Alright, so I'm in for a $9 monthly bundle with Sonic Mania. My commitment can only assure you all that overall quality of the upcoming reveals can only go down from here.

I don't feel too bad about Battletech though. I like strategy games enough to suffer through one that seems a little under-cooked.

it's just the base game we're lucky we're getting DLC for Battletech with how stingy Humble is with offering complete packages or DLC included.

I've been wanting to play Swords of Ditto, so I went with the beat the average.  The others are just a bonus.  I expect DiRT 4 to end up as a freebie sometime this decade since every Codemasters game eventually ends up as a freebie on Humble.

See, guys, I'm learnin'!!!  :D/

Did you check your other possible outlets as well?  Bundles are getting to be so much work.
Check if you have the games on Steam.
Check if the games are Xbox Game Pass or given away by Twitch Prime, Epic Game store, GOG, Uplay or Origin.
Soon you might even have to check if it's on Playstation Now or Google Stadia.

Tl;dr-
Twitch Prime had already given out Swords of Ditto and Bomber Crew.

I don't have Twitch Prime so I didn't have to check anything! :whee:

No interest in another COD game, but Crash and Spyro next month seems solid.

October unlocks seem to range from "meh" to "blegh".

Looks like some really blah unlocks so I'm glad I skipped last month.  This month is rough, I wouldn't mind COD at this price point and I've been really wanting to get spyro, but I would much rather have it on the switch.  I don't know if I'll ever play it on my pc, but its a heck of a lot cheaper than forking over ~$35'ish just to have it on console...

Decisions decisions

I would rather have crash/spyro on PS4...well I already do own Crash and COD WW2 as well (junkish early unlock honestly IMHO). This months unlocks after the teasers were rather meh. I have been eying The Spiral Scouts so that is a win at least. I am likely to pause. Also with the early unlocks around $140 (gross overestimation of value I think) does that equal like $50 MSRP of unlocks? Seems a bit weird is all.

Why? Crash/Spyro run at 60 FPS on Steam. They run at 30 FPS on PS4. Spyro literally just came out (on Steam) last month. This is the best Humble monthly yet. I think it's worth the price alone for Spyro

When I tried Crash on PS4, the 30 FPS cap made a noticeable difference to me. Steam is definitely the way to go if you're actually gonna play it. I imagine it's the same for Spyro.

As I warm up to the idea of playing CoD solely for the SP (WW2 SP just scratches an itch for me), I'm starting to feel the same way. Three keepers from a publisher that's notoriously stingy with discounts.

$12 alone for Spyro is a great deal since I’ve been eyeing sales on that since it’s PC release (FYI Spyro is not on any of the key reseller sites). Already own Crash on pc, but will give the COD campaign a try and the other unlocks will be a bonus for me. Spyro for $12 alone makes it an easy month to subscribe for me.

I’ve had all three early unlocks on my wishlist (ps4 or pc would have been fine) and paused 6 months in a row. Finally a monthly built for me

Unlocks for October? Don't care, too distracted by the amazing early unlocks for November.

Considering Activision's price-jacking (Spyro/Crash are ~$50US) and poor discount history; how much time I spent playing Spyro 2 when I was a kid; and that I very nearly bought Spyro at full price when it launched... best Monthly ever IMO.

Spyro alone, Crash alone, or COD: WW2 alone would've sold me on this bundle.

All 3 together = N-SANE.

Instant purchase.

We need more Humble as Epic and as Stacked as THIS.

As awesome as this is, can I subscribe for one month...and then cancel? Asking...for a friend. Oh, wait. I don't have any friends.

Haha I was actually pleasantly surprised with the unlocks. Funny that I feel so much differently about it than everyone else.

Planet Alpha wasn't even on my radar, but it looks beautiful. Check it out if you like platformers and haven't seen it before. Avernum 3 is a little old school, but I wanted it. I'm a Sonic fan, so I wasn't real salty about that early reveal.

Maybe not as good as the next month looks, but I did manage to pick up 3 games I'll actually play for $9.00

Yeah at first glance i wasn't thrilled with the unlocks but at second glance i somehow skipped over avernum (the series is supposed to be really good crpgs, so i'll take it), and after looking more into the games in the bundle planet alpha looks like it could be a decent enough platformer and it is really good looking. And spiral scouts is a puzzle game that has really good user reviews on metacritic, and an 85 and 78 from critics (only two critic reviews), so i decided to keep that as well. Already had Sonic Mania from ps plus so i just sold it along with battletech.

Very upset that I paid full price for Crash and Spyro on PC and PS4 and Spyro on Switch. You're welcome.
I bought Yakuza 0 during a Steam sale, then it was a Humble Monthly headliner a month later. I'm hoping for Kiwami 2 to be a headliner in the future, to even the score.

As for these headliners, they are definitely strong but I'm not sure how much they would appeal to me. I don't have nostalgia attached to these games. An interesting aspect is that if Activision is this persuadable, perhaps it's time for Square Enix to give one of their JRPG titles eg. Final Fantasy XV, as a headliner.

Glad I passed on a copy of Crash for $3.75 from a local Gamestop during their PC games clear out. This is a tremendous deal. Tremendous.

Yes. You can even cancel straight after subscribing if you don't care about the Humble Store discount. You don't have to wait until next month, and you still receive the rest of the bundle.

ATTENTION: We have run out of Steam keys for Override: Mech City Brawl. We are getting more ASAP. We will have Steam keys for you as soon as they are available again!

First time I've seen that happen in a monthly bundle.
