Humble Bundle Thread

I've played through the game on GC, Wii, and played a bit of the PS3 HD version. Steam was the best by far. Maybe they didn't optimize it for newer hardware though.
if anything, the newer hardware should be able to bruteforce it.

I assumed u played at 30fps? if so, then u should be fine. Once u messed around with it to achieve 60fps, that's when u ran into issues

No, I never play at 30 FPS unless it breaks the game or if the game is capped. Played it through at 60 FPS, and like I said.. zero problems. I'm not good at QTEs with KB/M so if they were difficult for me I would have noticed, and I have a pretty good eye for frame rate drops.

Yeah, I played it on PC a while back and it was 60fps, no issues. I did play with a controller, though, because I figured the game wouldn't work well with kb/m.

So I'm currently looking at a custom/test Humble page for a Very Positive Bundle 2?

PWYW/$1:

RIVE

Neon Chrome

Dungeon Souls

BTA (shows $6):

Shadow of Mordor GotY

Ultimate Chicken Horse

Oxenfree

$10+:

Death Road to Canada

Beat Cop

$80+

ME Shadow of War pre-order

Bonuses:

PWYW: RIVE and Dungeon Souls soundtrack

$10+: Beat Cop soundtrack

Found the link on FB. Anyone ever found a link like this? Do these 'test' pages tend to go live eventually?

I'm not posting the link because I don't want Humble to make it harder to find such info in the future. Last thing we need is a test page to get flooded with purchase attempts.

EDIT: Source is someone at Lamina Studios (Dungeon Souls).

Yes, I did and yes they go live.

Probably if it gets exposed to reddit or SG bundle will get delayed a bit.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is worth it if the BTA goes low enough or if you can get it from a split. Lots of replay value to be had with that game. $10 tier has interesting games, but price is kind of high. No interest in the rest of the bundle, mostly repeats.

I have everything under the $10 tier except Dungeon Souls and SoM (which I played the crap out of on the XB1, so no interest there). Very much limits my interest *in* the $10 tier.

Looks like Lamina Studio tweeted a test link as well, but that one is already dead.

EDIT: Info has hit SG, same source.

I would never buy it, but is SoW the Silver or Gold version?

Cause otherwise, who the fuck would pay $70 for a pre-order for a $60 game?

Found on r/GameDealsMeta:

https://twitter.com/RobotBrush/status/908348684458496003

Puts it at October 3rd.

PWYW: RIVE, Neon Chrome, Dungeon Souls

BTA: Shadow of Mordor GOTY, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Oxenfree

$10+: Death Road to Canada, Beat Cop

$80+: Shadow of War, Mystery Game(s)

Looking forward to that bundle. Rive and Dungeon Souls both look like games I would actually play. Probably wouldn't go for the second tier since I'm only missing SoM and I've played some of that and didn't like it.

Edit: Lol, turns out I already have Rive from the monthly, but didn't activate it for some reason. So much for something I'd actually play.

Not sure if anyone noticed (I didnt until now) but this humble bundle includes a coupon for 50% off Football Manager 2018. I may decide to pre-order it at 50% off. I always wanted to try the series and Im not sure how often it goes on sale (seems like never) or how high of a discount it gets. Just throwing this out there in case anyone missed this and is interested in the game as well.

Football Manager is by Sega. It goes onsale regularly but 50% for a pre-order is a good deal but it will hit that again by the January transfer window, if not lower.

Its not a casual game by any stretch. Read up on it. You'll want to mod it and you'll want edits that you wont be able to do yourself. Especially pay attention to young player guides as getting the best young players early in your career will allow you to have a successful club going forward. If you enjoy it, it will take over your life. If you're easily overwhelmed, you wont last 30 minutes in it. Its got extraordinary depth and is probably the gold standard for sport management games.

If you're not extremely familiar with the sport (including tactics, multiple leagues, player development etc) I cannot recommend it.

Try the demo of the 17 game first.

Reds actually plays manager games, so this is nothing new to him.

Lots of rebundled games. Only missing 1 from each tier, and none of them seem worth it.

Current BTA is at $6.39, but I have a tab at $5.72 if anyone wants it. I got Ultimate Chicken Horse from someone and Death Road looks interesting, but not $10 interesting, so I just need Dungeon Souls now. I'll keep the tab up for a couple more hours.

$1 tier is good.  Death Road to Canada looks neat but not $10 neat considering I don't want anything in the BTA tier or that Beat Cop game.

Actually Beat Cop looks pretty cool... not sure if it's $5 cool, though.  Problem is, already having MoreDerp and the other BTA games look crappy.

you just moobied yourself out of this bundle again, haven't u?

Death Road to Canada is pretty fun, I just don't know how much replayability it has.  I mean, I guess it has infinite since it is procedurally generated, but you know what I mean.  I still haven't gotten over the heartache of getting my pet beaver killed the first time I played it.

You should really take better care of your beaver.

Just because I play video games with wizards doesn't mean I believe all that woo crystal/chakra shit.
