Isn't that the guy that worked with Romero for the international version of Dawn of the Dead? There are a several retailers selling this new for less than $20 (including shipping) on Amazon Marketplace.
Yeah its the same guy that handled international Dawn of the dead. I saw that Amazon marketplace was selling it for less, but thats nearly the same as saying you could find it cheaper on ebay. I'd prefer to order from a official source, but either way, your still getting a good deal especially considering some of the movies just came out individually.

amazon has nightmare worlds for 12.49

Stay away from Catacomb of Creepshows movies are very very bad watched (well key word is TRIED TO WATCH) 10 of them since i got them from amazon friday and turned off all of them 10 to 15 mins in.

its like they made every movie with a 50 buck video camera.

Nightmare worlds is okay but the transfers really are bad in some of the movies

if the shipping was free i would maybe try

Beyond the Grave 20 Movie Pack 4 7 bucks shipped but shipping kills it

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH found out MILL CREEK MADE THESE AS WELL

STay far away from anything to do with Mill creek. Their transfers suck and they use Cheap DVDS that wont even load up a 2nd time

I can't wait for the ads from BB, CC, and Target. I just hope they have those special edition classics on sale, like Rosemary's Baby, Halloween, and NOES.

I was really hoping Slither, Feast, and Shaun of the Dead would get bluray releases before Halloween. Guess that's not happening. :(
Speaking of movie sets, Amazon has the Halloween Blu Ray Starter Pack (Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and The Thing) for $41.95. That averages out to $13 a movie.

http://www.amazon.com/Halloween-Sta...ef=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1223391783&sr=1-8
LOL, they've got the trailer to the Romero's Dawn of the Dead instead of the one for the Zack Synder remake. I'm sure somebody is gonna buy the set thinking they are getting the original.

I don't want to go through the ads when they are sticky in this sub forum. If some one else decides to copy and paste the horror specific deals over to this thread, then I will make sure they get added to the main post, otherwise I'm not bothering with it.
Dawn of the Dead (1978) is $5 at K-Mart. Best price I have ever seen for it.
Did Kmart have a 5 dollar bin or anything for horror dvds?

Wanting a fresh start, Katrine moves into a university dormitory but quickly learns the myth about a ghost of a former resident who was killed. The myth soon becomes a terrifying reality.

Brotherhood Of Blood
Two horror legends reunite again. After the success of Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects, legendary actor Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses, Kill Bill 2) and horror icon Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead) team up again in Brotherhood of Blood, a claustrophobic thriller about a team of vampire hunters who must infiltrate a nest of the undead to save one of their own.

A father and his daughter try to escape a hospital that has mysteriously become a portal for dark creatures from a different world.

Trackman
A perfect bank heist turns deadly when the robbers and their hostages flee to an abandoned underground subway station where they encounter the Trackman, a deformed madman who prowls the darkness.

The Substitute
The sixth-grade students of a small town begin to realize that their new substitute teacher is an alien. When their parents don't believe them, they are forced to take matters into their own hands.

Dance Of The Dead
On the night of the big high-school prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn't get dates to the dance.

No Man's Land: The Rise Of Reeker
A sheriff and his son chase casino robbers, only to find that all of them are being chased by something else.

The Last House In The Woods
Young lovers escape a group of bullies seeking to harm them and then take refuge with a seemingly kind older couple... All too late, we discover that this older pair has a dark hidden secret (aka embarrassing rectal itch) which unfolds in the quiet, secluded Last House in the Woods.

Circuit City has some stuff on sale, but from a quick glance, it looks like it all carries over to the next week for the big sale.

Walmart also had in the $5 bin in KCMO

Urban Legends: Bloody Mary
Grudge 2
Friday the 13th VII & VIII (only one though in the area i could find)
Flight of the Living Dead
Buried Alive (Dimension Extreme, has Tobin Bell in it)

Flight of the Living Dead is definitely YMMV. I've seen the movie at local walmarts, but it wasn't $5, I'm thinking it was morel like $13. And the Dimension Extreme line is pretty new, so if anything DE was found in a $5 bin that would be YMMV as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

My WalMart last night had Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, Rosemary's Baby, Candyman 3, and a few other unmentioned horror movies in the $5, fwiw.

It might be very regional. I know that almost all Walmarts in the Kansas City, MO area have them at that price (I bought them).

Has anyone seen Rob Zombie's Halloween Blu-ray for $20 or under? I feel the $25+ most stores are charging for this is a ripoff.
Has anyone seen Rob Zombie's Halloween Blu-ray for $20 or under? I feel the $25+ most stores are charging for this is a ripoff.
Not yet.

$25 is a bunch, but it is a 2-disc Blu-Ray containing the Uncut version of the film, all the extras from the 2 disc Unrated DVD and the new 4 1/2 hour documentary. Far from a ripoff.

Now Poltergeist Blu-ray for $25+ with literally one extra....now that is getting ripped off.

Seen at K-Mart:

A Halloween DVD bin all marked at $5
-Dawn of the Dead
-Day of the Dead
-Creepshow
-Creepshow 2

Not a bad selection. Creepshow 1 and 2 are definitely great horror films, and the Dead series are classics.

Did you notice if Creepshow 2 was the divimax version?

My damn local CC didn't have any copies of Fright Night which oddly enough is what I wanted most. Still managed to rack up 100$ worth of purchases in CC and BB on 4.99 - 6.99 horror dvds.

Yay! Amazon had Dead Alive for only 5.99. Combine that with Amazon Prime and I'll be set for the Halloween party this weekend. Get everyone blitzed and then throw in this Peter Jackson classic. Thanks OP

It was this version. Are there any sweet extras on the divimax version?

Judging from next week's Circuit City ad, other than the Tom Savini remake of Night of the Living Dead (which is on sale every couple of months), it appears that the halloween deals are done after this week for B&M. So if anything from this week's Best Buy or Circuit City ad catches your eye, you probably ought to strike now.

Thanks for the heads up. Was able to pick up a bunch of stuff from CC/BB today (from $.99/6.99 sales)

I think I'm done with all the online/offline Halloween sales this year :)

I saw some Masters of Horror in the $5 bin at Walmart. I also saw a Dimension Extreme title (don't remember what it was) but that falls in line with what a previous member said earlier in the thread.

Looks like that Dimension Extreme title was Shinya Tsukamoto's Nightmare Detective. Thanks for spotting that, I'm all over awesome $5 Japanese Horror! Must go tomorrow and scout it out.

Yeah, after I made the post, I found a list of new stuff in the bin on another forum. Most of the stuff I saw myself, but I actually didn't see Nightmare Detective, but it was spotted by someone else.

Checked two stores bins today and didn't find this. Hoping to nab it somewhere! Anyone seen/bought it?
