I'm guessing this is just an "Oh shit we need money and an actual plan!  Now that Greenlight is going away, we can't get a bunch of newbie developers that we can scam with "Bundle with us and we'll help you get through Greenlight"!

Groupees is different from IndieGala and BundleStars in that they have gone after the music section. They actually have done well with the music in my opinion. However, the BM bundles should not be more music heavy than games (quality games at that). Be Mine bundles were meant to be the upper crust per se of the groupees bundles. Humble's monthly bundles have been good (some better than others). If Groupees want to do similar with BM, then fine. I am puzzled with the current plan though i.e. release of just the first game with tease of "wait there's more to come". I think that groupees is still figuring this out instead of having everything in place at time of implementation. I wish them well as if they put out good BMs then we all benefit.

this has the potential to shake things up a little as it will take some up front money to put a title up on steam now and hopefully the shoveling of asset flips type will be reduced.

most of us remember years ago when groupees hosted better quality bundles. part of the problem for the "bundle" sites is the over saturation of shovelware type game and the allurement of "cards| and +1. Yes, I have a problem with hoarding and I know that I am not the only one on CAG with thousands of games in a backlog that I will never touch.

Tremor has Realms of Arkania: Star Trail for 3k coins and almost no one is buying it lol. I think they lowered the price, was maybe 4k before.

 
I'm probably massively out of date since I pretty much never check Groupees these days, but does anyone happen to know if I drop $21 on Be Mine Anniversary 4, if I get the $12 Realms of Arkania-tier of Be Mine 29?

Since I've got something like $52 in Groupees funbux I was thinking that might be worthwhile. If it doesn't get me Arkania then I might just pick up Arkania by itself because it seems unlikely Groupees is ever going to get anything better.

... and no even if you subscribed for cash you don't get the BM29 at any tier. It's for 10 future BMs. Plus, I'm sure it wouldn't include any limited tiers in the future either.

Not shockingly, the music is carrying it.

 
Only thing that interests me in BMA4 is Battlecrew.. which is MP only and I doubt anyone plays it but I'd be up for a bronight. Doubt enough of us are buying the bundle to make it worth it for a bronight though.. and I'm sure as hell not buying that bundle after the price increase.

I feel like the price of the Be Mine is increasing, but the value isn't. If you want people to pay for a year of this you should probably start off strong. This looks worse than they usually do.

A very reliable source told me these are some of the games from the Miller's bundle. It looks like a disaster people.Also, the BMA reveal has now passed the point where any smart person would buy it. It's $3.30 for a steaming pile of poop. Anything good revealed now would be well above the price anyone would pay for it.
