I don't like simulators, but I know some do and there is a lot of bus simulator DLCs here. Bad tier pricing IMHO (the top tiers could be less). Also Humble don't be bragging about coupons (50% off year one season pass included in this bundle!!!!.....could also just include it in the top tier).

Pixels With Porpoise Bundle

$10 Tier

Anvil Saga
Children of Morta Complete
Hero's Hour
Rivals of Aether

$6 Tier

Celeste
TowerFall Ascension
Towerfall Dark World Expansion
Webbed

A solid bundle, but also stuff that's been bundled. It's a charity bundle and not too expensive. Honestly, I didn't know Towerfall had DLC (I just played deathmatch). Think I'm just missing Anvil Saga (not a want) and Webbed (sure).

“Save the charismatic sealife! Who cares about the less glamorous species, or if the species we want you to focus on are even endangered!”

Frigging populist charities.

My offer was $49 for the rest of the year, or $7 per month.
My math was bad. It's for 6 months making it $8.17 per month. This is why I didn't pursue a STEM degree!

Humble Games division (their division that published Indie games from Indie developers for Humble) has been sadly laid-off entirely.
-> https://www.gamedeveloper.com/business/humble-bumble-shuts-down-game-publishing-label

Do note, their main Humble Bundle Division and Humble Store Divisions for Digital Game Selling still exist.
That's a bit surprising since they actually published some good stuff. Wouldn't have thought being a digital-only indie publisher would be expensive enough that you'd shut down with multiple presumably successful games under your belt

At least one of them doesn't even work without having to modify files. I already had these games, but I tried to boot up Lego Batman 1 in various resolutions and it wouldn't boot. Had to modify a file and change the resolution and widescreen value to get it to start. Pretty boring so far, too.

Gonna talk about LEGO games for a second as they are a guilty pleasure of mine. I love collectathons, easy platforming, moderate puzzles, and I love me some IP.

Some of the early games like Batman are a bit rough. They are good, but QOL stuff is missing and they really leaned in hard on open world hubs in later games --- those are much better, imo. So if you like Batman and you aren't digging that one, skip ahead. You can always go back.

The top tier has some great titles. DC Super Villains and the Marvel games are really good. One of the most unique titles, LEGO City Undercover was left off, unfortunately.

Finally, don't try to binge these mf'ers. You will go insane. Do a palate cleanser in between.

I was happy to see that LEGO bundle, as I didn’t have any on Steam (though I own them all on Xbox).

Agree with Hal that LEGO Batman isn’t as polished because it’s one of the oldest. I’d say they got much better around the time of the Marvel and LotR titles. I’d even say Skywalker Saga is great at $7.50 after the 85% off coupon, especially if someone likes collecting lmao (there’s like 2K things to collect from what I remember).

Board Game Night with Direwolf and Friends Bundle

Dune: Imperium
Quilts and Cats of Calico

$15 Tier

Everdell
Terraforming Mars
Terraforming Mars: Hellas & Elysium DLC
Terraforming Mars: Prelude DLC

Munchkin Digital

Scythe: Digital Edition

* COUPON 50% OFF Root: The Riverfolk Expansion

Some of these were bundled by bundle recently in more expensive bundles on Fanatical (Sagarada/Everdell). I'm missing a few each tier (though I want to leave Munchkin out...never liked the card game), so I may get the expensive tier with newer stuff.

I already have both the hobbit and lord of the rings lego games already. I could always sell my codes if I buy thr bundle. Is the bundle really worth it with out Indiana Jones, undercover and pirates?

I feel like unless you really want to collect, adding a few more LEGO games you probably won't play very much is not worth it. If you have kids or really want to play a specific game, it could be worth it, though.

Lego games unless playing with kids or people who like relaxing collectathons (my sis and bro in law co-op them), are not worth it imho unless you like the licenses. I still haven't played the Marvel ones myself, but I know some like the Harry Potter one mainly appeal to the fans.

