Humble Bundle Thread

Nah, that Palinn's all about the human trafficking: he wants actual Giana Sisters to trade for his virtual ones.
I've got my eye on a batch of really cute Giana Brothers but the virtual world does not like to reward us gals with such eye candy so I must wait for that type of trade. Life. Hard. *sigh*

Whoa what happened? It's almost like Humble doesn't suck anymore.

Also I personally feel like some of the games in the $1 lineup would have been better to headline than the BTA lineup. I know Guacamelee in particular almost everyone raves about.

Not that I am complaining about getting Guacamelee and the Swapper for $1 mind you.

Hmmm. Second copy of the bundle for my wife on the HTPC or not? Looks like the only game that would work for multiplayer is Monaco.

Might be best to just look for a spare Monaco.
If the BTA is something decent that I don't own you can have mine. Otherwise there might be someone else around who already has it but doing BTA for Antichamber.

Guacamelee has drop-in/out coop (but I fuzzily recall it's local coop)
Steam says local multiplayer on that one, which means no need for a second copy. I'd say she could play single-player stuff on her account via family sharing, but that would mean I can't play at the same time. I wouldn't have thought that was a problem until just recently when I introduced her to Go Home Dinosaurs and we both learned she really likes casual-ish Tower Defense games.

Thanks. I'll hope I can find a copy of Monaco for now. I'd just grab the $1 tier on her account, but I'm not sure she'd play any of those platformers. On the other hand, cardz.

I grabbed Dust. That and Guacamelee are the only ones that call to me in the dorrah tier. If I end up BTA'ing this thing I'll send you my link so you can randomly drop again. ;)
I was hoping you'd get one of them! If I end up BTAing next week I'll have a copy of Monaco to drop as well.

O weewee?  If the additions are good I'll BTA, too.  Monaco and Antichamber are 'on the fence' for me but it wouldn't be too hard to tip it over for a few buckaroos.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up grabbing a BTA. If they add games I should be able to unlock them right? Or would I have to BTA again?

Greetings to the 50 guests, 3 anons, and 19 FBers.

Now, who wants my copy of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams? First to quote this gets it... Claimed!

Bonuses of the past few have been underwhelming.  Hopefully that changes.  Although it seems like they put a lot of notable stuff up front this time.

Anyone having problems getting their bundle? I beat the average, PayPal sent me the confirmation email, but I haven't received an email from Humble Bundle for the downloads and this bundle doesn't appear on my account.

Try the box at the top of your account page that says "claim past purchases". Click the plus sign and see if it's listed there.

Wow..what a bundle! Didn't own any of the games. One of the few times I didn't have to blame Mooby. Good thing too because  I was running out of cop buddies that were 1 day away from retirement.

Ah, what the heck, to celebrate the awesome Humble Bundle 11

I saw some talk about keeping a browser page open to temporarily "lock" a price. Then I saw some people say they were afraid when it started going back up. Don't refresh the page! Just open a new tab and keep whichever is lower.

Man, I have every single one of the games in this Humble Bundle... and I can't be mad. This is simply a great bundle. Way to restore faith :)
Same here and I don't regret buying any of them. I just wish I could have the thrill of buying all of them for the first time for under $4. ;)

Amazing bundle.

I am fighting the urge to buy one just to lock in the BTA in case the extras are good this time around too.

Dust is cool, but I had my fill of combo-based fighters with Guacamelee. That and the volume levels seem completely out of whack...

I'd suggest penny-locking. But if you own everything... well I doubt the bonus(es) would be worth $4 alone.

I beat them both within a month. Completely different imo. Combat is Dust can get /faceroll easy... the highpoint of dust for me is the exploration. (I 100%ed it.)

Yup. Exact thing just happened to me. I only paid $1 though. I got my email receipt from Paypal, but when it sent me back to Humble, it was stuck on "processing payment" and just never did anything. No record of the purchase in my Humble library either. I sent them an email about it, but of course they're receiving a "high volume of emails".

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes them to straighten this out...and I hope they have a way of knowing what the average was when orders were placed. It was $4 when I placed mine.

Mine eventually came through. They're probably just getting hit hard with a lot of traffic (even though I've never had this problem when I've purchased early on during past bundles).

Paid 1 cent above the average, but it took several minutes for it to get through, so I don't even know if my purchase counts as above the average now that it has risen. 5 minutes later and I still don't have any games to show for it. This is the first time in a Humble Bundle that I've had to wait any longer than a minute for the goods.

Oh really? So, you just eventually got the email from them...or did they just show up in your account? Yeah, I've never had this problem either. And it made me nervous when their explanation for "Why didn't my games show up?" is "Your payment probably failed". Nope...got proof of my payment. Your website failed, lol.

Yeah, I left my processing tab open for about 20 minutes and it finally went through and the games were on my account.

It came in. Thankfully it counted as above the average. They probably go by time of initial payment and not by time of payment processed, thank goodness. Good reference for the future.

Actually, it's neither of those things. The average shown on the top of your browser screen travels with your info through the checkout process. It won't change during your purchase.
