Wow... I can't believe that they're charging 500 points for 3 songs...
I really can't believe that they're trying to say that it's the cost of licensing.
It's bullsh!t.
GH I - where all these songs came from sells (w/o guitar) for $40.
There are at least 30 licensed songs (not counting unlockables, etc - just what they advertise).
Assuming 30 songs - that's a cost of ~$1.33/song.
Now, that's $1.33/song for all the costs associated with the production of the game. Development, mastering, advertising, packaging, etc... Everything INCLUDING the licensing.
M$/RedOctane are now saying to us that it's gonna cost over $2.00/song (US pricing) for something that most of the work was already done on, doesn't require packaging, advertising... but they're licensed... OK... whatever.
There's been a few too many price-gouging DLCs for my liking... I won't be buying this, at least not until the price is more in line with the value.
