Humble Bundle Thread

It's probably just me, but I consider voxel to be an homage/rip-off/leech of Minecraft. And a sign that you don't have anyone on your design team with any significant degree of artistic ability.
Well except that MInecraft was a rip off of other games and was a voxel game itself...so ...cube chicken or cube egg.

That's not a bad weekly. If this is this upcoming week's bundle, that makes three pretty good weeklys in a row.

I won't have bought any of them though, haha...no interest in the Bohemia bundle, own the three best games from this weeks bundle, and already own both overlord games and I'm not interested in the other games, really.

Sure, I'll grab a weekly bundle with games that have DRM that will render them useless in a few months. Because Codemasters always keeps their games updated and never go out of sale.

(Did I do this correctly?)

Honestly one shouldn't wait too damn long to pickup Codemasters games.... they're happy to let licences expire... I'm happy to have Dirt 1, 2, & Fuel.

I really should jump on this deal but my spending budget for the month will be hit once I use my last 2 EC coupons, and get the Brave New World DLC from GameFly on the 28th... Don't think I want the Wife factino hit.

/sigh first world problems

Where's m3h Popcap Humble?!!?  Crappy Codemasters!  Have the Overlords.  1 was okay.  2... got bored of the same schtick.  Racing games are poop.

Hm. Well I thought it over and I'm not even ponying up for the $1 tier on this Humble. I like the idea and I think it's great for folks that enjoy audiobooks (my mom loves them), but they're not really for me. Even having Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart and James Earl Jones collectively reading a book wouldn't do it for me. I listened to a Doctor Who book read by David Tennant a year or so ago and it wasn't that terrific an experience; the story was a bit weak to begin with, and while Tennant put in a valiant effort, there's just something about having a book read to me that lacks any appeal. I do enjoy audio plays, which are much more immersive, but I guess I'd rather just read a book myself.

Humble Popcap isn't happening because it's the one bundle you would actually buy and the universe just can't handle that.

My problem is that their is nothing in that bundle that truly interests me... or what is cannot get over the feeling that I'm just not going to like having a book read to me. (I would want a print version to read along with... and there's a good chance I can read it faster than they can speak it.)

You can't even pay $1 to get your mom some audio books? Tsk tsk.

Sounds like you had a wonderful childhood, reading alone.
I read alone, yeah
With nobody else
I read alone, yeah
With nobody else
You know when I read alone
I prefer to be by myself

Every morning just before breakfast
I don't want no coffee or tea
Just me and good buddy Clancy
That's all I ever need
'Cause I read alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I read alone
I prefer to be by myself

The other night I lay sleeping
And I woke from a terrible dream
So I called up my pal William Gibson
And his partner Bruce Sterling
And we read alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I read alone
I prefer to be by myself

The other day I got invited to a party
But I stayed home instead
Just me and my pal Friedrich Nietzsche
And his brothers Schopenhauer and Hegel
And we read alone
Yeah, with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I read alone
I prefer to be by myself

Yeah, my whole family done give up on me
And it makes me feel oh so bad
The only one who will hang out with me
Is my dear Old Grand-Dad
And we read alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I read alone
I prefer to be by myself

bread's done
