decay + DLC, Skullgirls Complete, DuckTales: Remastered, LEGO The Hobbit, Dark Void + Dark Void Zero and Project Snowblind for Free. Can't complain :) I still think that using SAM shouldnt be a reason for ban.

They did in a previous summer sale. The cards are basically rewards based on playing time but obviously you can just run the game and go grab a sandwich.

I think fussing over trying to force and enforce people playing their games for rewards is silly really. Either give the rewards or don't. You can lead a horse to water...

I don't disagree with you but you realize there's a snitch around who's reporting people and you just gave them the ammunition they need, right? Well heavily implied it anyhow but not like GMG asks for proof.
