Humble Bundle Thread

Yeah I heard about how popular it was a while back, but that seemed to have died off. Seems like only chinese and russians play it nowadays (and possibly koreans?) if you go based on the user reviews on steam (which can be completely unreliable sometimes).
I noticed the Russian or Poland/Czech thing as well. I can't really find many recent videos on youtube (over the last week) of people playing it in 'American'. The vids are all foreign.

Bro, I would take a bundle with maybe two or three of the lower tier games on my wishlist for $8 BTA.  Also I can't think of too many Bethesda games I'd want.

I just bought that Spider game too. But OTOH I think I have all the rest of those so all it would have netted me was 24 cents less and bunch of extra bundle fodder keys to get rid of so eh.

Eh, 10000000 and You Must Build a Boat were like a dollar ages ago (you got YMBAB for free if you bought 10000000), so all I'm missing are Spider, Please Don't Touch Anything, and Desktop Dungeons.

I'm actually OK with this bundle. Don't have anything from either of the first two tiers and a $3 BTA is always nice.

Also, Humble added an extra zero to "10,000,000". Really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

I have 100-or-so and Boaty, but nothing else.  I'd been on the lookout for extra copies of both of those for my wife's account.  Solid bundle for me.  Just need to decide if I want to pony up the extra $4+ for the top tier.

They knew it was Foxhack's birthday.

I don't have any of these so I'm probably in for the $3 tier, pending those juicy unlocks.

Meh.  About $2.50 too high for the top tier.  Honestly, 1000000000000000/Boat and Knights of P+P 2 are the only games I want.

It's really amazing these devs will shoot themselves in the foot like this. Most of these games are 75% off in the Steam Sale.

I don't really like playing mobile games on the PC but I also almost never play mobile games.  So... uhhh... I dunno.

I'd be in for Boaty McBoatbuilder (I liked 100~...) but I don't know that I'd want to drop $3 on that knowing that I'll never play the others.  Make more sense to wait on a sale for that via Google Play.

I liked the original KoP&P but hell no for $7+ :speaktothehand:

FWIW The Spider game is by the Waking Mars devs. I'm usually bleh about playing mobile games on the PC myself but I've played that game on both and felt like it plays better on the PC. Even the devs said the same when they did finished the port and sounded a bit surprised by it.

Anyway that's why I bought it on the Steam sale. Well that and thinking gee it's been a long time and it hasn't been bundled yet. waaat waaaat :whistle2:/

It does look a bit more 'puzzley' than Waking Mars though so I don't know. Of course I haven't played it yet because CAG. :p

I'm not sure this is a case of foot-shooting. I seem to recall reading something from some indie dev that said sales numbers on Steam tend to increase during a Humble Bundle.

I don't know if I believe that backwards logic. Maybe that works for popular indie games, but I doubt it does for anything else. Sure as hell isn't going to increase steam sales for Spider

After looking at this bundle, the third tier is a total scam. Knights of Pen and Paper 2 isn't even the deluxe version - again - and Desktop Dungeons doesn't include the DLC either.

I think I'll stick with the $3 tier and give away the 10 Mil / Mothalovin' Boat games to someone. They're great games.

If it helps, Please Don't Touch Anything has a lot more depth than it looks like from the store page. Think room escape meets Pony Island.

Eh. I have no details, I just recall reading something.

Good points. Thanks.

10,000,000 refuses to install on my phone through the humble app or direct download of the .apk and I have a 6 hour car ride tomorrow. Worst bundle ever!  :-({|=

tempted to buy the 8 bucks but they are not the deluxe... also seen pen 2 falling to 2 soon enough

$3 for a handful of cheapo pixelated indie hack jobs/mobile ports. meh! I didn't realize that HB could sunk so low. Perhaps I was wrong for skipping Poopees Be Mine Pre-Order

I rather do 3 HH on Indiegala

So the additional unlocks for the sonic bundle would just be auto added to my steam account? Or do I need to enter the key from that tier again?

Granted, I didn't get this bundle.

Normally in general w/ bundles from HB - you go back to the your account's page that has the bundle; look for the section with the new keys for the 2nd week BTA unlock key; and add those to your Steam account.

Hmmm when I clicked hide redeemed keys there weren't any new ones for this specific bundle.

Can the APK files from this sale be downloaded directly to your PC and extracted for sideloading? I own a variety of Android devices and would like to use the files on as many of them as possible.

Lots of people knocking this bundle but 10,000,000 was incredibly addictive and You Must Build A Boat was much the same with a little more fluff. They're great little games.

Desktop Dungeons made me feel stupid. I could appreciate what the dev had put into the game and there's a ton of content in there, but I honestly couldn't get my head around some of the mechanics. It's an on-the-spot maths test a lot of the time and I left school years ago. Worth playing but damn hard.

p.s. Seeing dollar prices made me weep, this time last week pounds were worth something... :-({|=
