One update for the database

The GS employee told me that the trade 3 get an extra $10 deal was going to be extended to the 18th of July too

I'm having trouble finding the info I need. Since GS isn't going to honor their bonus trade in deal for the 360 slim I am wondering how much credit I will get normally when the slims come in stock. I have

20gb hd
wireless n adapter
wired headset

If anyone knows I'd much appreciate the info. Thanks!

Look at the 3rd post of this thread. At bottom of the 360 values are all the values for hardware and accessories. These are the base values they get before promos, as of the date listed. The longer you wait on a 360 trade-in the lower the values are going to get. GameStop has been swamped with trade-ins so the console itself is going to get pretty low. I wouldn't be surprised to see the non-slim base value with wireless hit $40 within the next 2 months.
 
Someone please post if they trade in their PS3 and get that $200 for it. My 80 gig is starting to freeze up a lot more than it has in the past, and I'm scared it might try to start acting up. $150 for a slim bundle sounds pretty decent to me.
 
Anyone know if Gamestop accepts broken Xbox 360s? When I mean broken, I mean it. The casing on the back, bottom and top is snapped and cracked, has one red ring (I'm guessing E74) and some colored pencil markings on it. The serial number also cannot be read. It's the old model with no HDMI.
 
It's looking like the only promo that will be active is the extra 25% credit when trading for Starcraft 2, Lego Harry Potter & NCAA 11.

I hope something is added. Got a few things to trade.
 
Oh, yeah, I forgot these from yesterday (6/26). I was trying to trade 3 games but New Zealand Story for DS is only 80 cents so I had to take 2 others out as well...

I have a question, if I trade in a memory card toward a slim reserve, would I get the promo bonus even without trading in a console? I wasn't sure if I should have, but I went ahead and traded the card anyways. Funny thing is, I took 5 other games with me:

I also had Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, but it rang up as Aliens vs Predator. Apparently, I switched the case a while back ago with a newer one. The case had an AVP sticker on the back of it and I hadn't realized it. I'm pretty sure the employee, which was very helpful by the way, noticed it after he took the sticker off, but he just shrugged it off and let me by. I didn't realize what happened until after the transaction was finished.

Hmm you should have gotten the 3 for $10 deal as today was the last day.
 
i asked the employee if they take red ringed 360's and he said not anymore. we were talkn and he said he didnt get why all these people were trading in 360s for the new ones. but yeah, he said they dont take broken 360s to answer your question.

I had about 6-9 more games I wanted to unload
 
I knew I should've got my ass up yesterday to try and trade in the games I was going to. Oh well. Hopefully they extend it a week or two, since FYE's values have really bottomed out as of late.

I thought that was the B2G1 in some places that got extended. We'll see on it all I guess soon.

Where do u see this at? the only 25% trade in promo i see is for the harry potter series

Nice new promo. Gamestop will let you trade multiple copies if you bring receipt proof, right? Might unload a couple Blur there.

But the promo still lives if you put in $50 down earlier right so I can be put on the reservation list? If not, I'm getting my money back.
 
Yeah, I also want to know if the trade-in deal for the slim is applicable for people who reserved it. Also the promo is still showing up on their trade-in offers page. So confused.

They got at least two copies from me. And assuming I can verify this 'trade 3, get $10 extra' deal is still going on today they may get about 12 games from me.

Of course, it's gonna be mostly clearance stuff I'm at least doubling my money on or free shit I have leftover from the last BB coupon dealie(aka Sudoku:lol:).

The way it stands now I'm looking at almost $100 in credit from the doubles and triples I plan on showing up with by themselves.;) And this time I'm holding onto the credit and not splurging on some newer releases.:bomb:

I will be pissed. I traded in half my stuff, and the manager told me to hang on to the rest until the console comes in.

This makes no sense whatsoever. They removed the 360 trade-in and $25 system bonus things, but left behind the $25 trade-in game promo and the renewed trade 3 get $10 extra one.
 
i cant believe they left the same daily deal that has been there all weekend. nobody wants to buy the POS game i guess.
 
Can you trade in more than one 3 game deal? I have like 35 games to trade in, I was wondering if they would let me do the deal ten times.
 
So, the slim promo has been removed (I do have a print screen I just saved), the $25 game list is still up, but it expired yesterday, and the trade 3/$10 has been extended to 07.18.10.

It should automatically do that. It doesn't stop after 3 if that's what you're saying

So I called the store where my friend works and he said that:

1. The 360 slim trade in deal is still on their active deals sheet
2. The PS# trade in for $200 is live and active today
3. The trade in 3 for $10 extra was extended, but the site says that so we knew