An update on Lego Batman, even though it requires file modification to boot, I was able to play through the whole thing at 3840x2160 in Winodows 11, but you have to go to options and make it 16:9 every time you play so it isn't stretched. The game was longer than I expected, too. Good thing I checked Gamefaqs, otherwise, would have missed half the game. Also tried the old Lego Star Wars game, and it requires file modification as well.

Now this is a shitty month. Two games that have been bundled before, and not much else that looks worthwhile here. Site is glitchy as hell today too, not giving me my codes.

Humble Choice for August 2024 - all Steam keys (almost):
- Sifu
- High on Life
- Gotham Knights
- Blacktail
- Astral Ascent
- This Means Warp
- Universe for Sale
- Diluvian Ultra
- 1 month "free" trial of DC Universe: Infinite (only one that is not a Steam key).

I mean...it's not horrible. MIght get this one. My son has some interest in Sifu. Blacktail and Astral Ascent for me, and maybe Universe for Sale. I already own Gotham Knights. The rest are...eh.

I feel like I have Sifu somewhere... Maybe PSN or Epic. Have Gotham Knights on steam already. How's high on life? Have it for $8 a month until the end of the year so I guess I'll roll with it since a skip cancels the promo, but not amazing. If anyone wants to trade for Gotham Knights let me know.

One of the easiest passes in my life as I own Sifu, Gotham Knights, Astral Ascent (this game is really great), and the ultra game.

Edit: Got the game I wanted from the bundle in a trade.

Gotham Knights is part of it!?!? Like The Gotham Knight?!?! Everyone was talking about this game not too long ago and you guys aren’t excited to get it as part of Humble Choice!?!?

We’ll see you all change your tune when Suicide Squad is added, just watch…

Trover Saves the Universe has been the only game that regularly made me lol while playing so High on Life alone makes this month worthwhile for me. No interest in Sifu or Gotham Knights but they’ll be easy to trade at least. And I like when humble choice has a couple games I’ve never heard of but that still look like something I’d be into, like Astral Ascent, Diluvian Ultra and Blacktail. Blacktail especially will be a great one to play during Spooktober 🎃

Solid month, totally worth $8 and change for me.

Lots of people subscribe to Game Pass, from which Humble seems to regularly snipe a title or two. That particular game has also been bundled three times with Humble Bundle alone. Both of those things tend to happen frequently and dampen the mood for the big Choice reveals.

I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy those expensive bundles and I'm not a fan of renting my games, presently, so I find I'm rarely as bothered as others about those aspects of Humble Choice. There are plenty of other things to be pissed off about when viewing Humble Choice. Having said that, this bundle works for me and I'm in. Getting it for $8 makes it even better.

I was initially excited for this month when I saw the list.

Looks like Gotham Knights is still unplayable on deck.

I watched a trailer for High on Life and it makes me just want to replay Oddworld Stranger's Wrath.

That only leaves Sifu, which doesn't justify the month, especially since I'm pretty sure I have it from an Epic giveaway.

EDIT: no idea why I thought that I had sifu already. I don't, and I might be back in on the month as a result.

Bought it a while ago for $10 on GamesPlanet, way before Humble starting bundling this one. It's solid - but it ain't great. All the other Batman Arkhams - AA, AC, AO, AK - are better than GK.

For me: AC > AA > AK > AO > GK.

Investigations are cool - wish there was more of them, more depth to them, and more types of these.

GK could be great, if it wasn't so repetitive. Main missions and special missions rock - but the grind hurts this game. "Nightly" doing the same grindy missions, in the same areas, with often same enemy lay-outs - yeah, repetitive. And in the later part of the game, fighting the same mini-boss tons of times in a ROW...yeah, that gets old quick too.

Still, if you like Batman Arkham games - GK's solid; especially when it's dirt-cheap on sale...or if you want GK and other stuff (like Sifu and/or High on Life) in Humble Choice here.

Sifu was one of the monthly PS+ games earlier in the year if you have that
