Humble Bundle Thread

Kinda want Deathtrap but not at the bta price. Probably gonna $1 and see what gets added. Stuck with the current $5.34 BTA because I lost track of time looking at hummers on Govplanet.

BTA tier for Hand of Fate and Deathtrap doesn't look bad, although the cheapest I've gotten is around $5.34. $1 tier looks like hot garbage, though.

I only really want Deahtrap, so I'll probably wait until the next week unlocks to see what happens and maybe split it with someone if the unlocks suck.  I want Viscera, but $5 seems to much to pay for it, even with the DLC.

In for $40 for plush pig.  Hand of Fate is something I've had my eye on.  Death Trap looks okay-ish.  If Craft the World were in the $5ish tier it would be a no brainer for me.  The $1 tier games look awful.

I'm tempted by the $10 tier, but I'd probably want a second copy of Craft the World. I might be interested in splitting at least the top tier with you.

Hand of Fate is definitely worth playing but I grew tired of it halfway through. Luck plays a big part and it's not exactly a quick game. Well worth playing for a few hours at least though.

This bundle is me finally getting Deathtrap at a sale price and having a few +1s thrown in. I'm happy.

:whee:

In for the BTA. Didn't have any of them. Already have Craft the World, and Viscera doesn't interest me enough for the $10 tier.

If you want a second copy of Craft the World, we could definitely split the top tier evenly so you get it and I get Viscera. PM if you are still looking for it.

If he doesn't I might be interested. Would want Craft the World and Hand of Fate. We can fight to the death for the unlocked games.

Oh man... I might just be riding that Moran bus too. A few of these are on my wishlist. It's better than 4 Poopee's or 5 Gala HH Bundles.

But seriously... what the fuck with that $30 pig? :bs:
You're subsidizing shipping for the Third Worlders and European Socialists.

One World One Price.

I'm really not that interested in the BTA tier's contents... neither game looks interesting, and Craft The World doesn't look like I'd enjoy it. All I want is Viscera Cleanup Detail. Argh.

Also that Drift game is really, really eh. And Snakebird is much more difficult than I thought it'd be.

All 3 of the $1 tier games look like they should be headlining a Groupees bundle tbh. I am going to buy em but not particularly excited about it.

if a bundle doesnt make you feel a little guilty, like you just paid for a hooker then its not doing its job...they should never be great, or fulfilling...all they should do is fill that empty void you have for a short period of time...then you regret it later...

rinse repeat

MORANS UNITE

You're not going to see a Nicalis game (1001 Spikes) in a Groupees bundle.. ever. I imagine they'll stay Humble exclusive.

I actually finished Cibele in 55 minutes....ummmm....not really sure what to think. It actually made me slightly nostalgic for when I used to talk in Yahoo and AOL chatrooms and how I met some people around that time and when Myspace was popular. I honestly think Emily Is Away is a bit better, though this one is somewhat realistic. It kind of reminds me of an experience I had, but not quite to this extreme at all. I think it was OK, but I would not pay more than maybe 50 cents for it. The characters were somewhat annoying as well, though I can understand where they come from.....just interesting.

Have I got a site for your. It's called www.groupees.com

Scroll down and chat away just like it's the 90s all over again. Except with weird foreigners.

Guys, you don't want Craft The World. Seriously. Not at this price. Unless you're a masochist who likes grinding. I ranted about it on Steam a while ago and I'll rant again here:

Craft The World - wrong title. Grind The World would be far more appropriate.

What starts off as a cutesy Dwarf Fortress Lite with Minecraft crafting elements (hence the "Craft" in the title) gradually descends into a grinding experience. There's only 3 worlds to beat and I'm stuck on World 1. You can't play 2 until you've beaten 1, 3 until you've beaten 2. That doesn't sound too bad until I got stuck and did a bit of googling - world 1 should take you around 20 hours. TWENTY. And here's the thing, to "beat" the level you need to carry out enough research to unlock the "Compass" spell which tells you where five magical portal pieces are. Get the portal pieces, put them together, move onto next level.

Where all your research and dwarf-levelling is reset.

Great.

It wouldn't be so bad if crafting the higher-end stuff wasn't a chore, but it is. You need incrementally more materials to craft incrementally more items to that provide less and less experience towards your goal. That's grinding whichever way you paint it.

I was really enjoying CTW but I've come to the conclusion that once I've beaten World 1 then I'll consider it finished. It just loses its charm as you progress.

I'm not sure if this thread is for moaning about games but I'm in the mood and this is all typed so it can stay here.

Obligatory

Seriously. Buyer beware. Wait for cheaper.

What? These bitches cancelled the Sonic bundle just because it got leaked early? Oh Humble. how many more times are you going to make me set the Humble Tip to 0%? I've already been doing it for two years because you auto-priced the BTA tier and now you've insured that I'll be setting the Humble Tip to 0% for another two years AND pennying in to EVERY bundle to drive down the BTA... for EVERY Bundle!

Eh, I'm glad the Sega bundle got cancelled (or delayed?). Maybe I wouldn't mind it if each tier wasn't a single key, but as it was the only game I'd be missing was Sonic Lost World and I'd potentially be stuck with a single key for the whole bundle (worst case scenario), or having to sell off the rest of the games as 1 key per tier (best case scenario). I think at that rate I'd rather wait for the game to be dirt cheap on its own.

I'd much rather that slot be filled with a Hamble bundle than a Sega.

Yep. I don't know where I got it, but it gets very grindy. Somehow I put 18 hours in it, but I am not really sure how.

Likely just get the $1 tier....I already have Hands of Fate on the PS4 and beat it (pretty fun and challenging). While it is a bit random you make your decks and know what to expect. I loved when you got some challenging cards you couldn't get rid of in your deck until you beat their challenge. It was great while going through the story, though I found the endless challenge boring as heck. Treasure trap room is the best....I recommend including it in every deck and getting used to playing it. The rewards are usually excellent. Viscera cleanup still looks pretty lame....I will get that when it's in a better bundle.

You guys are going to pick on lostnumber until his other brother hacks his account and tells us all to fuck ourselves.

LeaVE LOSTNUMBER ALONE!!

... huh.

Apparently there's a new option in the store... called Humble Wallet. You can add funds to the site and use them in purchases, but you can't use said funds on bundles. Anyone seen this before? A buddy says it got added last week.
